About: I’ve grown up around dogs for over 10 years and have always loved caring for animals. I recently moved out of my parents’ home after losing my last childhood dog, and I’m not quite ready to have my own dog just yet. I’d love to spend that time caring for and loving other people’s pets! I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, personalities, and energy levels and understand that every dog has their own routine and needs. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, give them lots of attention, and keep them comfortable in a home environment. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and will treat your pet like they are my own. I work three night shifts per week as a nurse, while my partner works weekday mornings and afternoons as an electrician. Because of our schedules, there are plenty of days and times when I’m available to give pets my full attention with his help. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship. We have an unfenced lawn at home and live on a quiet dead-end road with safe walking areas around a lake, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m also happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pet! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
