About: I currently have two cats and two dogs that I absolutely adore and consider part of the family. I've also pet sat for family friends and have experience caring for pets with different needs and personalities. After caring for a sick fur baby of my own, I'm comfortable giving medications and helping pets who need a little extra attention or medical care. I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands, and I’ll always treat them with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. ❤️ I’m currently a full-time college student completing my classes online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Because I can plan my coursework around my commitments, I’m able to be dependable and accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m more than happy to provide in-home visits to care for your precious pets. Before any visits begin, I like to meet with families to discuss any questions, concerns, or special care instructions. It’s also a great opportunity for your pets to get comfortable with me and for us to make sure we’re a good fit. My goal is to help both you and your pets feel safe, confident, and at ease while you're away.
“Lindsay was fantastic! I will continue to use her in the future when I need a dog walker/pet sitter. She is responsive, attentive and even brought in my packages that were left at my door. I highly recommend Lindsay.”

“Morgan was amazing! She sent updates on when she got to our dog, and sent photos after their walk. She also sent super specific updates on what they did, which was really nice! Will definitely be reaching out again soon :)”

About: My personal dog is quite the character, likes to observe, take his time, is a bit reactive, and needs vigilance with picking up ground treasures, so know I will take the same care with your pup. Currently working part time for the summer (middle school during the year🙃.) Ready for walks and drop ins as my schedule allows! I will be working at a restaurant so my schedule may vary. I live in an apartment with my 8 y.o. 70lb American Bully, where the only options are potty walks and people watching. I am used to slow, fast, off road and all types of walks!
About: I have been pet-sitting for four years. I’m very familiar with animals of all kinds. I have a teacup chihuahua of my own. The people who have booked me in the past have had medium to big dogs, young to old, so I am well-versed in taking care of dogs of all sizes and all ages. I have grown up with dogs and cats, and I love animals overall!! I’m using Rover as a side job. My schedule is currently flexible, and I’m willing to work with owners to find a time and day that works for both of us. I send daily updates with photos and videos to owners. I’m well versed in giving liquid and pill medication. I’m always available to be reached while caring for your pets. I will bring your pets on at least two walks a day, depending on your pet. I’ll never make your pet do something they do not want to do/are uncomfortable with, within reason. (I.e. I have to make your pet do something for their safety.) If you have a shock collar, I will not use it. I feel it is inhumane to shock animals into submission and obedience.
About: Hi Rover Community! I'm Darwin! I’ve been caring for pets since 2020, and what started as helping a friend quickly grew into something I truly love. My journey began when my best friend adopted a French Bulldog named Pepe (the first black dog in my profile). I was often asked to look after him, and over time I also became great buddies with Bean (the white dog in my profile), whom I spent four years around while living with their owner. Since then, I’ve continued caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from energetic puppies as young as three months old to full-grown companions. More recently, I’ve worked with Onyx (the second black dog in my profile) and I’m currently boarding a Dalmatian. Outside of pet sitting, I volunteer with Motley Mutts Rescue because giving animals love, attention, and safe care is something that genuinely means a lot to me. I look forward to meeting you and providing your furry family member with plenty of care, attention, and affection while you’re away! -Darwin Currently available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays between 9am-9pm, Tuesdays between 9am-5pm, Fridays 9am-4pm. Weekends available 9am-2pm. I have a flexible schedule and mostly work evening weekends and would love to assist you with your dog's needs. I enjoy physical activity and being active outdoors and look forward to working with you and your dog. I offer dog walking in your neighborhood or being able to take your dog on an adventure or even staying in your home with your dog.

For drop in visits I will take them for a walk and make sure their water dish is filled. I've had pets all my life so this isn't the first time caring for pets. I've had pets that lived until 14 to 16 years old and we're my world. If you want a kind and gentle person to work with your pets I'm the one you need. I'll be happy to help you out with your pets. I’m available to walk your dog/dogs after 8:30 in the morning depending on work schedule till 4:30 during the week. If working then after 3. “Excellent experience with Stephanie. Shiva loved her and I got lots of pictures. Stephanie made the house sitting as easy as possible. Kept things tidy and gave Shiva lots of snuggles.”

About: I have been around animals all my life and love being with the them and seeing their unique personalities, I have had 3 cats and have cared for friends and families cats and dogs! I volunteered with Joppa Hill educational farm in 2024 for a year helping to care for the many farm animals and their barn cats. I also recently worked as a pet sitter/dog walker for a year with a private local company! I live in the first floor of my house with my husband and my brother. We have a newly finished basement with a separate entrance. I have 2 cats who are friendly with other cats. If your pet is not friendly with cats i can host them in my basement separate from my cats! Our home also has a fenced in backyard! My partner and brother may interact with your pet but I will be the one bringing them for walks, feeding, and caring for them. I can give pets medications if needed and I do have experience with older pets. I would love to meet and care for your fur baby, whether to bring them for walks, check in on them during the day, or stay with them overnight! I'm currently searching for work and have lots of free time and would love to fill that time caring for pets. My routine is very flexible so I can change my routine to fit the routine of any pet! For those animals coming to stay with me, I rent a home with my husband and my younger brother which has a separate basement "apartment" and a fenced in backyard. I have 2 cats who stay primarily on the first floor and who are friendly with other cats (I'm unsure if they would be friendly with dogs). If your pet is friendly with cats I can carefully and slowly introduce them, if there are any signs of fear or aggression I will keep them separated and have your pet stay primarily in the basement apartment to keep all animals safe and calm. For animals I am travelling to visit, you can expect that I will take some time to play with them, give them lots of pets if they like to be pet, give them fresh water, feed or give medications, and bring in mail, clean dirty pet dishes, etc. I do everything I can to bond with your pet and create a fun, safe environment for them!
About: Hi there! I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel loved and secure while their humans are away. Whether it’s a long walk, extra belly rubs, or quiet company for a shy pup or cat, I make sure every pet gets care that feels just like home. I am reliable, communicative, and treat every animal like my own. Fridays are my free day — perfect for walks, day care, or helping your weekend travel plans start stress-free! Pet car fits perfectly into my weekly routine — I’m off Fridays and often have flexible weekdays or half days, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care! I always prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment. Staying aware of my surrounding and providing attentive care to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

“Olivia has been such a blessing to help break up the day for my newly rescued pup, Woody. She is kind, patient, friendly, responsive and is a great communicator. She takes her time with Woody never seemingly rushing or overwhelming him. She takes his ques when he’s anxious on walks and wants to return home pivoting to a play session out back or inside with his toys and giving me a debriefing. I was anxious about utility Roover at first with some friends poor experiences. My anxiety quickly disappeared after a brief FaceTime to connect prior to Woodys first walk. Woody and I certainly got lucky with finding Olivia to be apart of our days/weeks. Thank you Olivia for being you, we are truly grateful for you.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Manchester
Charlene was so incredible to have helping me out – pretty last minute – with my pups and kitty. She communicated wonderfully and adapted to many changes that came up. One of our pups gets extremely anxious and with mommy gone & his brother injured, it was worse than normal. When the dog walks were doing him more harm than good, she pivoted and did some playtime with him at home instead. ❤️ My MIL, who was staying at the house, really raved about her & said how amazing she was with all of them, taking time to really love on all of them every day. I would absolutely ask Charlene to come back!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
