“Mikayla and Alen took great care of our frenchie Zeus. He loves cuddles and they made sure he got all the loving care he needed! We would definitely have them watch Zeus again!!”

“Allie is an awesome sitter. She has watched our dog two times now and we plan to book her again. She watched our dog Skye for a one week and a two week stay. Skye loves being at Allie’s, where she gets multiple walks and plenty of play time. Allie is great about sending updates and pictures. Allie is conscientious and professional, and you can tell she really cares about your dog! I really like that Skye is able to get a lot of attention at Allie’s. Highly recommend her!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Krystyna & Sara G. were absolutely amazing with my mini Goldendoodle, Hazel! From the moment I dropped her off, I knew she was in caring and capable hands. They provided excellent communication throughout her stay, including updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Hazel came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Krystyna and Sara treated her like part of their family, giving her plenty of attention, affection, and care. They went above and beyond to make sure all of her needs were met and that she felt comfortable and loved. I would highly recommend Krystyna & Sara G. to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate pet sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Hazel—I will definitely be booking with you again! 🐾❤️”

“Hands down the best sitter we’ve ever had for our dog! We were desperate for a last minute dog sitter and came across Katelyn on Rover! From the meet and greet to her actual boarding stay, Katelyn has been so great! She sent so many photos, was on top of it with the communication and assured us that Millie was in the best of hands! I couldn’t recommend her more. Already looking forward to our upcoming bookings with her!”

“I can't say enough good things about Lucille! She took amazing care of our little guy, sending thoughtful updates and photos throughout our time away. She was attentive to his needs, followed his routine perfectly, and clearly showered him with love and attention. Our dog came home happy and well-cared for. I would HIGHLY recommend Lucille to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“We had such a great experience leaving our little Luna with Jacob and Willie (his friendly dog!). Jacob was super communicative with little reassuring updates and made sure to provide a cozy and comfortable space for her to stay while we were on vacation. Were really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who’s looking for someone to care for their pup!”

About: For all of my life I have had animals. They bring sheer happiness to my soul. We currently have 3 seniors - 14 yo cat since a kitten, an 11yo small dog adopted in 2025 and a 10 yo dog we rescued when he was 4 months old. I understand how important it is when going away to know your furry friends are in good hands, safe and cared for. Those things make the experience of being away so much more relaxing. That is what I am here for, to help you relax and not worry that your pets are being stressed. Getting to know the unspoken needs and nuances of animals in my care is a main priority. Each of them has their own personality which, when recognized, makes the time together positive experience for all involved. I do work a full-time mainly remote job that offers flexibility to support the needs of animals in my care. While in my care, I am attentive to their needs keeping them on any type of schedule for continuity of care. My yard is partially fenced allowing me to offer a tethered sense of freedom for your dog. Cuddles, love and walks are absolutely on the menu.

“Katherine is awesome! My dog just spent a week with her and was very happy. She sent me pictures every day and reached out with updates. There was never a lack of communication or a feeling that my pup wasn’t being absolutely cared for. I highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs, and I won’t hesitate to call her again when the need arises!”

“Penny and her husband take such wonderful care of Penelope. She’s a senior dog who usually doesn’t take to people, but she feels completely at ease with them — and she absolutely adores Penny’s husband. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she’s happy, safe, and comfortable in their care.”

“Mercis was so great with Connor for the two weeks he was with her. She even went above and beyond and helped with some behavior training too! I’d definitely put Mercis at the top of my list for future boarding stays.”

“Lindsey was amazing, this was the first time leaving our dog and using this app so we were nervous to say the least. Lindsey provided pictures and videos the whole weekend we were gone along with texts saying how our dog was doing. I would definitely recommend Lindsey again and if we ever need another sitter for our dog we will be requesting her.”

“John was great! He communicated well throughout our stay and provided regular updates, which we really appreciated. He has a nice, big fenced-in yard for the pups to run around and play, and Cannoli was such a sweet pup! We would definitely recommend John and would be happy to have him watch our pup again.”

“Annie and Rosie had a great stay with Salish. They came home happy and I could tell they were loved just as they would have been at home. I am so happy Salish took care of them, made my week away so much more enjoyable.”

“Andrea took amazing care of my two corgis while I was in Europe for 2 weeks. She sent daily photos of smiling doggies; Greatly appreciated the peace of mind. Highly recommend!!”

“Melissa was extremely friendly and took good care of Coco. She also is very quick in responding to all my queries and she also gave me daily updates on my Coco. I will definitely bring my Coco back to Melissa soon for dog sitting next time.”

“Tilly seemed to enjoy her overnight stay and interacted well with Alexandra’s dog. There was excellent communication between us with several great status photos provided. Will certainly use her services again!”

“Jing was the best!! So caring, kind and attentive! I know my dog was super comfortable with her and her whole family. She really did such a great job caring for him. We definitely will be hiring Jing again! Thank you so much!”

“Brooke knew we were nervous and sad to be leaving our dog home for our vacation- she made sure to send updates and was super reassuring the whole time! Her kids were super sweet and my dog loved hanging with them, too! Would 10/10 recommend. Thank you Brooke!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
