“Andrea did a house sit for our 2 cats for 3 nights after a quick meet & greet. I could tell right away from the meet & greet that she knew her way around cats and that my cats felt at ease around her. She was so great and we felt relaxed and at ease on vacation knowing she was with them. She was able to give our 14 year old cat her medicine, which is not the easiest thing, without issue. She followed all the instructions and sent us some really great pics of our kitties. We will definitely be re-booking and as frequent travelers having a trusted long-term sitter that gets to know our house and cats is very important to us so we are beyond happy to have met Andrea!”

“April is amazing and made some new friends! Gave Lilly her meds that she had just received the day before. Managed to get Molly to give up some socks (a task I struggle with!) and and sent Proof of life pics ! I would definitely recommend April”

“Becky is a Doggy sitter SuperStar! She is extremely attentive to my fur babies. She keeps me regularly updated with pics and videos which makes me feel so secure when I am away. We just absolutely love Becky!!! She has a sincere love for pets, I am so thankful we found a responsible and friendly as Becky!”

“Tiffany was great! Our pets had never stayed with anyone except family and she agreed to do a meet and greet with us first to ease our minds. She took everything we said seriously and didn’t make us feel like crazy pet parents! Came back to very happy animals. Will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Erin took care of our dogs at the last minute after our dog sitter canceled on us. She came to visit and meet the dogs. She sent pics of the dogs daily. She took great care of our pups and even bought them a gift. How sweet! We would highly recommend her to stay with your dogs.”

“Allison was truly a blessing and if I ever need this service again, I will absolutely contact her! This was my first time ever leaving for multiple days and our planned sitter (a friend of ours) fell through shortly before our trip. Allison gave us the peace of mind that our dog's would be taken care of. She stayed with them for more time than I had even dared hope for and sent us regular updates. She was transparent, responsible, respectful and kind. Upon our return it was obvious that our dogs missed us but it was also obvious that they had been well cared for and treated with nothing but love and kindness. I can't possibly be even more thankful than I am.”

About: I have had 2 dogs for the last 6 years although one recently passed and have helped out with dogs since I was 16. Not great with cats but could watch it needed. I can administer medication as well as I had to for my dog. Monday and Friday I can use my lunch break for a visit, middle of the week days , I am available after 3, weekends are wide open I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space and our dog cannoli is very very friendly and will love to have a friend. She is up to date with all vaccinations.

“Mikayla stayed with our active Jack Russell for 2 weeks while we were away. I never worried about our pup, knowing that she was being taken care of and played with. Mikayla shared updates and pictures, and answered promptly when I checked in with her. I recommend her without hesitation, we have never been so at ease while away.”

“Elly helped us out in a pinch with our dog, Mike - she came over for a meet and greet prior to and Mike was obviously comfortable with her from the time she walked in. She sent regular photo and text updates and was very clean and conscientious. 100% would recommend Elly for dog and house sitting!”

About: I treat animals as a parent would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and providing the appropriate enforcement for positive behavior and training. I work full-time, yet I make time for evening walks with my dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, I take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. I have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, I do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.
“Kirsten was wonderful. She was prompt and took great care of my dog Shotz. I appreciated the pictures and updates. Shotz seemed to like her as well. I would definitely have her dog sit again!”

“We are so fortunate to have found Kadence. She has a calm, soft demeanor and was unfazed by my fearful Chihuahua barking at her.Once Finn realized that I was leaving he jumped onto her lap and watched me go.That never happens.Kadence sent pictures that assured me that Finn was laying calmly with her.It was a huge relief for me to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family knowing that Finn was in good hands.Kadence is professional and was here when she said she would be.I highly recommend her.I’ve already booked her, again, for a weekend.”

