About: Soothing background sounds of classical music, natural light pouring in from the windows, cozy nook beds to curl up, and full attention provided throughout the day and night as needed. Creating a relaxing environment for a dog to feel safe when away from home is exactly what I strive to provide. I value offering predictable routines to significantly reduce anxiety, play time outdoors, puzzle toys for mental stimulation, and meeting your dog's needs in ways that are specific to them. As someone who has provided pet care throughout the last twenty years, and having two dogs myself for the last 5 years, I understand how valuable it is to find a sitter that is reliable, trustworthy, and observant. I will create a plan of care specific to your dog in order to recreate the consistencies of their home life and ensure a comfortable experience. I am a stay at home parent with minimal commitments outside of the home, which makes my schedule very flexible and accommodating. I do have some weekday morning appointments that may require me to leave the house for 1-2 hours. If boarding, I am available for last minute bookings. For dog walking or services that require being out of the home, I will need a few day notice to ensure I am not busy with other clients as I plan to only work with one family at a time. Please note that I have two older children that may accompany me for dog walking and drop in visits, but I will personally be responsible for handling all pet care. I have two friendly dogs who are both crate trained but prefer to roam freely. I keep a gate on the staircase to keep pets on the main level. This is for safety to ensure they are better supervised and not left unattended. My main level is very clear and clutter free. I have a gate on the back deck so the dogs can lounge safely outdoors. I do not have a fenced yard as our dogs are trained to stay within the boundary of the back yard, but I do have a dog play pen attached to the deck in the yard for potty breaks (this was set up to house train my puppy in a more confined area outside). Please let me know preference for your dog being outside as I am happy to take them out on a leash or let them in the play pen area if they aren't jumpers.

About: I've had a number of pets throughout my life that I have taken care of including dogs of all sizes. I hold a special place in my heart for pitbulls as my sweetest girl was a pittie mix. I'm also used to anxious animals and can manage a pet who doesn't appreciate human contact very much. I'm currently in graduate school, looking for work over the summer and hopefully continuing into weekends and evenings once classes begin again. I work part time in senior care. I believe every animal deserves a kind and loving home, regardless or species, breed, or temperament. I approach every animal with respect for their personal space but will happily pet and play with the ones who are comfortable.

About: I have worked in the pet care industry, specializing in dogs, since 2013. From daycare and boarding to training and behavior modification- from grooming to veterinary care- I have seen it all and worked closely with a wide variety of experts in these fields. For several years, I even owned and ran my own in-home dog training business before deciding to move to the veterinary side- utilizing my years of experience to now help care for the health of people’s beloved dogs- and cats- in as fear free a way as possible. I am very excited to expand to offer walks and nail trims in this format and for the new relationships I will build! I am currently working part-time so I will be looking to fit in walks between my shifts. Currently I am only looking to book walks, drop ins and nail trims. About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was four years old. I have been walking, feeding, playing with, and loving dogs for as long as I can remember. I have had three dogs, and each of them were adopted when they were puppies. My first dog, Otis, lived to almost seventeen, so I have much experience caring for puppies and senior dogs. I currently work part time on the weekends, and I will be interning for my master’s degree on Fridays. I will be able to take care of your pets Monday through Thursday. If I am watching your pets at your home, I will be able to feed them, play with them, take them outside, and take them for walks. I also have experience giving dogs and cats oral medicine if that is needed.
