“Blaze is a rescue cattle dog who came to us in Jan. 2021. By nature, she is somewhat slow to warm up to new people. We were a bit anxious about leaving her for 2 weeks, but we immediately knew that Carolyn was the perfect host at our meet and greet. She and her family (both two legged and four legged) let Blaze take her time in acclimating and in no time at all she was one of their pack. We got a few pictures every day and our only concern was whether or not Blaze would want to come home with us when we got back! We will definitely choose Carolyn as a host again on our next vacation. She is warm, responsible, professional and caring. Blaze can't wait to go back!”

About: I love animals of all kinds, but my favorite domesticated animal is a dog. I am known by a lot of my clients and people I know personally as “The Dog Whisperer” I have 2 fur babies of my own who I love more than anything on this green earth. When I am taking care of your fur baby or babies, you can be away peacefully, knowing that they are being loved, cared for, and treated as if they were my own. I say “hi” to dogs before I say “hi” to people. I work 35 minutes from home. I have every other weekend off. I do have to work most holidays but with planning it will work out. If I’m in your home, I will go by your house rules and go with your dog(s) routine the best I can when I am not working. When I am in my own home, I just ask that you bring whatever it is you would use in a day for your furry baby. Leash, harness, food etc. no need for a crate as I have a couple here if needed.

I think my dogs liked her more than me and already misses her. Haha 😄 I didnt worry about them at all knowing they were with her. About: I've always had animals in my life since the day I was born. I was brought up to love all creatures big and small. My true passion and love in this life is for the animals. I have worked with mainly cats and dogs. Volunteered in many animal shelters in NH and CT. At one time I lived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where I helped run an animal shelter. Saving many animals from bad situations. I also went around to the schools down there educating the children on how to care for an animal. When I moved back to the USA I started volunteering at my vet where I brought my dogs for care. My vet ran a rescue called All Better Pets. She turned it over to us volunteers. We created a Board where I became Treasurer. I have no children so my animals are my children. This is just a brief description of the many things I have done to help. I would eventually like to get back into working with animals full time. I am looking to walk, feed and or care for your furbaby in your home. Currently I can not Board an animal as my friend who I live with has 3 cats, 1 which is old and sick. Sorry! Currently in my home we have 3 cats. Our dog has passed. They have free range of the home and many places to look out the windows along with climbing towers etc. When my dog was alive she had an electric fence where she was free to roam while we were home.

About: In addition to my own 2 dogs and all of the family and farm dogs I grew up with, I have fostered rescues at various times over the years. I have a fenced backyard and my boys (both neutered) are calm and friendly fellows. I'm a mindfulness coach that works from my home. Most days I can be found meditating, reading, or hanging with my two boys Farley (old man) and Fawkes (young man). Lots of snoring dogs here with the occasional community bark at around dinner time. I have a fenced in yard where they pups are free to roam, an enormous dog bed, and a free range policy within the house. I can, of course, follow any crating practices that you use at home during your friend's stay.
