“We did a meet ‘n greet with Morgan many months back, and she was great to team up with on a refresher video-call prior to this first house/3-dog sitting job with her. We like how Morgan catches on quickly and seems to be on top of the details. Her notes and pictures reassured us daily, and both the dogs and Morgan seemed to be enjoying themselves. She did well with administration of oral drops medication to one of the dogs, and managed the occasional grumpy attitude of one of the three dogs during beard clean-up times (mini schnauzers = messy food beards!) Morgan was a conscientious house guest; removing her shoes in house, tidying up kitchen, washing the dogsz’ towels, changing the bed sheets, running dishwasher, etc. This was well appreciated after arriving home from the airport late at night. We hope to have a getaway trip again, with a Morgan as our house/dog sitter!”

“It is honestly hard to put into words how great an experience I had with Lois without sounding hyperbolic. She was a perfect guardian of my home, my kitties, and my anxious heart. I'd never left my kitties for even a night, and I'd never used a sitting service but was offered the chance to visit my son in the Netherlands for 3 weeks and I couldn't pass it up. I just needed to feel at peace with how I left things at home. Lois was wonderful. She came over early for a meet and greet, and it was immediately obvious she is a kind, intelligent, and gentle person. I have two cats from a horrible hoarding situation who have taken years to feel safe, and they both took to her immediately! My stray, who came to me barely weaned, took a while but even he came around (he is scared of the cars going by the house). She took notes! (Something I always wished people I trained at work would do) Lois and I chatted a bit fairly frequently via a chat app, and she always sent what she called "proof of life" pictures, all of which were so dear. (One was of the kitties waking her up one morning. Such a typical thing in my home, and its normalcy was what made it great. That, and someone just waking up having the presence of mind to grab their phone and record this little domestic scene!) In our chats, just by the way she talked about my kitties it was VERY clear she'd quickly picked up on their personalities, quirks, and needs. The very language she used talking about how they were doing made it obvious she was talking about my kitties, and not just generic kitty language. And she left my home cleaner than I left it for her. While this is not the highest bar (lol) it was so nice to come home after 3 weeks, and an entire day of travel, to a clean, sweet smelling home with clean sheets on the bed! And a bowl of grapes on the counter to snack on (yes, I mentioned grapes and string cheese in our meet and greet. She listened!) I enjoyed Lois. I enjoyed our chats over and above talking about the kitties. She was clearly comfortable and cared about guardianship of my odd, quirky little house. Coming home I would not have known someone stayed here except that my cats were just as happy, fat, and sassy as they were when I left. I would recommend Lois without reservation. I feel like I have added a person in my life that I know I can count on if I need her, and if I ever need someone to care for my kitties it is really nice to know she is there. The comfort and peace she offered while I was on my magical adventure with my son was priceless. Thank you Lois!”

“Brie is an angel to our big guy. Brick is. 120 lb rescue mutt who is also a certified ESA to his mom, but cannot be boarded from previous trauma. Brie stays at our home with him and he is absolutely in love with her. He is a pretty independent dog but her car pulls up he goes running to her and he does not do that with everyone, he’s always so excited to see her which makes leaving him a lot less stressful. He gets all the walks, love and treats and she’s always sending us updates. She really provides us with so much peace of mind. We could not recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve had dogs of all sorts of temperaments my entire life so I’m pretty good wih dogs. I’ve never worked professionally with dogs but I’m comfortable feeding them, bathing, walking, and other needs your dog may have! At home I have an 8 year old golden retriever and a 1.5 year old german shepherd mix who is full of energy! I work from home most days so I’m free to talk to anyone about flexibility for coming over to your house to help out with your pooch! I’ve gone to a couple of obedience training classes for my dogs so I know and am familiar with obedient skills so if you have a puppy learning those techniques I’d be happy to help continue the training with that! I work from home M-F so happy to coordinate as needed. I live in Derry and am willing to travel 25 miles to help you and your furry friend! Would prefer to keep it to home stays at your house where your friend is most comfortable. I do not have a fenced in yard.
