“We were a little nervous to leave Indy for a week, but our fears were immediately put to rest when we saw how wonderfully he was treated by Stacey and her family! Indy loved her fenced-in backyard and playing in the kiddie pool on the hot days! Indy and Stacey bonded quickly and we enjoyed the frequent updates, pictures, and videos. Most importantly, he was safe and happy and treated like family. Stacey is our new go-to pup sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Allison, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets while you’re away. I’ve been caring for animals for over six years, with the last three years spent professionally providing pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Working with animals has always been my passion, and I’m incredibly grateful that I now get to do it full-time. Before becoming a full-time pet sitter, I worked at a veterinary hospital and completed two years of veterinary technician school. Although I originally planned to become a vet tech, I discovered that my passion was caring for pets in their own homes and building lasting relationships with both animals and their families. Making that career change has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I truly love what I do every day. I’m fully insured, Pet CPR certified, and experienced caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, senior pets, puppies, high-energy breeds, reactive dogs, and pets with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to help your pets stay happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Every pet is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and favorite activities. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, relaxing on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. Communication is very important to me, so you’ll receive regular updates and plenty of photos throughout each visit or stay. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, loved, and receiving the same care I’d want for my own animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! As a full-time professional pet sitter and dog walker, my days are spent caring for multiple clients through scheduled dog walks and drop-in visits. If I’m house sitting in your home, I will come and go throughout the day to care for my other scheduled clients. Most days, I’m typically away for about 5–6 hours at a time, so your pets should be comfortable being alone for that length of time. Outside of those visits, I’ll be spending the rest of my time at your home giving your pets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I take safety very seriously, at my home I have a fenced in yard it is short though so any dogs who could jump or have a history with being a little mischievous stay on a 15 foot lead. I am insured as well! If the stay is at your home then I follow your rules to the best I possibly can to keep your pup safe and happy at all times!
“Daniela took amazing care of Dobby while we were away. She sent great updates and from each picture and video it was easy to tell that Dobby was having a great time playing in the yard and hanging out with Daniela and her family. Glad Dobby was able to be with a safe and caring family while we were gone!”

“Karen is the best. She was able to take us in with short notice and was very communicative. Frankie definitely thrived and had a great experience with her and her handsome pups. Thanks again!”
“Caroline and her husband are pawfect dogsitters. They take good care of my dog. It's her 4th time with them. She knows them and is comfortable at their home. It put me at peace and I can trust them with my dog.”

“Salish was a fantastic sitter for our pup. When we ran into a travel delay, she kindly accommodated our request to extend his stay for another night. We felt so comfortable knowing he was in great hands. Thank you, Salish!”

“We just came back from a wonderful Christmas - New Year's trip, and Tux spent seven nights with Faith and her family. We cannot say enough about how Faith handled the whole stay, and we will DEFINITELY book Tux to stay with her again! Faith made herself available for a "meet and greet" with Tux about a week before we were leaving on our trip. She was very attentive to Tux, and we were impressed with her fenced in yard and welcoming home. We were flying out early on the day after Christmas, so Faith had no problem with our dropping off Tux around 7pm on Christmas night. She was also accommodating about the pick up time on New Year's Day. While we were away, Faith sent me several messages and pictures about Tux and how he was doing. Needless to say, I'm not sure who was having more fun: Tux with his new friends at Faith's home?!?! or us on our tropical vacation!?!? We will definitely book Faith again to take care of Tux. She was very professional, and Tux seemed very happy during his time with Faith and her family.”

“Colleen and her family were wonderful!! Colleen is very caring and thoughtful and obviously loves animals. She went the extra mile. The daily reports she sent were very colorful, descriptive, enthusiastic and delightful! We enjoyed the daily photos. Lily was smiling in many of the photos! She obviously had a good time. We feel she was very well cared for and we've already booked the next visit.”

“Kristen and Bobby are beyond wonderful! They showed some much love and care to our dog who stayed with them for nearly two weeks. Our dog went for long walks daily, played with their sweet dog, and made himself at home in their house. We can’t recommend them highly enough - Kristen, Bobby and Archie, you guys are the best! Thank you!!”

“Melany was amazing! She kept me updated the whole time by sending videos and pictures of my Frenchie, and it was clear my dog was happy and well cared for. She also accommodated an extra day for me last minute, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be booking with her again next time I go away!”

“Allie was fantastic! She is very experienced and knowledgeable about puppy care, which made us feel comfortable leaving our 4 month old puppy overnight for the first time. Winnie had an amazing time, and I don't think she even knew we were gone thanks to all of the fun activities Allie had planned. We’ll definitely book with her again!”

“Julia was amazing with our puppy and went above and beyond to take care of him as well as to keep us up to date with how everything was going, would highly recommend her to anyone”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - East Hampstead
I’m so happy to have found Karen on Rover. Karen is easygoing and kind — exactly the type of person you’d want to watch your beloved pets. I felt just as comfortable leaving our pup with her as I do with family. She sent lots of photos, which put our minds at ease, especially since our dog, Bob, looked happy and relaxed in every one of them! I had never used Rover or even a dog sitter (outside of our parents) before so I was a bit anxious about it, but it worked out wonderfully! Thank you, Karen!

First time doing an overnight with Karen after all our trial visits with my nervous dog. Daisy did amazing and actually ate while staying which has not been the case with other places she has stayed. Well def be back so she can remain familiar with you! Thanks again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
