About: I am a caring and responsible animal lover with many years of hands-on experience. For over 7 years, I regularly helped my neighbor take care of her dogs — including daily walks, feeding, companionship, and sometimes looking after multiple dogs at once. I have also had pets my entire life, including cats, a dog, and small animals like hamsters. This has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, patience, and the importance of routine and safety. I am currently available full-time and can provide constant care and attention. About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

About: I've always had a natural connection with dogs since childhood. Dogs have always gravitated to my calm energy and ability to sense their needs. Your dog will not just be taken care of but will feel safe like they're spending time with an old friend. Retired computer nerd and musician available for dog walking and house visits most days of the week. Some dogs are welcome in our home with fenced in yard and 5 y.o. yellow lab Norma for playtime and companionship. My wife and I live in a wooded area in York with a large fenced in back yard. We are both retired and home most of the day to keep an eye on the pups. I am available for long or short visits to your home for dog walks and exercise to suite your needs. I am an avid walker and walk daily. I am fully insured with pet sitting/walking insurance.

About: Growing up, we always had a dog or two and cats in the house. Each one, a member of the family that are loved and spoiled. I now have a year and a half old English chocolate lab named Errol and two cats, Pepper and Chester who are 12 and 6 years old. I have two teenage daughters, and my youngest works for a dog training and daycare taking care of dogs. Our family loves our pets and I and am excited to share that love with yours! I work full time from home 8:30 am-5:00 pm. I have limited time mid day that I use to do drop-in visits and short walks, and am otherwise available before or after my shift. I work full time from home during the day and my best general availability on the weekends. I can certainly make arrangements for mid day visits or care for a dog at my home during the day. I am always happy to rearrange things, even during the week to meet your family’s needs. I have a large yard and a chocolate lab of my own to keep your dog company. We live to play outside, for walks in the woods, and run around the yard playing in the doggy pool. For more adventurous dogs with some woody experience, our property is on the Lamprey River with access to play and swim.

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals! I grew up on a farm with lots of animals - dogs, cats, goats, horses, rabbits, chickens, pigs... I've also informally pet sat for friends and neighbors with dogs and/or cats in the past. I've been a cat mom in the past, but I don't have a pet of my own right now. For dog walking, my work from home job allows me some flexibility to stop by and take your pup for a stroll! I can do earlier mornings, a lunch time walk on some days, and evening walks after 5pm. For doggy daycare, I work from home full time at a desk job - if my day is "busy" it just means I had a few more zoom calls than usual. I would absolutely be able to take time to provide potty breaks and maybe a walk around the neighborhood when the weather is good. I live on a main street in town, but there's also a nice quiet neighborhood right behind me with minimal traffic, perfect for a quick walk. I do travel three or four times a year for my job, generally for 3-5 days each time, but I'd be able to give you at least a couple of months advanced notice for those trips - they are never last minute! For doggy daycare, I don't smoke and I have plenty of space for your pup to hang out during the day so they don't feel cooped up - including a wrap around enclosed porch that I can keep secure, and a tall privacy-fenced back yard/garden area. While the yard is fenced, I do get birds and other critters roaming through, and I have a flower garden that could have some toxic plants for over-curious dogs. Because of that, I would not to leave them alone outside, but take those breaks with them. My house does have a fairly steep flight of stairs, so a dog without joint pain or struggles going up and down multiple times a day would be most comfortable. I do have lots of houseplants and some could be toxic - so again, if your dog tends to be curious and take a bite out of plants, I may not be the best fit for you.

About: I've been watching my neighbors dog along with cats and dogs of friends and family for 12 years now. I only work part time now and make my own hours so I have a ton of flexibility in my schedule. I love all animals and want to provide you with stress free pet care. I enjoy walks and work remote so I can fit your pet's needs into my schedule. I have 2 friendly cats and did have a Siberian Husky for over 16 years who crossed over last year. I love walking dogs and do have a small yard and live on a nice walkable street.
