Because I work in education, weeknights and late afternoons work the best for me as well as mornings and weekends. I do not have a flexible workday schedule I’m in at 8 and out at 4 therefore day time breaks are hard for me to attend to.

I currently have 2 very mellow indoor cats in my home. When I am dog sitting in my house I keep the cats confined in one room and allow the dog I have with me space in the house to get comfortable. I also have access to walking trails and live in a very dog friendly neighborhood.

Information Ivy P. would like to know about your pet
It’s useful to know what your pets bedtime routine is and how often you leave them alone on a typical day. If they are crate trained, if they have any supplements, allergies or sensitivities, if they get along with other dogs and what they like to do are also important factors.
A typical day
On a full day of caretaking, the first thing I do is let dogs out, feed breakfast, make sure that they take any medications and refill water bowls. For cats, I clean litter boxes first thing so they are clean all day. I like to take dogs that are in good health on a big run or walk. After our walk I’ll leave them inside then take them out again around lunch time for fetch, backyard play, another walk or time at the dog park. Before bed, I make sure that all animals have gone out one last time, that they have been fed and ensure that water is clean and accessible.

Pet care experience
I love animals and have horse sat, cat sat and dog watched for family friends and relatives on numerous occasions. I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and I currently live in Dover with my indoor cats. I'm super active and love the outdoors. My family owns three high energy rescued border collies and I've always lived with at least 2-5 animals in the same house. I’m comfortable walking or running with multiple dogs at once. In my past experience and depending on each pets current routine and owners preferences, I usually take dogs on runs or walks around their neighborhood, feed to their current schedule and make sure they recieve their supplements or special medications, make sure they have access to clean water and clean litter boxes, making sure that pups goes outside even for a little before I leave and if accidents happen, cleaning them up and reporting them to to owners immediately.

Ivy is so caring a communicative..she provided excellent care for my cats, especially my elderly kitty!
Took great care of my cat

Ivy was amazing with Milah! Milah really likes being with her. She kept us up to date the whole time, sent pictures and followed all care instructions. She also took great care of our house while we were away. We'll definitely be using Ivy again in the future.
Ivy responded promptly and was more than patient in listening to all of the special needs my pup has. She is kind and energetic, and I look forward to her help on a regular basis.
