“It is honestly hard to put into words how great an experience I had with Lois without sounding hyperbolic. She was a perfect guardian of my home, my kitties, and my anxious heart. I'd never left my kitties for even a night, and I'd never used a sitting service but was offered the chance to visit my son in the Netherlands for 3 weeks and I couldn't pass it up. I just needed to feel at peace with how I left things at home. Lois was wonderful. She came over early for a meet and greet, and it was immediately obvious she is a kind, intelligent, and gentle person. I have two cats from a horrible hoarding situation who have taken years to feel safe, and they both took to her immediately! My stray, who came to me barely weaned, took a while but even he came around (he is scared of the cars going by the house). She took notes! (Something I always wished people I trained at work would do) Lois and I chatted a bit fairly frequently via a chat app, and she always sent what she called "proof of life" pictures, all of which were so dear. (One was of the kitties waking her up one morning. Such a typical thing in my home, and its normalcy was what made it great. That, and someone just waking up having the presence of mind to grab their phone and record this little domestic scene!) In our chats, just by the way she talked about my kitties it was VERY clear she'd quickly picked up on their personalities, quirks, and needs. The very language she used talking about how they were doing made it obvious she was talking about my kitties, and not just generic kitty language. And she left my home cleaner than I left it for her. While this is not the highest bar (lol) it was so nice to come home after 3 weeks, and an entire day of travel, to a clean, sweet smelling home with clean sheets on the bed! And a bowl of grapes on the counter to snack on (yes, I mentioned grapes and string cheese in our meet and greet. She listened!) I enjoyed Lois. I enjoyed our chats over and above talking about the kitties. She was clearly comfortable and cared about guardianship of my odd, quirky little house. Coming home I would not have known someone stayed here except that my cats were just as happy, fat, and sassy as they were when I left. I would recommend Lois without reservation. I feel like I have added a person in my life that I know I can count on if I need her, and if I ever need someone to care for my kitties it is really nice to know she is there. The comfort and peace she offered while I was on my magical adventure with my son was priceless. Thank you Lois!”

“We went away on a mini honeymoon and Chelsea was amazing! Her previous experience with dogs really shines through. We have two rescue pups and one of them takes longer to warm up to new people. He attention/alert barks out of excitement and protection (which really throws most people off) and She reacted exactly as trainers have reccomended when he barked at her. She was patient and gentle with him and they were best friends after two meets. She sent us lots of pictures of our two goofs and was so good about updates and asking any questions if anything came up. I highly recommend and trust her.”

About: Hi there! My name is Leah and I am a dog walker, dog and cat sitter, and animal lover! I have lots of experience with cats ranging from shelter work to having my own since I was a kid. I have also worked at a doggy daycare! I spend my downtime studying animal behavior and how I can apply that knowledge to any of the pets I work with! I have my diploma in dog grooming and have successfully taken a course in animal CPR/First Aid. I would absolutely love to meet and care for your best furry friend! I am available on most weekends (as marked on calendar). I am also available after 4:30pm on weekdays, as I work full time during the week. If you are located close by, I can do an early morning walk or drop in! I have two kitties, aged 2 and 4 years old! They are both indoor only cats with the exception of supervised time on our balcony.
