“If you want someone who is reliable, responsible, and will take phenomenal care of your furry friend; look no further than John! He has walked my pup several times now and I have been nothing but pleased with his services.”

“Jessica was kind and compassionate with my anxious dogs, especially on a day like July 4 when it’s loud and scary for them. She did an excellent job taking care of them and making sure they were safe. She was also great about communication and confirming all details with me as well as sending a detailed report at the end so I knew exactly what was done to care for my dogs. I will absolutely be using her services again to care for my dogs. Thank you so much for taking such great care of them”

“Margaret is fantastic! She is reliable, communicative and our reactive dog does so well with her. We could not have asked for a better person to check in on our pup while we are at work.”

About: I have pet-sat multiple animals including many cats, rabbits, and dogs. I took care of these pets ranging from a few days to a month-long period of time. I cared for, washed, fed, and spent time with these animals as well as took care of their waste. As well as animal care, I have also house-sat during many of these experiences. I have weekends off and are typically fully available to spend most of the day/night with pets. I work Monday through Friday but always make time for my cat after work. I often stay as long as I can when petsitting at a clients home. Pets can get anxious when owners are gone, and I make sure to spend as much quality time I can with the pets.
About: As a mother of two huskies, I will take the upmost care to ensure your pet is well cared for! I will ensure there is special care, responsibility, and fun in every engagement with your fur baby! My schedule is very flexible, and I’m very excited to see how I can fit into your fur baby’s schedule. Whether there is rain, shine, or snow I’ll find a way to make sure your baby’s needs are met! Your fur baby will have a one-on-one walk in order to ensure quality time and maximum safety. Should your baby need extra enrichment or physical activity to get energy out, we can set that up. Or, if your baby simply needs an extra cuddle/quality time while he/she is a couch potato, we can also set that up. I can’t wait to help ensure your baby’s unique needs and desires are met!
“Jon was a beyond wonderful walker for Millie!! Since Millie is a reactive dog, I was looking for someone who would be attentive during walks with her and able to react quickly to remove Millie from stressful situations while I was away. Jon was the perfect match for her! He was incredible comfortable with her right from the start, and left descriptive Rover cards after each walk, along with plenty of pictures so I could tell she was having a great time. I really can’t overstate how much of a relief it was to know Millie was safe and in such good hands. Wish I could give him 10 stars. Will definitely book again!!”

“Ece was a huge help when I needed someone on short notice to take Reggie out for a potty break so that I could go sailing for the day with friends. She was cheerful, responsible, and had good communication. Thank you, Ece. Will definitely call on you again!”

“I highly recommend Annie! She has been so patient and caring with Peter, taking the time to let him get comfortable and build trust at his own pace. It means so much to know he’s in such kind and capable hands. Thank you for taking such great care of him!”

“Jeanine has been walking Morgan my 11 year old , blind border collie for the better part of a year now, and I she has been the most responsive, caring and considerate dog walker I have ever had. She treats Morgan as if she were her own and Morgan is very very comfortable with her. The peace of mind knowing that Morgan has been in such good hands , has been such a relief for me over the busy last year of my life and I can't thank her enough! Would recommend her to anyone in the area 10/10.”

Whether you need assistance for pet care during a short vacation or you are looking for a consistent sitter/dog walker, I can help! Currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. I am happy to work with you to meet your pet care needs! I am located in the Nashua area and available for mid day walks/check ins as needed. I prefer to care for pets in their home as I know some pets get anxious without their people, and I want to ensure they are as comfortable as possible! “We are so happy to have had Alexandra walk and take care of Gobi! She was right in time to get him out to stretch his legs, do his business, eat, and get some TLC while we are out! And we absolutely love the pics we get as updates.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience with all kinds of animals - I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and brothers :) If you have animals besides dogs I am completely comfortable and excited to care for them as well. I spent a year as a trained dog care volunteer at a local animal shelter and am comfortable with any breed, age, and energy level. I am also familiar with many health ailments and don't shy away from the gross stuff. I love spending time outdoors hiking and running in all kinds of weather, and would love to bring your dog with me. I have never met a dog that I couldn't tire out! I have a spacious, dog-friendly back seat in my car to take your dog on mini adventures with me (and a flawless driving record !) I take care of your animals exactly how you would! I have experience with all kinds of leash needs, fences, buzz collars, etc. as well as different diets and medication needs.
“My dog immediately loved Bob the moment he met him and it's clear that they are now friends for the long haul. I'd highly recommend Bob. He's a very capable dog handler, is reliable and responsible, is pleasant and professional and loves walks himself!”

About: I've trained dogs and raised puppies, took care of my grandmother for years(24/7 homecare), I hate theives, I'm loyal and I'm honest/hard working. Animals love me because I'm a child at heart and always will be. I used to help my friend with pet services such as daycare and training until night when we took all the dogs home to their owners. Lea was wonderful. Our 2 labs are 5 and 6 yo and this was the very first time we used someone outside of our inner circle. Lea made ua feel comfortable and confident in their care. We reached out last minute On a Monday for a Thurs/Fri booking and she was able to fit us in. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
