“Kane and Colette took amazing care of Lottie for a weekend while I was away. They were very accommodating with the timing of drop-off and pick-up, which helped me with my crazy schedule. Lottie came back happy and healthy! I will absolutely be using them again in the future! Thank you”

About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.
“Katie has been watching Daisy for several years for us in the summer, we went to CO over Christmas and booked with Katie. This time Katie also sat our cat. My animals come home happy, clean and feed. Being able to count on someone to care for my babies is so important to me, my husband and I feel like we are leaving them with family.”

“Michelle did an excellent job. She kept me up to date with photos and messages for the 10+ days she was taking care of my dog. I felt totally at ease leaving my dog with her. Would definitely use her again!”

“I had a great experience boarding my dog, Loki, with Noreen! She’s kind, professional, and kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout his stay. Loki had a blast and came home happy and well-cared-for. Noreen truly loves animals, and I felt confident leaving him with her. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be booking again!”
“Kelly took excellent care of my dog while I was away for the weekend, and she was so communicative and kept me totally up to date. She was also so patient when my pup unfortunately had an upset tummy! Thank you Kelly!”

“I’m beyond happy to have found Evan on this app. He was absolutely amazing. Our whole camping trip I received photos and updates that made me feel so much better about leaving Ranger (for the first time ever). I can’t thank him enough for taking such good care and spoiling my pup! Will definitely be using Evan to watch Ranger in the future! Highly recommend!!”

“They were AMAZING. Sent us cute photos and videos throughout. I can tell our dog Lucy had a great time. They were also very polite and kind the entire time. We've booked with them prior as well with the same experience.”

“Veska and her family are wonderful people. My dog enjoyed his visit and Veska was more than understanding of our delay picking up. She kept my dog one more night without a problem and sent me pictures that she captured of my dog looking happy, comfortable and feeling right at home ! Will definitely be my first choice the next time I leave town.”

“Teddy had a great time with Nicole! We really appreciated the daily photo updates and felt very comfortable knowing that he was in good hands. We will definitely be rebooking with Nicole again.”

“Mike did an excellent job watching over our dog and sending me updates while we were away on vacation. He made us feel very comfortable leaving a family member behind and not worrying about if they would be ok Highly recommend”

“Tombstone had a wonderful time boarding with Diamond! He was happily tired after his time there. Diamond was great with sending pictures and updates. Will definitely rebook!”

“Kellie was absolutely wonderful with Barley! He has separation anxiety, so we’re always a little nervous leaving him, but Kellie put us completely at ease. She was so sweet and attentive with him, she even took him to the pet store and got him bones and toys to keep him happy. You can tell she and her husband genuinely love love love dogs; their home was beautiful and clearly set up for dogs to feel comfortable and cared for. Thanks to Kellie, we got to actually relax on our trip knowing Barley was in the best hands. Highly, highly recommend her. we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry. I’m a teacher/social worker by trade, so I’m patient, kind and caring. Special needs or requests are not an issue. My consistent communication and caring for your pets as my own is what makes me your best choice! I’m a social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting time away. Occasionally available weeknights for walks or drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually more available. I generally prefer boarding in my home and my routine is planned around your babies. Their needs are my priority! Happy to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, but-I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected meat-based, gluten free and hypoallergenic diets as well. Only one dog (family) at a time.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Dover is $60
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dover
Leaving Josie with Wendy and her family takes away any guilt I might have about leaving Josie behind when I travel, because it’s just as much a vacation for her as me! They are absolutely wonderful with her and I trust their care. I feel so fortunate to have found Wendy on Rover!
Evan is my go-to doggy daycare / overnight sitter in town! He and his girlfriend are so good with my house hippo. She mostly just snoozes while he works from home, which is her absolute ideal scenario. They also keep me posted with great photo updates and check in if there's an incoming storm or any other concerns. Highly recommend!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Veronica and Nathan. This was the first time I had ever left Phoebe for an extended period, and I was understandably a bit apprehensive. From the very beginning, Veronica and Nathan put me completely at ease. Phoebe took to them immediately, which speaks volumes, and she was also wonderfully comfortable with their sweet dog, Ruby. It was clear that she felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Veronica sent frequent updates, photos, and messages, and I never once had to worry about how Phoebe was doing. Their warmth, attentiveness, and obvious love for dogs made this such a positive experience — for both Phoebe and me. I would trust them again in a heartbeat and feel incredibly grateful to have found such thoughtful, caring sitters. Highly, highly recommend.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