About: I currently dog sit through word of mouth for friends and extended connections, so I’m comfortable caring for different types of dogs and routines. I’m very reliable, attentive, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them attention, I treat every dog like my own and always keep owners updated. I’m a personal trainer, so I create my own schedule and have flexibility during the day. That means I’m able to do walks, check-ins, and spend time with your pet throughout the day, not just mornings or nights. I’m also available evenings and weekends when needed. I always make sure pets are in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific routines.
About: I've taken care of cats all throughout my life, including living with my roommates two cats. I also grew up taking care of an English Springer Spaniel. I would take car of them with walking, playing, feeding, and brushing them. I work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3pm to 3am, so I am available most days of the week as well as early or late check-ins on the weekend! With the cats I live with now, I feed them in separate rooms since one cat can overeat the others food and end up vomiting it back. One gets plenty of pets, and the other prefers to be left alone most of the time. The more social one will also from time to time be let put into our shared hallway to walk outside the apartment. I have had experience with putting cats in carriers including while wearing harnesses.
“I have used Rover for years, and Erin has been by far the best dog sitter I have had the pleasure to work with. She house sat my 14-year-old Yorkie, Molly, for a week. Molly, in addition to being an elderly little one that requires daily oral meds, suffers from separation anxiety. She’s an extremely picky eater that tends to mope around and not eat when I have to go out of town and can’t take her with me. Erin kept my little girl company and was as sweet and kind to her as if she had known Molly for ages! She medicated Molly as instructed, took her for her little old lady slow walks around the yard, and sent me lots of updates and pictures. Erin was not only amazing with my Molly, but she was also very respectful of my house and even offered to wait for me to be home before leaving in case there were any issues with my flights. She genuinely cared for my fur baby, and that meant the world to me.”

“Christine is a fantastic housesitter/petsitter! She took great care of our 14 yr. old Cavalier King Charles. She sent us cute photos of our dog throughout our 6 day vacation. She also kept us abreast of household matters. Upon our return we found the house in order. We recommend her and plan to request her services again!”

“Lindsay is amazing! She watched my two rescue dogs, Penny & Dozer, over the weekend for the first time. Lindsay spent time with me and them before pet sitting since Penny is afraid of new people. My pups had never been pet sat by anyone before and I was so anxious about it. But Lindsay was so understanding and patient with me and them. My pups were so well cared for and she gave me updates during the weekend with pics which really put me at ease. Lindsay watched them at our house and she is so neat and clean that you would have never known she had been there. I already have booked her again and would recommend Lindsay to everyone I know. She truly cares about your pets and knows that they are family. Plus, she understands how nervous us pet mamma’s can be when leaving them with someone new for the first time.”

“I had a last-minute adjustment to my vacation schedule and needed a sitter and found Shayna. She was super flexible and accommodating, and came to meet my dogs and learn their routine the same day! Shayna provided excellent care for my dogs who are anxious and can sometimes be difficult to care for. I would absolutely use her again for overnight services or walking anytime that we are traveling and she is available! Thank you for taking such good care of my girls💙🐶”

About: Hello! My name is Kate and I am in my early 30s. My mother is a veterinarian and I grew up around dogs - both our own family pets and animal hospital patients. Growing up, my family has had several dogs - all labs or lab mixes. I have extensive house-sitting experience for dogs of all sizes/breeds and absolutely love dedicating time to dogs. I have both worked at an animal hospital, and as a full-time dog walker. I am familiar with various leash types and am comfortable walking high-energy dogs, dogs who do not do well with other dogs etc.. I do have experience watching special-needs dogs and I am completely comfortable doing so ! I took a break from Rover while my work schedule was not compatible, but I am excited to be back! I have a Master's degree in Higher Education from Harvard and am currently working as college counselor at a private school. I have summer off, so I can dedicate plenty of time to your pup while you are away on vacation! My boyfriend and I have a dog of our own, Ellie, who is a very sweet doodle-mix. I am more than happy to sit at your home if your pup would not get along with Ellie, and we can always do a meet and greet of the dogs if it would be helpful. During the summer, I only work remotely with private clients as a college counselor, so my schedule is very flexible! I can essentially be with your pet for as many hours as they need - and can really mold my schedule around what works best for you! Dog care is always a priority in my weekly/daily routine - and I love that! If your pup comes to stay here, we tend to take Ellie on several long walks a day, both off-leash and leashed, as long as it is not too hot. We also have a small yard where we often play frisbee, or just let Ellie sniff around while we sit outside. Again, we have a doodle mix named Ellie, who will be turning 6 this summer. She gets along with dogs, but is generally more human-focused. We have a small, mostly fenced yard, as well as several walking trails nearby. My significant other is also a teacher who has the summer off, so your pup/cat will get double the attention!
“Amaiya was amazing! My dog Sasha loves her. She took her on multiple walks throughout her stay and gave her all the love I would normally give her. Amaiya is very communicative as well as shares a bunch of photos so you know your pet is taken care of. I am happy to know my dog is in great hands when I book. Amaiya!!”
