About: I have spent lots of time with elderly dogs and cats, and I love ensuring they have the consistent care they need while their humans are away. I have also worked with young pets who are house or litter box training. I also love fish, rodents, and reptiles! About: Since I was a young girl I was always the family remember in charge of making sure our pets were fed, entertained, trained and given exercise. Around the age of 10 was my first time watching over our neighbors new puppy as they went on vacation. At the time I was nervous but my energetic energy matched the puppy perfectly. Currently i’m renting an apartment at my college UNH with my cat and a roommate. My neighbors who have pets continuously asked me to watch them because of how much time and energy I put into carrying for them. Sometimes I only watch them for the day when work or school takes over and other for extended periods of time. If this becomes the case I make sure to walk and entertained the pet so that they don’t feel lonely. Cat sitting in house is my most common form of cat sitting. Cats and dogs have very different needs from a sitter that I can provide with my years of experience working and owning my own pets I’m currently on summer break until August so my availability to spend time with your fur babies is very open. Keeping in mind that it is still my break there will be times in which I wish to fully experience my summer :) If there is a fenced in yard or not, I still plan to take pups on daily leash walks to ensure safety of the both of us. Ultimately whatever the client feels most comfortable and confident with I will ensure to use those methods. This can include crate use, specific walk routes, specific animal preferences and more.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life; dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and bunnies. I’m good at directions and I’ll make sure that your fur-baby is taken care of the way you want. I’m attending UNH full-time while being participating in athletics. I’m looking to make a few extra bucks in between the times that I’m not studying, attending class, or working out. I currently have two cats back home. I always make sure they have fresh food and water, I play and cuddle with them. About: My earliest memory was of adopting my first dog, a Weimaraner we named Halle. Since then, caring for dogs has been a staple part of my life. Few things are as exciting to me as meeting a new dog and learning all about their habits. I've sitted small and medium sized dogs of neighbors and family members for the last 10 years or so. I can handle dogs of any age, but I have lots of experience with senior dogs. Additionally, I've been trained by a veterinarian to supply IV fluids as well as administer other kinds of medication effectively such as pills or liquids. If your pet needs this extra care, I can provide it. I work remotely, so I can spend my work days keeping your dog company while you are away. I am unavailable Monday evenings, but otherwise I am available for drop ins any day of the week. Making your dog feel comfortable and safe is my top priority task. The second most important task is being respectful of my client's property while caring for pets in their home. I know the anxious feeling of leaving your pet with someone else, so I will strive to earn your trust so you can focus on enjoying your time out of town. Additionally, I always perform leash/collar checks to ensure they are securely fastened.
About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken care of my own dogs as well as friends and neighbors. I have experience with labs, golden retrievers, German shepherds, Rottweilers, and pit bulls mostly but love all dogs. I currently work full time Monday-Friday but would love to help people with walking their pets/letting them out after work or on the weekends. About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

I hired Tami for a short, albeit somewhat higher-need visit for my two cats. One of the cats had simple needs, but the other needed daily medication and monitoring of a wound. I hired Tami specifically because she advertised herself as a vet tech, so I felt comfortable that she would take care of these needs. I would have normally canceled my trip, but it was for work, so I couldn't Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Tami after this experience. When I came home, a few things were not in the condition I would have liked. The litter boxes were half empty and not very clean, despite leaving a brand new bag of litter out on the counter. This was especially bothersome because one of my cats had an open wound on his leg that was healing. One of my cats' water bowls was nearly empty, even though it was a large fountain and she had just been there earlier in the day. However, my real issue came when my roommate mentioned that Tami did not seem to stay for very long. This prompted me to check my security cameras, and I realized that she fabricated all of her visit cards in all but one. The most egregious was a visit when she claimed to be present for the full 30 minutes, but actually only stayed for 9 minutes. This is barely enough time to give my cat his medicine and put food in his bowl, let alone tend to two cats, clean litterboxes, and give them a little attention. I paid Tami for two cats, and I was told she never interacted with or did anything for my second cat (who did not need the medication). In total, during a 3-day booking, Tami claimed to be present for a total of 45 minutes that she was not actually there.
