About: I've had a variety of pets throughout my life, including dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, sugar gliders and right now I currently have a chinchilla. I love all animals, and am always up for helping family/friends with their pets if needed. Just finished my first booking through Rover & Tricia was my chosen provider. While my 2 cats do not require medication or any complicated feeding regimens, one of them is quite sensitive and changes to her routine can engender defensiveness. At our meet-n-greet, I was very surprised & pleased when both cats strode up to Tricia to greet her & get pets. She took notes on my furry babies' personalities, preferences and usual routines. Throughout the 11 days of the care agreement, Tricia was prompt, communicative, gracious and accommodating. SO much so that, in making future plans to be away, I expect to consult her schedule before finalizing travel!
Maria was wonderful! This is our first time using Rover and leaving our dog Luna with someone other than friends and family. Luna was well taken care of and was so happy to see her each time she came. She even watered my flowers that were wilting on the table!

Yujie has been doing regular weekly drop-in visits for our two dogs, and he’s been amazing. He’s very attentive, communicative, and responds quickly. He’s truly gone above and beyond to care for my dogs while I’m working. My dogs, Arnold and Rico, absolutely love Yujie, and he always sends us great pictures during his visits. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they have a caring, reliable person spending time with them during the day—playing with them and giving them potty breaks. I would highly recommend Yujie for anyone looking for pet care!
Wendy was wonderful in taking care of our cat while we were gone for Christmas. She sent multiple pictures each day, stayed with Maggie longer than the minimum time to comfort and support her, and properly fed and watered her. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
