“Always incredibly appreciative of Michaela’s time and care with our kitties! She’s so sweet with them and it always feels like having a friend check on them I’m just so confident in having her there :)”

“Ann Marie was an amazing sitter for our two kitties! My first time using a sitter but she made the process seamless and gave us peace of mind. She even took time to take photos and give them treats. Couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely rebook next time we leave for vacation.”

“Annika took great care of our little Noli cat while we were gone, and was clean and respectful of the house. We came home to a very happy kitty! I’d love to have her help us out again in the future.”

About: Hello everyone, I’m new here! I’ve grown up and have taken care of pets my entire life, I have a dog of my own and have fostered many breeds and ages of dogs through Last Hope K9 as well since 2017 (more than 100 dogs saved). I treat all animals as if they are my children and give them as much love and attention as possible! I believe pets are a big part of your family. As a school counselor, my day job is to take care of families, and that’s what I’m looking to do here too! I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs and look forward to taking care of your furry friend! I’m a school counselor, so I’m available after work/at night time typically after 3pm for any of your pet needs. I’m available most weekends. I also have all school vacations, summers off and available for holiday sitting. Me and my husband have a fully fenced in yard in a safe, and quiet neighborhood on the Haverhill, MA/Plaistow, NH line. I have a very friendly and low/medium energy dog of my own who loves other pets and will definitely keep yours company! I always want to try to copy and paste what they are familiar with while you're away, so that they are as comfortable as possible. This looks different for every dog, and we are flexible to that. Safety is a huge priority at our house. Dogs are never left unattended in our fenced in back yard, me or my husband will always be outside watching them. We also never let the dogs off leash if we take them to the public park/walking trail across the street from our house.
“Beatriz was very professional, punctual and friendly. She did a great job taking care of our cats with their litter and even watered our Christmas tree. Left the house in great condition”

“I can’t recommend Maddy enough! She took amazing care of my cat, Jinx, while I was away. Maddy was incredibly thoughtful, responsible, and clearly loves animals. She kept me updated with photos and little notes about how Jinx was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I got home, Jinx was happy and relaxed. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust someone who genuinely cares. If you’re looking for someone to treat your pets like family, Maddy’s the one!”

My experience includes working with multiple pets at a time, dispensing medication, and working with elderly dogs. I have also cared for families with cats - and have two orange tabbies of my own! I am happy to come over at your convenience! I work an 8-5 job during the M-F week. I am available before work, after, and weekends. Hoping to help when you most need it! I will care for your pets in the comfort of your own home- where they are most comfortable! I can travel to where ever you may be.
“My review may not even do justices!! I’ve never left my cat and went on vacation for the last 2 and half years, the longest I’ve ever left her was 4 days and it was for work. Contacted Allison & Max, we met, from the first moment Fiji fell in love with them. Came back home after 10 days, like I never left!! Allison& Max were on time for every visit, you don’t even need to ask for updates, they captured most amazing moments with Fiji and send it to me daily!! Fiji already misses them, and she can’t wait to see them again in 3 weeks!! Thank you so much guys for everything you did!!!”

About: Hey! I’m an elder millennial who’s had a pet of one kind or another since birth (I won’t count all that in my years of experience though!) My family currently consists of two dogs, both well-behaved, friendly rescues from the south. I currently volunteer with and foster dogs for a local animal rescue. I’m excited to meet your fur babies! While hosting at my home, I’m currently only accepting female, housebroken dogs who are good with small children and other dogs. I will be the sole caretaker for your pet, and should my children be with me, they will be properly supervised. Outside of my home, I’m happy to work with male and female dogs of all sizes and breeds. While I can’t cat sit in my home, I’m more than happy to check in on your little love in their own space. I mostly work from home, but there are a few sporadic days where I’m in the office. If your dog being alone concerns you, let’s make sure we talk specifics before we book! I work full time and have young children, so I’m often on the go. Dogs who love car rides are welcome to join us! I typically take lunch break walks during the day - I’d love to have your furry friend keeping me company! I have two friendly dogs to keep your baby company. I can easily crate if needed. I have a spare crate, but can also use yours if it’s preferred.

Whether its feeding my cats or taking my neighbors dogs out I'm always up early and ready for a day of animal care! From start to finish My pets at home do not require much care as they are very independent fluff balls. But with all pets in general I use a positive reinforcement based training approach
“Lindsay was great!! I didn’t worry about a thing all weekend and knew that our dogs were in great hands. She updated us after every visit and sent the cutest pictures! Highly recommended!”

About: Pet sitter & walker in both Dracut & Haverhill, MA areas Hi, my name is Kelsey, a pet owner of more than 15+ years of 6 animals, both cats and dogs. I have experience with dog walking, sitting, feeding, baths, and spending some time just cuddling! I have a deep unconditional love for animals, and want to provide assistance in any way that I can. I offer sitting, walking, check-in visits & overnight stays. I work full time as an administrative coordinator with flexibility in my schedule to honor pet care. I have the ability to take extra days off, should you require additional hours of care for your fur babies! I am currently looking to make pet walking, visits and sitting a full time job to take up more of my schedule! I have a fenced in yard where both my dogs are safe at home. One of my dogs has a crate at home that she goes into when she wants to be alone or feel safe, as it is not punishment for her! About: I've been petsitting on and off for over 3 years now, from the tiniest chiweenie you've ever seen to BIG "bully" breeds and herding dogs. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier mix named Saffie who is my whole world. I'm very big on 'your house, your rules' - you tell me how best to care for your pet and I will take notes to make sure your requests are met! More than happy to water plants, grab mail, and be covered in fur. I work a standard 9-5 Tuesdays through Thursdays but I'm available before and after. Mondays and Fridays I work from home so I'm fairly flexible. Weekends are almost always wide open I will make sure to follow your directions to the letter. My own dog is great with humans but reactive to other dogs so I'm used to re-direction and keeping my head on a swivel.
“Great personal care taken with Klaus, Mike was very attentive to the instructions left for him! He took great care to ensure Klaus had everything he needed while I was away. He even brought him a tennis ball to play with! I will definitely be re-booking with Mike!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Haverhill
So nice to have the peace of mind that our girl would be shown some love and given company and a good walk while we were a couple hours away. Felicia was a great communicator and made us very comfortable leaving our pup with someone new for the first time. We would love to have her back to care for our girl again!

We just returned from our vacation yesterday and were extremely happy with the care and attention our 11yr old puppy received from Tayla. His eyes were perfectly cleaned and clear from his eye drops. She administered his medication and kept great records. She has such a great way with Biscuit. He enjoyed her daily visits. We enjoyed the daily photos she posted with a new bow in his head everyday. While away we felt very comfortable knowing he was getting the best care. We would highly recommend her to others in need of their pets care.
Chelsea was a dream to have as a dog sitter while we were away. She was extremely responsive and reliable, and sent lots of adorable pics! She totally tired him out with walks and outdoor play (soccer, fetch, etc.) and would leave little games and stimulation inside our house for our dog upon leaving. Would hire her again in an instant.

Sharon was fantastic! She did drop in visits for our dog Izzie and we couldn't have been happier. Sharon kept us updated with photos and text messages each visit. Sharon is clearly an animal lover and treated Izzie like one of her own. We highly recommend Sharon and we can’t wait to use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Haverhill with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
