About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Efrain—your dog’s new best friend! I’ve been caring for and loving dogs for over 30 years, and honestly, dogs have held some of the most meaningful relationships of my life. I often say (only half-joking!) that I love dogs even more than humans sometimes. Their honesty, loyalty, and pure-hearted energy have been a constant source of joy and grounding for me. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs of my own, and they absolutely love the company of other pups. They’re social, playful, and gentle—perfect hosts who make visiting dogs feel welcome and part of the pack. Spending time with my furry little kindred sorority is the best part of my day, and caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s truly a way of life. 🐶 What Your Dog Can Expect ✔️ A calm, safe, loving environment ✔️ Friendly canine companions (my two pups!) ✔️ Lots of affection, attention, and individualized care ✔️ A caregiver and famiky who treats every dog like family If you’re looking for someone who genuinely understands and adores dogs, I’d love to welcome your pup into our home and extended fur-family Hi, I am a lifelong dog lover, proud husband and dad, and someone who’s spent nearly 30 years helping people as a mental health professional and consultant. At home, though, I’m happiest surrounded by my family and my two amazing dogs, who love welcoming new furry friends into our little pack. I often joke that dogs have been some of my best teachers (and sometimes better company than humans!), and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and wagging tails is one of my favorite things. Whether I’m supporting people through my work or caring for pups in my home, my approach is the same: lead with kindness, stay grounded, and make everyone feel like they belong. At home, I care for my dogs with a mix of structure, play, and genuine affection—daily walks, plenty of exercise, consistent routines, and lots of cuddle time. I make sure they’re mentally stimulated, well-fed, and always feeling safe and loved. Whether we’re relaxing at home, exploring parks, visiting dog-friendly spots, or going on little adventures, I keep their comfort and happiness at the center of everything. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own: with patience, attention, and a commitment to making them feel secure, understood, and part of the family.

I came home to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for cat—and a clean litter box too! Michaela sent me updates and photos upon each visit, which truly made my time away so much easier. “A+ Absolutely recommend, 100%! Donnie is out-of-this-world awesome. In town for the summer, I had a bit of an emergency and desperately needed someone the next day to care for my two dogs – one is a puppy who isn't ready to be left alone yet. Donnie responded quickly to my request, insisted on meeting me and the dogs first, which was a very good sign he a real pro. He did a great job with the dogs and included some excellent training, even investing some time with me to show me how to keep them from pulling. He's also got a great set up and I felt very comfortable leaving the dogs in his care. Very impressed!”

“Kristin and Bobby watched our dog with a last minute call when we were vacationing in the Boston area. When we took our dog in the morning they came out to meet us and made sure that our dog was comfortable with them and their home. Our dog took right to both them and their dog. During the day my dog was exercised, fed and played with. I was very happy with our experience and would highly recommend them if you need a dog sitter.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and I have to say that if everyone on here is as superb as Carolyn then we will be lucky. Carolyn could not have made our experience better, she was responsive, caring, and did a fantastic job watching Kenzie! Thank you Carolyn”

About: I’m a licensed veterinarian in Brazil and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My father is a huge dog lover, so I grew up helping care for our family pets from a very young age. In Brazil, I had four dogs who are now happily living with my parents. Here in the U.S., I have my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, who is very friendly and loves having company. Because of my background in Veterinary Medicine and my lifelong experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, I feel very confident providing safe, responsible, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work at a coffee shop from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. After 3:30 p.m., I’m fully available for pet care, including walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. On Sundays and Mondays, I’m off from work and available all day for boarding, daycare, and other services. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I offer a calm, clean, and cozy home environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. My mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, is very friendly and gentle, which helps visiting dogs feel more comfortable and welcomed. Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in yours, I always follow their routine exactly as instructed—feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. I’m very attentive to body language and behavior to make sure each dog feels safe, respected, and stress-free. I provide constant supervision when I’m home, lots of love and positive interaction, and a peaceful space where dogs can settle in comfortably. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family.

I also have a friendly pup that has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs, if I’m doing dog sitting. My dog gets one long walk per day and we have a backyard perfect for catch and running. Sometimes we go to the dog park too!

About: I bring genuine care and patience to every dog I work with. I’ve personally cared for a Husky for the past 4 years, so I understand the importance of exercise, attention, consistency, and handling high-energy dogs with confidence. Huskies require a lot of patience and structure, which has helped me become very attentive to dogs’ needs and behaviors. I also have experience walking other dogs of different sizes and personalities, so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s energy level and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just wants someone calm and comforting around, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. I can help reinforce basic training, maintain routines, provide regular exercise, and make sure pets get plenty of attention and affection while you’re away. I’m especially good with energetic breeds, shy dogs that need patience, and dogs who thrive on companionship and consistency. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their dog is in caring and dependable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, active, and cared for. I make time each day for walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets attention so they feel safe and relaxed while in my care. I have a Fenced in yard, so sometimes I will let them run around the back yard, play fetch. And after a few minutes take them on a quick walk. I update Dog parents with Videos and photos so they get updates on there dogs well being and i will always ask for specific diets dogs may have so there routine doesn't change when they're in my care!

