We were a bit concerned about how they might adjust in a new place with new people, but we soon discovered we didn't have to worry at all. We were able to leave them for the day and not worry about a thing. Sindy even sent us several pictures of them throughout the day to let us know they were safe and sound while we were able to enjoy our 4-year-old grandson's birthday party in another state. “Will was an amazing sitter for our pup! Told Will our pup is leash reactive, told him what we do, and Will's reactions was, "We'll work on that together too!" Got the cutest pup pictures from his stay. He communicated the whole time. My dog looked so happy/content in all the pictures which were not staged at all and looked very genuine. A few were a tired doggo! Clearly, Will doesn't neglect the dogs he sits for and walks/plays with them. Hesitant to write this review because now, he'll be all booked up! About: My first “job” as a kid was walking and letting out my neighbors’ dogs after school. From there, I started working in horse barns, managed a few barns, and then eventually became an equine massage practitioner full time. At the same time, I continued to train, compete with, and enjoy LOTS of hikes with my own personal dog. I worked as an assistant dog trainer for several years at a positive-reinforcement based facility, and gained a wealth of knowledge from the experience. I’ve used positive reinforcement training with dogs, cats, horses, rats, and even birds of prey! I have raised and trained a number of puppies/dogs for friends and family members, and have experience fostering as well. I’ve cared for and/or lived with dogs, cats, birds, rodents, exotic animals, horses, and other farm animals. While I am comfortable with any and all breeds of dogs, I especially love herding breeds! I am self-employed, and generally have a pretty flexible schedule with some notice! I am able to accommodate mornings, mid day, or afternoon/evening check-in’s. I have availability weekdays as well as weekends. I am happy to go over whatever your individual dog’s routine is in order to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible. Whether that’s making sure they stay in a fenced in yard, or going over the training tools that you use, I am more than willing to make sure that your dog is happy and that you have peace of mind knowing that they are sticking to a routine that they are comfortable and familiar with!

Karen is very sweet and took wonderful care of my dog, Kalei. She has excellent communication and was very responsive coordinating the visit and also gave me photos and updates. Her home is clean and welcoming and she already even had stairs for little dogs. Kalei was happy and relaxed when I picked her up, and she slept a lot which is a good sign that she was cozy. She is a senior dog, and Karen has experience administering pills and being mindful of medical conditions. Overall, I am very pleased with Kaleis visit and will definitely bring her back!
