About: I've had a number of pets throughout my life that I have taken care of including dogs of all sizes. I hold a special place in my heart for pitbulls as my sweetest girl was a pittie mix. I'm also used to anxious animals and can manage a pet who doesn't appreciate human contact very much. I'm currently in graduate school, looking for work over the summer and hopefully continuing into weekends and evenings once classes begin again. I work part time in senior care. I believe every animal deserves a kind and loving home, regardless or species, breed, or temperament. I approach every animal with respect for their personal space but will happily pet and play with the ones who are comfortable.
“Sorry Im so later with a review .Chelsea did a very good job taking care of Fred ,she gave him his insulin shots twice a day ,did a good job taking care of his food ,water and tray .Sorry you moved I would have you take care of Fred any day .”

“There's nothing like coming home from a day trip to relaxed, happy pups. Danielle always sends pictures, is sensitive to the opposing needs of both my dogs and has even brought in packages! A+”

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and energy levels, I bring a calm, confident, and knowledgeable approach to every pet I care for. From playful family pups to high-drive working and hunting dogs, I’ve trained, handled, and loved them all. My background includes obedience training, socialization, and behavior management, so I understand how to read a dog’s body language and respond to their needs with patience and precision. Whether your pup needs a structured walk, mental stimulation, or just a cozy companion while you're away, I tailor my care to fit their personality and routine. ✔️ Comfortable with large breeds, high-energy dogs, and special needs pets ✔️ Skilled in basic obedience and handling reactive behavior ✔️ Clean, respectful, and communicative—your home and pet are in great hands ✔️ Available for walks, drop-ins, overnights, and extended stays I treat every pet like family and strive to make your time away stress-free and positive for everyone. Let’s chat about how I can help you and your furry friend feel confident and comfortable—can’t wait to meet you both! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—it’s something I truly enjoy and make time for every day. Whether it’s morning walks, training sessions, feeding schedules, or playtime, caring for animals is built into my life. With 15+ years of experience, I’ve developed a rhythm that keeps pets happy, healthy, and calm while their owners are away. I treat each visit or stay as a top priority, making sure every dog gets the attention, structure, and love they’re used to at home. Whether I'm watching one pup or a few, I organize my day around their needs—early walks, midday check-ins, evening wind-downs, and plenty of time for belly rubs and fetch in between! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment that keeps your pet happy and comfortable. In My Home: I keep a clean, pet-friendly space where animals can relax and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any medication or special care instructions. I offer plenty of supervised outdoor time (in a secure area), mental stimulation, and downtime to keep pets balanced and stress-free. In Your Home: I respect your space and your pet’s routine. I make sure your pet gets the same love and structure they’re used to, whether that’s walks, playtime, meals, or snuggles on the couch. I’m tidy, trustworthy, and always communicate so you know how things are going while you're away. No matter where your pet is, I treat them like my own—with patience, kindness, and lots of tail wags.
“Erin is a fantastic sitter. She was incredibly helpful for the two weeks we had her provide drop-in visits for. She communicated well. We loved the pictures and are so glad all three of our cats had such excellent care. She even took our garbage down to the street for trash day which was absolutely above and beyond. We came home to three well cuddled, well-fed, and happy kitties. We would absolutely use her services again in the future.”

“Minnie was great, she came to meet the pups beforehand for an introduction and to get an idea of the pups routine. She was prompt and on time for the scheduled times and interacted great with the pups!”

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs and currently have a dog of my own, so I understand the importance of providing them with patience, exercise, and plenty of attention. I also volunteer at a local dog shelter, where I regularly walk dogs with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and backgrounds. This experience has taught me how to build trust with dogs, safely handle them on walks, and recognize their individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys long adventures, a relaxed stroll, or extra playtime, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own, and my goal is to give both you and your pet a positive, stress-free experience. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full-time and am typically available after 5:00 PM on weekdays, making evenings perfect for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I'm also available on weekends, which allows for more flexible scheduling. I truly enjoy spending my free time with animals, whether it's walking, playing, or simply keeping them company, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I provide plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and regular updates so owners can have peace of mind.
About: Soothing background sounds of classical music, natural light pouring in from the windows, cozy nook beds to curl up, and full attention provided throughout the day and night as needed. Creating a relaxing environment for a dog to feel safe when away from home is exactly what I strive to provide. I value offering predictable routines to significantly reduce anxiety, play time outdoors, puzzle toys for mental stimulation, and meeting your dog's needs in ways that are specific to them. As someone who has provided pet care throughout the last twenty years, and having two dogs myself for the last 5 years, I understand how valuable it is to find a sitter that is reliable, trustworthy, and observant. I will create a plan of care specific to your dog in order to recreate the consistencies of their home life and ensure a comfortable experience. I am a stay at home parent with minimal commitments outside of the home, which makes my schedule very flexible and accommodating. I do have some weekday morning appointments that may require me to leave the house for 1-2 hours. If boarding, I am available for last minute bookings. For dog walking or services that require being out of the home, I will need a few day notice to ensure I am not busy with other clients as I plan to only work with one family at a time. Please note that I have two older children that may accompany me for dog walking and drop in visits, but I will personally be responsible for handling all pet care. I have two friendly dogs who are both crate trained but prefer to roam freely. I keep a gate on the staircase to keep pets on the main level. This is for safety to ensure they are better supervised and not left unattended. My main level is very clear and clutter free. I have a gate on the back deck so the dogs can lounge safely outdoors. I do not have a fenced yard as our dogs are trained to stay within the boundary of the back yard, but I do have a dog play pen attached to the deck in the yard for potty breaks (this was set up to house train my puppy in a more confined area outside). Please let me know preference for your dog being outside as I am happy to take them out on a leash or let them in the play pen area if they aren't jumpers.

