Caring for others has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a large, close-knit family as one of six siblings and later raised five children of my own, so creating a safe and loving home comes naturally to me. I’ve been around animals since I was young. My father owned racehorses, and I later cared for a horse of my own for many years. Over the years, I’ve also had dogs, cats, and rabbits as part of my family. I recently moved to a new town and bought a home with a large fenced yard and farm space behind it. While I don’t have animals of my own right now, visiting pets have plenty of safe room to enjoy the outdoors. Since I’m home throughout the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. I will care for your pet with the same love and attention I would give my own.

I’m so happy to have found Karen on Rover. Karen is easygoing and kind — exactly the type of person you’d want to watch your beloved pets. I felt just as comfortable leaving our pup with her as I do with family. She sent lots of photos, which put our minds at ease, especially since our dog, Bob, looked happy and relaxed in every one of them! I had never used Rover or even a dog sitter (outside of our parents) before so I was a bit anxious about it, but it worked out wonderfully! Thank you, Karen!
Karen did a great job and my little kitties loved her, each being playful. She was patient with my Sophia who is a picky princess. Karen also helped with shutting a forgotten window and cleaning up an unfortunate hairball. I look forward to having her care for my girls again.

First time doing an overnight with Karen after all our trial visits with my nervous dog. Daisy did amazing and actually ate while staying which has not been the case with other places she has stayed. Well def be back so she can remain familiar with you! Thanks again.
karen is wonderful! she truly shows how much she loves caring for my little fur baby, roo. karen is thoughtful and attentive to everything roo needs to feel comfortable. she communicates clearly and is flexible with scheduling. really appreciate her care for roo.
Karen and her family were absolutely fantastic. She took our four month old pup for nine days and followed our schedule, kept up with the training we had implemented, and truly cared for her like she was her own. She gave us plenty of updates and great photos throughout vacation. Maple came home happy and the transition back home has been seamless. Thank you!

I’m home throughout the day, so your pet will have plenty of attention and supervision. I stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, so they feel comfortable and settled.
