About: My first “job” as a kid was walking and letting out my neighbors’ dogs after school. From there, I started working in horse barns, managed a few barns, and then eventually became an equine massage practitioner full time. At the same time, I continued to train, compete with, and enjoy LOTS of hikes with my own personal dog. I worked as an assistant dog trainer for several years at a positive-reinforcement based facility, and gained a wealth of knowledge from the experience. I’ve used positive reinforcement training with dogs, cats, horses, rats, and even birds of prey! I have raised and trained a number of puppies/dogs for friends and family members, and have experience fostering as well. I’ve cared for and/or lived with dogs, cats, birds, rodents, exotic animals, horses, and other farm animals. While I am comfortable with any and all breeds of dogs, I especially love herding breeds! I am self-employed, and generally have a pretty flexible schedule with some notice! I am able to accommodate mornings, mid day, or afternoon/evening check-in’s. I have availability weekdays as well as weekends. I am happy to go over whatever your individual dog’s routine is in order to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible. Whether that’s making sure they stay in a fenced in yard, or going over the training tools that you use, I am more than willing to make sure that your dog is happy and that you have peace of mind knowing that they are sticking to a routine that they are comfortable and familiar with!

We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”

I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I’ll treat every dog like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🏠🐾 Home Boarding I offer a comfortable, loving home environment for dogs 55lbs and under, 1 year and older. I keep boarding small and personal, with a maximum of two dogs at a time, so each dog receives plenty of individual attention and care. I truly enjoy being around dogs and love giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and socialization. I’m happy to care for dogs who enjoy having other dogs around, as well as dogs who are more comfortable being the only dog in my care. Every dog has their own personality and comfort level, and I’m happy to tailor their stay to their individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to run around. I also have a stroller for dogs who prefer more of a pampered ride around town than a leash walk. Before accepting a new boarding dog, I prefer to have a Meet & Greet so we can make sure your dog is comfortable in my home and that we’re a good fit. If an in-person meeting isn’t convenient, I’m also happy to arrange a Zoom/video call first. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away. ❤️ I’m am very reliable and available for pet care on my days off, including Mondays,Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays . I can also open additional days on my calendar when I’m available. I enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them the love, attention, exercise, and companionship they need. For drop-in visits, I provide care in your home and follow your instructions carefully. I’ll make sure your dog is safe and comfortable, keep doors and gates secure, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home.

About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.

About: I am an animal lover who had had dogs and cats my whole life. I go for 1-2 hour walk or hike with my dog and would love more company. I walk in the mornings and offer pick up and drop off. I work from home and have mornings free. I usually walk from 8-10:30 on weekdays and am flexible on weekends. Would love to have your pup join me! I have a friendly dog at home who loves every creature. Safety is number one priority! Your pet will be cared for as my own with diligence and never left alone.
