“Jason took great care of Bristle. She has had a history of hissing and hiding from sitters, which has made it difficult to safely ensure she takes her seizure medication. With time and patience, Bristle came right out and felt comfortable enough to take her pill in her food and was even seeking out affection at the end of the third visit. I definitely feel she was in good hands with someone who understood her needs and let her set her own pace. We will be booking again soon!”

“Alyssa is absolutely wonderful. I have a new puppy...and have to work. Alyssa stops in midday to check in on him. She goes above and beyond. Not only does she care for and play with him, but she also takes the time to help reinforce his training. Hank and I think Alyssa is the best!”

“Olivia was hired to let my pup out. She went above and beyond. My guy has some barking and nervous behaviors. I can't believe the positive impact she has had on Sammy. I highly recommend her. He went from disliking 98% of men, to taking a biscuit out of a man's hand! The barking has hugely improved. He gets all excited when I mention her name and dances around . Olivia is always on time, thoughtful, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and one of a kind. I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed, neither will you fur baby/ babies.”

“Kate is doing an amazing job with our 10 year old Boston Terrier. Kate is flexible, reliable, kind, caring and has the most genuine personality. We feel blessed that Kate has agreed to provide drop by visits / walks mid-day for our four-legged kiddo on a weekly schedule. We are also excited to utilize her overnight services in her home when we are away and can’t take our dog with us. We look forward to continue booking with Kate and highly recommended her pet sitting services.”

“We are very happy to say that Jarrod was responsible with Pepprel’s care and schedule. When need be, we will not hesitate to call on him again.”

“Tami’s love for cats and her sense of responsibility came together for a wonderful experience. I could tell from the photos she sent that Kallie and Maia were happy. I will definitely book her services for any future travels.”

“Chloe was the best with my dog Benny! It was my first time using Rover and she knocked it out of the park. She had to deal with Benny being benny and she faced it like a champ. So thankful for her and how communicative she was throughout the whole process. I will definitely be having Chloe help with benny anytime I leave next!”

About: I grew up in a house that always had multiple dogs and multiple cats, and couldn’t imagine living any other way! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, who I consider my children (no human children). All my love is poured into my fur babies, and while they are needy and have 0 concept of personal space, they love hard and are incredibly welcoming to all our visitors, human and fur alike! I foster puppies and small dogs through Pope Memorial animal shelter in Dover, so I have a lot of experience with bathroom training and crate training if needed. I recently left the corporate world, and couldn’t think of anything more rewarding than spending time with my fur babies, and helping other fur parents take care of their little loves. I’m home all week, with exceptions for weekly tasks (ie grocery shopping). I have a fenced in portion of the yard that I use specifically for my dogs, there is an entrance to the fenced in yard from the house so there is no unsafe transition to get them from the house to the yard where they could pull or run away. My dogs are allowed on furniture and on my bed, but I also have several dog crates available if a visitor prefers sleeping alone. I have 2 male cats, who act more like dogs. They snuggle with my dogs and get along great with all puppies and small dogs who visit! On rainy days when outside play is hard, I like to take our dogs to the Foxrun mall, where they allow dogs on leashes! It’s a great way to socialize them and get some exercise. I only take one animal per trip, so most of the time this requires multiple trips, but everyone is always so happy and tuckered out afterwards!

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry! FaceTime, texts and consistent communication is what makes me your best choice! Former special educator, patience is my virtue! I’m a social worker, regular hours so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting some getaway time. I have occasional availability during weeknights as well. Primarily, I can come to your house for care. Occasionally, happily ready to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected gluten free diets as well.

“Highly recommend Craig! My dog absolutely loves him, and I trust him. My dog always has fun and I get cute pictures too and he's s always on time”

About: I have experience working with small to xl dogs, young to old. I have been caring for pets for 6 years, 1 of which I was also working in boarding at an animal hospital and gained experience administering medication. I have spent a lot of time with socially anxious and separation anxiety dogs and learned a lot about patience with their needs. For the past year and a half, I worked at a dog board and train facility where I spent my time taking care of a variety of breeds and temperaments including aggression and resource guarding. I have the most experience with high energy breeds including German Shepard Dogs and Belgian Malignois. I am confident in my dog handling skills and behavioral challenges that come my way. I am a full time college student so most of my time is filled with classes. A few days a week I am done early so I will have time to care for your pet and love them just as you would. I do not provide in home care. In your home I would love to play with your fur baby and spend time with them while you’re away. I can tailor to your needs to make sure your pet has their needs met.

About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

About: I have had all different kinds of animals in my life, including dogs, cats, ferrets, farm animals, reptiles, and more. I've taken care of animals ranging from senior dogs to newborn kittens and I've given them all the love that they need. I am available almost any day and time of day! Feel free to take a look at my calendar for my availability! I can't wait to take care of your furry friend(s). I am welcome to help your furry friend in any way you need. I will keep an open line of communication and send plenty of photos so you have the peace of mind knowing your best friend(s) are happy and healthy.

