“We left our Cooper (very last minute!) with Jennifer these past 3 days, and felt as if we left him with Family! Jennifer was so attentive to Cooper and every few hours she sent us pictures of him. It was truly a most wonderful experience, and Jennifer was a loving, caring and thoughtful host! So much gratitude to her and her beautiful family!!”

“Ashley is amazing! She went above and beyond to help us board Georgia in a pinch, and made sure she was well taken care of. Awesome option for daycare or overnight boarding. Would recommend to anyone.”

“Michelle did an excellent job. She kept me up to date with photos and messages for the 10+ days she was taking care of my dog. I felt totally at ease leaving my dog with her. Would definitely use her again!”

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry. I’m a teacher/social worker by trade, so I’m patient, kind and caring. Special needs or requests are not an issue. My consistent communication and caring for your pets as my own is what makes me your best choice! I’m a social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting time away. Occasionally available weeknights for walks or drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually more available. I generally prefer boarding in my home and my routine is planned around your babies. Their needs are my priority! Happy to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, but-I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected meat-based, gluten free and hypoallergenic diets as well. Only one dog (family) at a time.
“Lance and Collette’s family are very Responsible, flexible, and friendly. Our slightly anxious, excitable doodle Sam Seems to always have a good time with them and we’re planning to drop them off again a couple more times this summer. recommended!!”

“Jeanne gives my doggies a lot of exercise & fun with other pups! There are 2 large fenced in areas for them to play & they always seem so content in the picture updates!”
“Karen is experienced and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable leaving Tucker with her for our vacation. She communicated well while we were gone and sent pictures. Would recommend her for anyone. Our tuck can be a handful but she said she’d welcome him back. Very pleased with his experience at casa de Karen :)”

“We were in a pinch & had to leave our cat Sam to stay overnight while we went out of town for a funeral & Beth really helped us out last minute! Affordable price, & she sent lots of updates! When I picked up my sweet boy he was very happy. 10/10 recommend Beth!!”

“Katie was great with our lab Oscar! We went away for a long weekend and she treated him like her own. It was wonderful knowing he was in great hands and having a good time.”

“Veska and her family took such wonderful care of Bo! We could see from her daily (and often multiple per day) photos and updates that he was as happy and as comfortable as he is at home. Veska truly cared for him like he was one of her own pets. We will definitely be booking with Veska again which, I’m sure Bo will be thrilled about!”

“Kelsey was very accommodating of my dog Nemo, who isn't always a fan of other dogs, so she made sure he was the only dog staying with her at the time! She was very communicative as well and sent many photos, which was much appreciated. I definitely recommend Kelsey to care for your pets while you are away!”

“Katelyn is excellentI Highly recommend. This was our first experience using Rover and it could not have gone better. She took excellent care of our two lab pups. Communication was great sending updates and pictures throughout their stay with Katelyn.”

“Kelly took excellent care of my dog while I was away for the weekend, and she was so communicative and kept me totally up to date. She was also so patient when my pup unfortunately had an upset tummy! Thank you Kelly!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dover
Leaving Josie with Wendy and her family takes away any guilt I might have about leaving Josie behind when I travel, because it’s just as much a vacation for her as me! They are absolutely wonderful with her and I trust their care. I feel so fortunate to have found Wendy on Rover!
Evan is my go-to doggy daycare / overnight sitter in town! He and his girlfriend are so good with my house hippo. She mostly just snoozes while he works from home, which is her absolute ideal scenario. They also keep me posted with great photo updates and check in if there's an incoming storm or any other concerns. Highly recommend!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Veronica and Nathan. This was the first time I had ever left Phoebe for an extended period, and I was understandably a bit apprehensive. From the very beginning, Veronica and Nathan put me completely at ease. Phoebe took to them immediately, which speaks volumes, and she was also wonderfully comfortable with their sweet dog, Ruby. It was clear that she felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Veronica sent frequent updates, photos, and messages, and I never once had to worry about how Phoebe was doing. Their warmth, attentiveness, and obvious love for dogs made this such a positive experience — for both Phoebe and me. I would trust them again in a heartbeat and feel incredibly grateful to have found such thoughtful, caring sitters. Highly, highly recommend.

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
