About: I offer pet walking and drop-in visits. I'm a loving and caring pet lover. I will walk your pets and make sure before I leave that they are happy and comfortable. For drop in visits I will take them for a walk and make sure their water dish is filled. I've had pets all my life so this isn't the first time caring for pets. I've had pets that lived until 14 to 16 years old and we're my world. If you want a kind and gentle person to work with your pets I'm the one you need. I'll be happy to help you out with your pets. I’m available to walk your dog/dogs after 8:30 in the morning depending on work schedule till4:30 during the week and after 11 till 2 on Sunday weather permitting I have a big backyard with lots of room for dogs to run and play. About: *Note: My twin also works on Rover and my availability is based on her's so that we can make sure our own animals are cared for. I have had animals my entire life - primarily cats, but I have also had dogs, chickens, goats, rats, a chinchilla, fish, rabbits, and currently have a parrot. I have provided some basic care for horses and other farm animals as well. In high school, for Junior and Senior year I took the Veterinary Sciences courses at Alvirne High School in Hudson as an elective which gave me education in animal care, anatomy, and health along side my years of hands-on experience. I have also had to provide care for special needs animals from having to give oral and topical medications and shots (primarily insulin for diabetic animals) to higher needs round-the-clock care, wound care (to aid healing and prevent infection after initial vet consultations), etc. Outside of my own animals, I have also unofficially provided animal sitting for friends and family since high school. When people who know my personally are planning travel, I tend to be the first they ask when they are figuring out care for their animals. I have a full time Monday-Friday job that is primarily work from home, however I am expected to be in office usually once a week. This does give me the flexibility to provide care during the day most week days but animals may need to be left alone for a few hours at a time depending on what is required of my job. For weekends and evenings, I may have other commitments but my first priority is making sure the animals are getting the best level care that they deserve and require and will communicate any potential schedule conflicts in advance. I am committed to the safety and well-being of any animals entrusted to my care and will work with their family to make sure I understand clearly what their needs are in advance. Base Needs: I will need to know in detail what the specific animal's needs are so I can provide for them appropriately. This includes feeding schedules and amounts, supplements, medications, walking schedules, etc. Security and safety: I will ask for a veterinary emergency contact in the event of any emergency. While I hope this is never a necessity, I do think it's essential to have on hand just in case. I will also need to know any considerations for the animals' safety concerns such as if there are indoor only cats, if the dog needs regular walks but is not good around other dogs, if there are free-range chickens that need to be secured at night, etc. Enrichment and connection: All animals have different levels of need in terms of social engagement. I will need to know how your animal(s) operate and what level they need. It is important for me that the animal(s) feel comfortable with me so I will work to bond with them so I can provide a higher level of emotional care as needed. If an animal is high anxiety and/or prone to destructive behavior, I will need to know this in advance so we can discuss care solutions and options or safety controls. Hygiene: I work to ensure that the animals I care for are kept in clean and hygienic conditions so I will regularly clean cat boxes, enclosures, etc. as needed. I will need to know where supplies are stored and expected waste disposal (such as in a waste bin outside or the garage). I will also clean up after myself, take care my dishes, trash, etc. so that you can rest assured that I am being respectful of your home. Communication: Open communication is critical to a successful working relationship. If anything happens or comes up, I will inform you. If I have questions, I would like to be able to contact you or a proxy / stand-in if you are unavailable. Emergency contacts for pets for sure but also if there is a family member or close friend nearby.

About: I grew up taking care of all the pets in my neighborhood. I grew up in upstate ate NY and a lot of my neighbors would migrate for the winter. I’m used to short term and long term care for both cats and dogs as well as fish and lizards!! I currently work from home and I am a mother of three children. I make my own schedule and can be available pretty quickly if needed. Standard of care will be reviewed on a pet by pet basis as not every animal requires the same things. However, they all require love and affection which I have PLENTY to share.

About: I've taken care of cats all throughout my life, including living with my roommates two cats. I also grew up taking care of an English Springer Spaniel. I would take car of them with walking, playing, feeding, and brushing them. I work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3pm to 3am, so I am available most days of the week as well as early or late check-ins on the weekend! With the cats I live with now, I feed them in separate rooms since one cat can overeat the others food and end up vomiting it back. One gets plenty of pets, and the other prefers to be left alone most of the time. The more social one will also from time to time be let put into our shared hallway to walk outside the apartment. I have had experience with putting cats in carriers including while wearing harnesses.

About: My name is Anna and I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for most of my life. I have a senior dog (14 years old) with specific heath needs. She takes a supplement with her meals and is hard of hearing. I’ve done leash training with a few dogs that I’ve pet sat and have dealt with dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve had animals my whole life. I consider my pets family and finding proper care for them is extremely important. During the summer months I help take care of my pets and those of family and friends. Every animal has specific needs and I am fully capable and willing to catering to their individual requirements. Some times animals take time to warm up to people and I am more than happy to patiently earn their trust and keep them happy and healthy.

About: If you’re looking for someone to care for your dogs, you found the right person. My flexibility is vast. I can care for dogs at your house or mine, travel dogs, to dog parks, hiking trails, places to swim, or just cuddle on the couch I have flexibility for multiple visits during the day and multiple trips outside as needed. I am very flexible with caregiving for animals and can adapt to various routine needs for your pets, including overnights. My flexibility allows for multiple visits during the daytime or nighttime. I have a fenced in backyard, my own dog and cat who are fairy friendly with other animals. I live in a safe neighborhood and have reliable transportation as needed.

About: If your dog knocks me over I’ll happily die that way. I grew up on a farm and I’m not easily dismayed by bad behavior. Training is my thing. Dog fever is such a a real thing and after losing our dog two years ago we have supplemented the loss with temporary fulfillment with your pup. I’m in need of a friend or two to make up for the love and affection. I live along the rail trail and there’s so much opportunity for activity. Dogs allowed on my bed, couches, my kids bed. I’m extremely active and would love a friend to keep up with! Dog walking, pet sitting, check ins, vet visits, kenneling ( open environment) grooming, whatever you need, I’m your dogs girl! This is my job. I take it very seriously and would love to make you part of my pack! I wake early and I am very active and your dog will not be bored! Lots of love and affection from my kids and myself. I have a great landscape for activity and exploring with your pup. Our home allows your dog to live comfortably like they would at home with you. A vacation for them as well.