About: I've always had family pets, and had an integral role in caring for them: walking and running with my dog, feeding my dog and cats, and maintaining a fish tank. I also have volunteered at the NH SPCA and have had opportunities to work with the animals under their care. I currently work part-time with flexibile hours. I am entering my sophomore year in college this August and am looking to work part-time animal care on Rover! I have flexible availability and there are not certain days which do not work for me. Building a trusting relationship with your pet matters to me! I want your animal to feel safe with me, and I'm willing to necessary take steps to ensure this! I live an active lifestyle and am willing to walk, run, or hike with your pup, for longer or shorter distances (whatever will make your furry friend the happiest :)).

About: I’ve owned my own dog walking/sitting business. I have 4 years of experience training dogs, including my own. I’ve looked after many different breeds and ages of dogs from newborn puppies to senior pups. I love dogs and am willing to put in the utmost effort to make sure they are loved and properly taken care of. Currently, I am available at any time after 4pm and all day Thursdays and Fridays. I am new to the area and I’m hoping to create a schedule with new clients. I will get the animal settled making sure they have food and water. For exercise play with some toys or a walk/hike. And of course making sure they get all the pets and treats they need.

“Kiley was an excellent sitter for our dog! Kiley was very communicative, provided daily updates, and was just a joy to work with. Our family strongly recommends Kiley for any pet watching needs.”

About: I combine patience, experience, and genuine affection for pets of all kinds. Whether it’s an energetic pup, a gentle senior, or a shy cat, I adapt to meet their needs and make them feel at home. Taking care of pets is part of my regular routine. I like to get outside and stay active by walking and running dogs, and I make sure to spend quality time giving pets the attention and love they deserve. It’s something I enjoy and look forward to fitting into my days. I prioritize safety and comfort above all when caring for pets. Whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming pets into mine, I will make sure the environment is clean, secure, and pet-friendly. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide and keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior to ensure they’re happy and safe at all times. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me, so I communicate openly and am responsive to any needs or concerns.

About: I’ve spent my whole life around furry friends and miss the joy and connection they bring. I’ve been walking and watching my neighbors cats and dogs for most of my life. I’ve become well trained in administering medications and deep cleaning litter boxes. I’ve mastered all basic skills needed for caring for our friends I’m currently a student but that doesn’t mean I don’t have plenty of time to hang out with your cats and dogs! I’m quite the homebody so when I’m not in class I love to be in my dorm. I also have large gaps between my classes meaning I can definitely take them out/on walks throughout the entire day! I will follow any rules you have around your home as I do not want to disrupt your space. When it comes to taking care with animals I believe that communication with the owner is key (along with sending update photos of their furry friends so they can see they’re doing well!) When taking care of an animal they are my top priority rain or shine.

“Sunny was great! She kept us aware of any issues and made sure our dogs were well taken care of while we were away!”

About: Hi everyone, my name is Alex, I am a 21-year-old college student playing for the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team. I grew up in southern Maine with my parents and brother and we have never not had a dog in the house. When I was born we had Duncan and Seneca, in fifth grade we got Mac, who was a lot of my responsibility until I left for college. Waking up to let him out, feed him, clean up after him, exercise and training. You name it and I have done it, I take huge pride in the way I treat animals and learning to live with them my entire life has given me a huge sense of love and responsibility towards pets. I started to watch my neighbors dogs and cats at around 12 years old and have wished I could do it for an actual job ever since. I am in school currently studying Nutrition and I have a 20 hour a week soccer commitment. Because of this I am very organized and a clear communicator, these are two of my strengths so please always feel free to reach out and see when I'm available. I am so excited to be here! Back in Durham NH!! Currently in school + practice hours (20 a week). Please still feel free to reach out and see when im available! Very good at following specific instructions for dogs, very fit lifestyle allows me to give dogs plenty of exercise if need be. I have trained and walked many dogs off lease and on, very comfortable with all harnesses, collars and electric fence options. Comfortable crating dog if need be, comfortable cleaning and cleaning up after pets.

Marion H.
“I've known Marion Hess for almost two years. She is a dog lover! When Marion offered her availability to take care of dogs when she was home from college on breaks, on our town's local facebook page. I contacted her, and she started walking our black lab mix rescue dog Chloe. She not only walks Chloe, she plays with her and takes her on walks on our town's trails. Chloe is always ecstatic to see her and runs to Marion's car to jump in. Having interacted with Marion many times since the spring of 2022, I can say without reservation that she is extremely well-qualified to take care of dogs. She is also a great communicator, prompt, reliable and of course, kind. It's been my pleasure (and Chloe's) to know Marion. We look forward to seeing her, as usual, when she is home on breaks from college. Sincerely, Beth Butler”

Sarah was amazing - great at communicating & sent great pix! I felt very comfortable w/her walking my pups throughout the day!!

Kiley was great with Gabby. Gabby can be a little nervous with new people but Kiley was patient and sat with Gabby to help her warm up to her. Very happy with Kiley’s drop in services.

Dale did a great job with Luna in building a relationship with her and playing with her. She was right on top of things when my cat Kashi suddenly had a seizure for the first time. She contacted me right away after staying with Kashi until the seizure ended. We’re very happy to have Dale take care of our pets.