About: Looking for someone to care for your pets as well as you do? I have 15 years of experience caring for animals ranging all different sizes, ages, and health needs. I’ve had animals my whole life from dogs, cats, horses, and exotic birds. I am the designated care giver for my friends’ and family’s pets and wanted to give Rover a try to put those skills to more use. I currently have two cats of my own and will not be accepting to board animals in my home at this time, but am more than happy to care for your furry or feathered friends in their current space and make sure they’re exercised, fed, and not missing you too much while you’re away! My rates are all negotiable, please connect with me directly for pricing questions. I look forward to befriending and caring for your pets and keeping them safe for your return home whether it be from a vacation or just from work. I currently work remotely part time during the week and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to drive and visit your pets to care for them. Drop in visits typically take about 15-20 minutes, walking or exercising can be 1-2 hours, and sitting can be booked for multiple days. Since I will be only caring for pets in their own homes, my care is fully personalized and customizable to meet your specific needs and requirements. I am comfortable giving medication to pets and am experienced with reactive and emotionally triggered animals.
“Dalyce is professional and dependable and a very good communicator. Most importantly, she has a great disposition for both my anxious shephard and super mellow senior. Felt very comfortable knowing they were in her care.”

About: I am new to utilizing Rover and am trying to learn the ropes currently. I have grown up around dogs my entire life and have cared for friends dog’s throughout the years (walking, giving baths, lending cuddles, playtime, etc.) but have not taken this into a professional setting yet. I have three sweetie pie pit bulls at home (8 months, 7 years, and 12years old) and love them more than life itself! I have cared for many breeds big and small including a mastiff, chihuahua mixes, many pit bulls, all the colored labs, a border collie, and many more. My goal is to care for your pets as I care for my own and am looking forward to meeting new friends! ***P.S.*** I do not provide care for cats, as I am allergic to them! I have a pretty flexible availability during weekdays with no availability on weekends, as that is when I work at my serving job. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can find work arounds before and after each. I will be sure to update my availability regularly. Feel free to reach out to me anytime with requests, I will be sure to get back to you as soon as possible! I am happy to meet with clients to go over any accommodations or special care requirements, as it is you and your pets’ comfort and trust that is most important. Tell me all the little quirks about your pups, I’d love to know as well as match their energy and needs as best I can!
“We are so happy we found Jodi! Our kitties are very special to us and she took extra care and made sure we were informed of everything and sent photos while we were away. We also loved that she has experience working in vet offices, since two of our babes are senior cats that have some prescriptions that needed to be administered with their food. Our kitties actions say it all, because they usually run and hide at new people and she got them to eat, come out and play and be at ease 💜 We would definitely book Jodi again!”

“Excellent care as always. The kitties were content and well-taken-care-of. I was kept abreast of regular daily activities and any small irregularities. Would definitely recommend and definitely rebook.”

About: I have worked in the pet care industry, specializing in dogs, since 2013. From daycare and boarding to training and behavior modification- from grooming to veterinary care- I have seen it all and worked closely with a wide variety of experts in these fields. For several years, I even owned and ran my own in-home dog training business before deciding to move to the veterinary side- utilizing my years of experience to now help care for the health of people’s beloved dogs- and cats- in as fear free a way as possible. I am very excited to expand to offer walks and nail trims in this format and for the new relationships I will build! I am currently working part-time so I will be looking to fit in walks between my shifts. Currently I am only looking to book walks, drop ins and nail trims. It is always my goal to treat each dog and cat as if it is my own. I focus on being a strong, calm leader for them and providing them with the respect each animal deserves.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Raymond
Minnie is a great resource for cat sitting. We have three cats and one is very skittish. She will run when most people open the door. By the end of the 2nd day, she was sitting with Minnie on the couch allowing her to be pet, it was amazing. Minnie was great when the oldest cat had some kind of episode, possible seizure. Definitely recommended Minnie for taking care of your fur babies.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
