“Ashton was great! Our dog Jack doesn't spend much time with other people and Ashton was very accommodating when our previous sitter (not from rover.com) canceled a week before the appointment. We received pictures and updates throughout the visit, communication was excellent! Thanks again, we look forward to meeting again when the need arises!!”

“Krystyna & Sara are AWESOME!! If you have a dog that needs to board somewhere, you don't have to second guess leaving it with these two great hosts!! My pup was EXHAUSTED after picking him up, the house dog Bernie, did a great job matching Whiskey's energy and wore him out. He's still catching up on his sleep the next day! LOL. We even found out that he's good with cats! I will be boarding my dog there again next month. A++++++. experience.”

“Felicia took great care of my Bernese Mountain Dog, Bailey, during her overnight stay. She was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and made the whole experience stress-free. I had no complaints and would definitely trust her with Bailey again!”

“Jessica was very attentive. She paid close attention to my dog, Teddy, and kept him busy and happy. She sent adorable pictures frequently and spent a lot of outdoor time with Teddy walking and playing with him. I felt very comfortable with Jessica. She showed strong knowledge about dogs and a clear love for them as well. I absolutely recommend Jessica for anyone who needs their dog taken care of.”

“We boarded our 2y old whippet, Willow, with Lucille for an overnight. As a nervous parent, I couldn't have felt more confident in the care I knew Lucille would provide for Willow. She and her husband David are such lovely people, and they have a warm, welcoming home. Willow immediately took to her home away from home. Lucille took her outside frequently and went on multiple long walks with her. I left instructions for Willow's diet, snack time and bedtime routine that she followed to the letter. I can't say enough good things about the care Lucille provided, and we will definitely be boarding with her again - likely within the month!”

“John was great! He communicated well throughout our stay and provided regular updates, which we really appreciated. He has a nice, big fenced-in yard for the pups to run around and play, and Cannoli was such a sweet pup! We would definitely recommend John and would be happy to have him watch our pup again.”

“Salish was wonderful with our dogs and gave us constant updates. I was particularly worried about my younger dog who can be troublesome, but it ended up working out so well! They were so well taken care of, and my younger dog was the calmest I have seen her in a long time. Thanks, Salish!”

“Julie is the best!! Being our second boarding with Julie, Nelly was excited to see her when I dropped her off- a wonderful sign! Julie is in tune with Nelly’s needs providing my high energy dog with the exercise and attention she needs. I was provided with pictures and updates, and at pick up Nelly was clearly a happy pup, also giving Julie love before leaving. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Allison, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets while you’re away. I’ve been caring for animals for over six years, with the last three years spent professionally providing pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Working with animals has always been my passion, and I’m incredibly grateful that I now get to do it full-time. Before becoming a full-time pet sitter, I worked at a veterinary hospital and completed two years of veterinary technician school. Although I originally planned to become a vet tech, I discovered that my passion was caring for pets in their own homes and building lasting relationships with both animals and their families. Making that career change has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I truly love what I do every day. I’m fully insured, Pet CPR certified, and experienced caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, senior pets, puppies, high-energy breeds, reactive dogs, and pets with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to help your pets stay happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Every pet is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and favorite activities. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, relaxing on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. Communication is very important to me, so you’ll receive regular updates and plenty of photos throughout each visit or stay. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, loved, and receiving the same care I’d want for my own animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! As a full-time professional pet sitter and dog walker, my days are spent caring for multiple clients through scheduled dog walks and drop-in visits. If I’m house sitting in your home, I will come and go throughout the day to care for my other scheduled clients. Most days, I’m typically away for about 5–6 hours at a time, so your pets should be comfortable being alone for that length of time. Outside of those visits, I’ll be spending the rest of my time at your home giving your pets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I take safety very seriously, at my home I have a fenced in yard it is short though so any dogs who could jump or have a history with being a little mischievous stay on a 15 foot lead. I am insured as well! If the stay is at your home then I follow your rules to the best I possibly can to keep your pup safe and happy at all times!
“Caty and her family took such good care of our dog. She sent us pictures and updates. I made a mistake with our booking, but Caty was very understanding and accommodating. We will book with her again.”

“Katherine is awesome! My dog just spent a week with her and was very happy. She sent me pictures every day and reached out with updates. There was never a lack of communication or a feeling that my pup wasn’t being absolutely cared for. I highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs, and I won’t hesitate to call her again when the need arises!”

“Jing, made this experience a very positive one. I hadn’t left my 2yr old Zuchon previous to this. I felt very reassured for the duration my fur baby was in her home. My pet enjoyed the doggy day camp, and will continue to use Jing whenever possible. Thanks Rover!”

“Aya and Abdullah are absolutely amazing. I was desperately looking for someone to care for my beautiful cat, Zoë while transitioning to a new place, and they were truly a blessing during such a stressful and emotional time. The moment they told me they could help, I felt such a huge sense of relief. They gave Zoë her own space, treated her with so much care, and sent daily pictures and updates that gave me so much comfort and peace of mind. They’re kind, reliable, professional, and always quick to respond. I trust them completely with Zoe and will definitely reach out to them again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and trustworthy pet sitters!”

“Andrea was great! She went above and beyond to make sure my not-always-easy corgi was settled and happy. She is an excellent communicator and sent daily pictures and videos. I could tell my pup was relaxed and having fun. I would absolutely use her again! HIGHLY recommend!”

“Tilly seemed to enjoy her overnight stay and interacted well with Alexandra’s dog. There was excellent communication between us with several great status photos provided. Will certainly use her services again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
