About: I’ve always been an animal lover! I’ve had lots of experience, especially with my own dogs! Always super observant as well with all animals and will look out with the best care possible! Pet care fits into my daily routine by taking care of my two dogs that I have at home with feeding them morning and night! And taking them for walks, making sure they have enough water. About: For my entire life, I’ve always lived with dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, hamsters - you name it! - and as such, pet care has always been second nature. Growing up a pet lover, a few years ago I decided that I wanted to start pet sitting, and I have been doing it on and off ever since. Now being home for the summer from college, I would love to find more work in the field. Additionally, I have 4 senior pets at home including 2 senior dogs, so I am very comfortable working with older animals and their needs! I am home from college for summer break until late August, so until I go back to school, I am mostly available and am happy to help in whatever way I can! I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home (as well as a fish) who each have very specific dietary needs and routines. As such, I am very used to not only following specific instructions and steps to the letter, but also to balancing various pet needs. Additionally, having had many pets in my lifetime and having taken care of various pets for others, I am incredibly familiar with how every pet has different behaviors and care needs. For my own dogs at home, for example, given their age, they do not do well with long, rigorous walks. However, for one of the dogs I have been sitting for on and off for the past 3 years, she is full of energy and is the exact opposite of my senior dogs at home. Overall, even though every pet is different, I make sure that their needs are well met and pay attention to what messages they are sending me with body language and behaviors.
About: Hello, I enjoy working with all dogs, big or small. I have always had a special connection with dogs and since I can't have my own dog at this time in my life, I thoroughly enjoy the opportunities when I can spend time with other dogs. I grew up with an english springer spaniel named, Cocoa and a golden retriever, named Beckett, I miss them both very much. Kathilin did a great job checking on my dogs while we were away for the day. She was on time for the scheduled visits and made sure they got outside and had fresh water and were confront able before she left. She sent detailed notes about the visits and shared photos. I feel really comfortable leaving my dogs in her care and have booked her again for a week long stay while we travel.
Ava was AMAZING with our puppy, Willow! She watched her 3-5 days a week for a couple of months, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was flexible with our schedule, always reliable, and her communication was excellent—we always felt at ease knowing Willow was in great hands. We would absolutely book with Ava again!