“Mac had a wonderful day with Robert and his pups. He had never been to a dog sitter before so we were a bit anxious about leaving him. We had a meet and greet before the day visit and when Mac got to Bob’s house on the day of the visit, Mac remembered that it was a place with people that he liked. Bob’s updates through the day made us rest easy that Mac was being well cared for. We loved the report card and pictures that we got at the end of the visit. We look forward to our next booking with Bob.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family since I was in high school as someone trusted to do home check-ins, stay overnight to house/pet sit on vacation, or simply go for a walk. From puppies to seniors, I’ve taken care of dogs with various needs and feel comfortable no matter their age. I work from home so I can use my lunch hour to stop by to let out the dog and play or take them for a walk. That hour may shift day to day as meetings allow but typically falls between 12 - 2pm. I’m comfortable with dogs who free roam the house while you’re gone or those who are crated. I can easily adapt to what your dog needs depending on your schedule and the purpose of my visits - whether that’s a potty break or some quality play time to get their energy out.

About: Hello everyone, I’m new here! I’ve grown up and have taken care of pets my entire life, I have a dog of my own and have fostered many breeds and ages of dogs through Last Hope K9 as well since 2017 (more than 100 dogs saved). I treat all animals as if they are my children and give them as much love and attention as possible! I believe pets are a big part of your family. As a school counselor, my day job is to take care of families, and that’s what I’m looking to do here too! I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs and look forward to taking care of your furry friend! I’m a school counselor, so I’m available after work/at night time typically after 3pm for any of your pet needs. I’m available most weekends. I also have all school vacations, summers off and available for holiday sitting. Me and my husband have a fully fenced in yard in a safe, and quiet neighborhood on the Haverhill, MA/Plaistow, NH line. I have a very friendly and low/medium energy dog of my own who loves other pets and will definitely keep yours company! I always want to try to copy and paste what they are familiar with while you're away, so that they are as comfortable as possible. This looks different for every dog, and we are flexible to that. Safety is a huge priority at our house. Dogs are never left unattended in our fenced in back yard, me or my husband will always be outside watching them. “Lindsey did a great job taking care of my two fur babies! She took care of them for a week when I visited my sister in Washington state. Lindsey sent me pictures every day. My pups absolutely loved her and her dog Tilly. I highly recommend her! Beth V”

“Very responsive and friendly. Received pictures everyday. Clean and safe home settings. Gets walk and play time everyday. Very happy with how Caty cares for my fur baby. Will definitely book her again.”

“Five stars is not enough! We left Chewbacca with Karen for a few days this week. Chewbacca has various specific needs, including oral medication and prescription diet, and he gets very nervous when first dropped off. We have never had such a strong sense of peace of mind with a dog sitter as we did this weekend. Karen was extremely communicative, updated us through text and pictures throughout the day, and always made sure to go the extra mile so Chewbacca felt safe and cared for. We will absolutely be calling her again!”

“Kristen and Bobby were extremely warm and alleviated any fears we had about leaving Ollie with them and their dog Archie. They treated Ollie like their own- Kristen even fed him kibble by kibble when he didn't want to eat. Kristen sent us photos showing Ollie relaxing on couch with her and Archie. Home sweet home! We would definitely book with them again and in fact already have!”

“Jessica was wonderful with my dog, Luna. She kept us updated the whole time and was responsive to Luna’s unique needs. We will definitely use Jessica again in the future, we highly recommend her!”

“We had the best experience with Julia and her family. She was excellent at communicating and providing detailed updates. Hank was truly part of her family while I was out of town and he had a blast. I am truly relieved to have someone reliable, safe and caring that I can leave Hank with in the future!”

“Michael was very communicative the whole time, and our Caju had a great time at his house! He was well taken care of and came back happy and tired :) I’ll definitely do it again when needed!”

“Daniela took amazing care of Dobby while we were away. She sent great updates and from each picture and video it was easy to tell that Dobby was having a great time playing in the yard and hanging out with Daniela and her family. Glad Dobby was able to be with a safe and caring family while we were gone!”

“I will definitely be rebooking with Rebeca! I could tell that she and her family truly cared for my dog, as they would their own. I received lots of photos and updates on her stay!”

“Our minidoodle Sam had a great stay with Charlotte and Jordan, and their dog Kyber. Two things we especially like: They generally just take one dog at a time (more attention, and Sam loves attention!), and they live near some great walking trails. Very nice people.”

“Michael and his family were great!! Our Golden Jaxson came home super happy!! He sent multiple update pics and was very responsive!! Felt so at ease Knowing Michael was caring for Jaxson! 🐾”
