Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! We truly couldn’t ask for better care for our girls. 10/10!

Ashley walked my dogs a couple of days this week and she was wonderful. My dogs seemed happy and she sent me pictures and updates which was much appreciated while I was away. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter/walker.

About: I’ve always had animals growing up and have always had an interest in taking care of animals. As soon as I was old enough family and friends have had me watch their animals. Dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, reptiles, you name it! I could not imagine having a life without animals. Currently I have two Siberian huskies, two cats, and one bunny. I’ve also had a lot of experience giving dogs and cats medication, and know all the tricks to get them to take it in a quick and easy manner. I’d like to say I’m very responsible, and will absolutely treat your animals like my own. My mornings and afternoons are typically very available, because I own an aerial studio and those classes are mainly held at night. I am a very active person so I am always looking to add more walks into my daily routine. At my home I have a fenced in yard, and two friendly, playful dogs. I do have two cats as well, but they can easily be separated. I also have two crates at my house that both of my dogs comfortable can go in when needing to be separated. At clients homes I can do anything you need me to for your pet. Treats, walks, playtime, crate time, and even snuggles.

Debra was great with Sabby. I was home with a knee injury, so I got to witness their interactions first hand when Debra arrived to take Sabby on walks. I loved receiving the Rover cards mapping their adventures, and I know Sabby is always delighted to see Debra. Thanks, Debra, for doing such a good job.

I also have a Cat who is 2 and very spoiled. All of my animals have dealt with medical issues so i have experience with many treatments. I also have pet sat since I was a teen for both cats and dogs, and the parents were always very happy when they got home to a joyful pet. I put a lot of love into caring for all animals. I can be there for your fur babies anytime they need me. I have a very open daily and weekly schedule. I can be there for breakfast, mid day care time and dinner. About: Looking for someone to care for your pets as well as you do? I have 15 years of experience caring for animals ranging all different sizes, ages, and health needs. I’ve had animals my whole life from dogs, cats, horses, and exotic birds. I am the designated care giver for my friends’ and family’s pets and wanted to give Rover a try to put those skills to more use. I currently have two cats of my own and will not be accepting to board animals in my home at this time, but am more than happy to care for your furry or feathered friends in their current space and make sure they’re exercised, fed, and not missing you too much while you’re away! My rates are all negotiable, please connect with me directly for pricing questions. I look forward to befriending and caring for your pets and keeping them safe for your return home whether it be from a vacation or just from work. I currently work remotely part time during the week and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to drive and visit your pets to care for them. Drop in visits typically take about 15-20 minutes, walking or exercising can be 1-2 hours, and sitting can be booked for multiple days. Since I will be only caring for pets in their own homes, my care is fully personalized and customizable to meet your specific needs and requirements. I am comfortable giving medication to pets and am experienced with reactive and emotionally triggered animals.

About: We treat animals as parents would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and taking the appropriate approach for positive behavior and training. We work full-time, yet we make time for evening walks with our youngest dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, we take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. We have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, we do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them! Over the years, I’ve cared for my own pups as well as countless others through dog walking and pet sitting. Whether it’s a quick walk, extended stay, or just playtime and cuddles, I treat every pet like my own. I’m passionate about animals and truly love spending time with them, earning their trust and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away!! I currently work remotely 4 days of the week with 1 day in office. This allows me flexibility to dog walk and pet sit since I am not tied to an in person office. During the work day when I’m working remotely I can care for your dog and have even more freedom and flexibility to do this after the workday is over at 5pm. Weekends also get my full attention as long as I am not away! When caring for pets in a clients home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routines to keep them comfortable and stress free. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, walk preferences, or favorite toys. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, and I always treat their home with the utmost respect and cleanliness. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away!

Annie is so fabulous!! We met a little while ago and I’ve used her a handful of times but she really came through this past week. My schedule became a little discombobulated this past week with a recent death and I was looking for help with my dog. Not only was she happy to help last minute but she was prompt with her reply back! My dog loves her and I do too!! If you’re looking for someone with a good heart choose Annie 🐶💕

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
