“This was our first time boarding our new puppy (13 weeks old) and we were nervous but Mercis was so wonderful and met with us and our pup ahead of time so we felt very comfortable before we left our littlest family member for the long weekend. “Five stars is not enough! We left Chewbacca with Karen for a few days this week. Chewbacca has various specific needs, including oral medication and prescription diet, and he gets very nervous when first dropped off. We have never had such a strong sense of peace of mind with a dog sitter as we did this weekend. Karen was extremely communicative, updated us through text and pictures throughout the day, and always made sure to go the extra mile so Chewbacca felt safe and cared for. Our family friend who watches her was away and Joseph was quick to respond with a meet and greet request before booking. Vanessa is wonderful! She watched our dog for over a week and sent us pictures and videos every day of his stay! She gave him toys to play with, frequent walks, bones to chew and her own dog to play with! And, when our flight home was delayed by 6 hours, she was super gracious and kept him an extra night without any issues. She’s very friendly, kind and a true dog person. I highly recommend her!!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience having Irene and her husband watch Cooper for a full week! From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he was in wonderful hands. Irene was attentive, communicative, and genuinely caring — treating Cooper like one of her own. What really stood out was a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture: she noticed Cooper’s leash was worn out and bought him a brand new one, without us even asking. That kind of initiative and attention to detail says everything about the level of care she provides. We came home after a week away to a happy, well-loved pup and couldn’t recommend Irene more highly.
