“Jeanne was great and very responsive. I had full confidence my cats were being well cared for while I was away. I would definitely recommend Jeanne and hope to reschedule her services for future dates.”

About: 🐾 Pet Care Experience I've had two amazing Labrador Retrievers and truly understand the special bond between dogs and their families. Every dog who stays with me is treated like one of my own in a safe, calm, and loving home. My home is best suited for well-adjusted adult dogs who enjoy a calm environment and are comfortable with a typical weekday work schedule. I welcome one family's dog(s) at a time and never mix dogs from different households. This allows me to provide personalized attention in a quiet, low-stress environment where your dog can truly relax and feel at home. I work full-time during the weekdays (approximately 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). Before and after work, your dog will enjoy walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection. Evenings and weekends are dedicated to quality time together, and when my schedule allows, I may occasionally stop home during the day for an extra potty break. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch, I'll tailor their care to their individual personality and routine. My goal is for every dog to feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you're away. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout your dog's stay, so you can travel with confidence knowing your best friend is in caring, dependable hands. Schedule: I work Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., making my home an excellent fit for adult dogs who are comfortable with a typical weekday routine. Before and after work, your dog will enjoy walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Evenings and weekends are dedicated to quality time together, and when my schedule allows, I may occasionally stop home during the day for an extra potty break. I'm available for both weekday and weekend boarding and welcome longer stays. To provide each dog with the best possible experience, I host only one family's dog(s) at a time in my calm, loving home. Safety, Trust & Environment: Your dog will enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable home where they'll be treated like part of the family. I welcome only one family's dog(s) at a time, creating a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of personalized attention. My home features a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely explore, play, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. I also live in a pet-friendly neighborhood that's perfect for daily walks and have nearby parks for even more exercise and enrichment. Whether your dog loves playing outside, going for walks, or simply relaxing indoors, I'll tailor their stay to their individual personality and routine. My goal is to provide a safe, loving home where every dog feels comfortable, secure, and cared for while you're away.
About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, whether it was feeding my own dogs and cat or volunteering 150+ hours for the MSPCA. My family frequently asks me to feed, walk, or just provide company to their pets, and I am always happy to do so! I am very flexible with rates/services so feel free to reach out with any questions and I'll try my best to make it work. I am home from college in the winter and summer and have lots of availability to provide a friend for your pet! I do work part-time but Rover is my biggest priority. I am a very flexible sitter and base my pet care to the behavioral needs of the dogs. I am always willing to play and use toys or just let them rest if needed!
“Angelina was fantastic! She was super friendly and very helpful. She was punctual and knowledgeable. Prince loved her and will book again ! Thanks Angelina you were amazing ! Also all the loving she gave to our little guy was just so sweet 🥹”

“Adele was wonderful with our dogs during her visits. She consistently sent detailed updates and notes about each visit, which we really appreciated. We’d be happy to have her back anytime we need help.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family since I was in high school as someone trusted to do home check-ins, stay overnight to house/pet sit on vacation, or simply go for a walk. From puppies to seniors, I’ve taken care of dogs with various needs and feel comfortable no matter their age. I work from home so I can use my lunch hour to stop by to let out the dog and play or talk them for a walk. That hour may shift day to day as meetings allow but typically falls between 12 - 2pm. I’m comfortable with dogs who free roam the house while you’re gone or those who are crated. I can easily adapt to what your dog needs depending on your schedule and the purpose of my visits - whether that’s a potty break or some quality play time to get their energy out.
“Michaela was great from the start. My dog is scared of strangers but he grew to love her in just a few days of drop in visits. I got details of each visit and as a fur mama I appreciate knowing the little things. We will use her again!!”

“Watanya is the best cat sitter I’ve ever seen. She was consistent and thoughtful with our sweet senior cat. She fed and refreshed her water daily. After every visit, she sent an update with photos and videos so we could rest assured knowing our girl was in good hands. She really went above and beyond! Ombre ADORES her and we will certainly be booking her again! If you have a chance to work with Watanya, you should take it”

“Magnoly is literally the best! She was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable with our dog Apollo and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again! She communicates everything every step of the way and was sooo flexible when I booked the wrong dates for visits and when we asked her to drop in again on short notice! She couldn’t have been a better person for Apollo’s first night by himself and our first Rover experience, we absolutely love her!!”

“Sharon was fantastic! She did drop in visits for our dog Izzie and we couldn't have been happier. Sharon kept us updated with photos and text messages each visit. Sharon is clearly an animal lover and treated Izzie like one of her own. We highly recommend Sharon and we can’t wait to use her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Haverhill
We just returned from our vacation yesterday and were extremely happy with the care and attention our 11yr old puppy received from Tayla. His eyes were perfectly cleaned and clear from his eye drops. She administered his medication and kept great records. She has such a great way with Biscuit. He enjoyed her daily visits. We enjoyed the daily photos she posted with a new bow in his head everyday. While away we felt very comfortable knowing he was getting the best care. We would highly recommend her to others in need of their pets care.
Allison and Maxwell took such great care of our shy kitties! One even came out to say hi. Everything was kept clean and we knew the cats and house were safe. They managed to find the kitties in their hiding spots and assured us with photos that they were doing well. We cannot thank them enough for the thorough care!

Chelsea was a dream to have as a dog sitter while we were away. She was extremely responsive and reliable, and sent lots of adorable pics! She totally tired him out with walks and outdoor play (soccer, fetch, etc.) and would leave little games and stimulation inside our house for our dog upon leaving. Would hire her again in an instant.

Sharon was fantastic! She did drop in visits for our dog Izzie and we couldn't have been happier. Sharon kept us updated with photos and text messages each visit. Sharon is clearly an animal lover and treated Izzie like one of her own. We highly recommend Sharon and we can’t wait to use her again.

Dove is the best, she came and took care of my three cats, one of my cats had an accident and she even cleaned up after the cat so it didn't smell before I got home,, she also kept up with the litter box for me, I feel like she did more than what was expected. I was anxious about leaving for a whole week she constantly sent me pictures of how they were doing which made me feel good about being away, I recommend her highly and I'm glad that I got to meet her because I will definitely be using her again when I plan another trip. even one of my cats who doesn't go to anybody went to her I kind of feel like she was disappointed when I came home and she didn't see her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
