About: Since I was a young girl I was always the family remember in charge of making sure our pets were fed, entertained, trained and given exercise. Around the age of 10 was my first time watching over our neighbors new puppy as they went on vacation. At the time I was nervous but my energetic energy matched the puppy perfectly. Currently i’m renting an apartment at my college UNH with my cat and a roommate. My neighbors who have pets continuously asked me to watch them because of how much time and energy I put into carrying for them. Sometimes I only watch them for the day when work or school takes over and other for extended periods of time. If this becomes the case I make sure to walk and entertained the pet so that they don’t feel lonely. Cat sitting in house is my most common form of cat sitting. Cats and dogs have very different needs from a sitter that I can provide with my years of experience working and owning my own pets I’m currently on summer break until August so my availability to spend time with your fur babies is very open. Keeping in mind that it is still my break there will be times in which I wish to fully experience my summer :) If there is a fenced in yard or not, I still plan to take pups on daily leash walks to ensure safety of the both of us. Ultimately whatever the client feels most comfortable and confident with I will ensure to use those methods. This can include crate use, specific walk routes, specific animal preferences and more.

About: I am new to utilizing Rover and am trying to learn the ropes currently. I have grown up around dogs my entire life and have cared for friends dog’s throughout the years (walking, giving baths, lending cuddles, playtime, etc.) but have not taken this into a professional setting yet. I have three sweetie pie pit bulls at home (8 months, 7 years, and 12years old) and love them more than life itself! I have cared for many breeds big and small including a mastiff, chihuahua mixes, many pit bulls, all the colored labs, a border collie, and many more. My goal is to care for your pets as I care for my own and am looking forward to meeting new friends! ***P.S.*** I do not provide care for cats, as I am allergic to them! I have a pretty flexible availability during weekdays with no availability on weekends, as that is when I work at my serving job. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can find work arounds before and after each. I will be sure to update my availability regularly. About: I've had a number of pets throughout my life that I have taken care of including dogs of all sizes. I hold a special place in my heart for pitbulls as my sweetest girl was a pittie mix. I'm also used to anxious animals and can manage a pet who doesn't appreciate human contact very much. I'm currently in graduate school, looking for work over the summer and hopefully continuing into weekends and evenings once classes begin again. I work part time in senior care. I believe every animal deserves a kind and loving home, regardless or species, breed, or temperament. I approach every animal with respect for their personal space but will happily pet and play with the ones who are comfortable.

About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.

“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: I am currently a student at UNH, missing my pets back home. Getting outside and walking some pups never fails to brighten my day. Taking care of animals always makes the time away from my best furry friends back home go by much faster while relieving school stress, too! Currently, over the summer I’m super flexible and able to accommodate! Just let me know what you need and I’m sure I’ll be able to provide! I am able to do any day of the week and am very dedicated and knowledgeable about all sorts of animals because my sister is a zoologist and animal psychologist and one of my best friends is a dog groomer; it’s impossible to get away from their fun facts and information, but you won’t hear me complaining about that! I’ve pet sat and walked dogs many times with them and they’ve taught me what to do in any situation that may arise. I will follow provided instructions and send updates/pictures if wanted! I always supply plenty of water for walks and love trying out new trails and walking ones I know— college woods at UNH have great trails for dog walking. I am flexible to any preferences!

About: Animal lover with a passion for caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Reliable, patient, and attentive, with a focus on keeping pets safe, active, and happy on every walk. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of time to cuddle and take care of your pets! My availability is wide open! Limited weekend hours. My home isn't pet friendly as my cats don't like friends. So any pet watching would have to be at your house or outside or another location.

About: I currently work as a kennel attendant at a boarding facility, caring for dogs every day. Before that, I worked on a farm looking after horses, rabbits, ducks, geese, and chickens. I’ve also owned and cared for reptiles (like monitor lizards, chameleons, and geckos) and amphibians (frogs, axolotls, and turtles. My services are limited on a first come first served basis. I do have a full time job but will always make caring for animals my priority I will follow any and all instructions you give me to care for your pet just has you do or if you’d like your fur baby to be a little bit spoiled, I can do that too :)

About: I started out dog walking about the age of 10, I have always had a passion for animals since I was young. My career with animals then started in doggy daycare as a teen, and I then moved up to a vet receptionist and made my way to a vet tech which I have been doing for 6 years now. I love all animals greatly and I am looking for more jobs to be around them. I currently work at my vet hospital Monday - Friday until 3pm so I am looking for part time weekend jobs. Willing to work around different hours during the day on the weekends. I myself have two cats, and one dog I am experienced caring for them in home settings and Hospital settings with my career as a vet tech and very experienced with keeping them safe, fed and loved! I also have experience giving medications and feedings and leash walks.
