“This was our 1st time using Hannah and she took great care of our 2 babies. They always looked so happy in all the wonderful pictures Hannah would send. She was always on time too. We will definitely use Hannah again. Thank you!”

“Allison was very friendly and communication was great, making for a very seamless experience. We have 3 cats, one of which is diabetic and requires insulin injections. We were very comfortable with leaving our cats in Allison’s care and will definitely book again!”

“Michaela was amazing at caring for our 2 kitties. She arrived right on time each visit and provided detailed updates and photos. Will definitely book with her again soon!”

“Magnoly is literally the best! She was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable with our dog Apollo and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again! She communicates everything every step of the way and was sooo flexible when I booked the wrong dates for visits and when we asked her to drop in again on short notice! She couldn’t have been a better person for Apollo’s first night by himself and our first Rover experience, we absolutely love her!!”

“Amanda was very reliable with our two cats. She sent us daily briefings and photos. We are very pleased with her work and will probably reach out to her again in the future.”

About: Hi, I’m Naomi — a calm, reliable caregiver who treats every pet like family. I’ve spent years caring for animals with all kinds of personalities, from energetic puppies to sensitive seniors. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive, and I always take the time to understand what each pet needs to feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m someone who notices the small things — the way a dog’s tail lifts when they’re excited, the way a shy cat warms up when you move slowly, the way a nervous pup relaxes when you match their pace. I’m steady, warm, and fully present with the animals I care for. Whether your pet needs a walk, play, or just someone who will sit with them and make them feel secure, I’m here to help. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure you feel confident and at ease while your pet is with me. Your pet’s comfort comes first — always. Pet care fits easily into my weekly rhythm. I build my days around calm routines and being fully present with the animals I care for. Whether in my home or yours, I follow familiar routines, offer patient attention, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
“Lisa was very knowledgeable about taking care of our bunny! Which was a relief, we were worried about leaving out of town. We recommend Lisa for rabbits or any type of pet care. She also takes really good photogenic pictures and checked in regularly. Thanks Lisa!!”

“I can’t recommend Maddy enough! She took amazing care of my cat, Jinx, while I was away. Maddy was incredibly thoughtful, responsible, and clearly loves animals. She kept me updated with photos and little notes about how Jinx was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I got home, Jinx was happy and relaxed. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust someone who genuinely cares. If you’re looking for someone to treat your pets like family, Maddy’s the one!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have grown up around both dogs and cats. Whether it is keeping up with an energetic dog, taking them on a walk, or taking care of an attentive cat, I am passionate about making them happy. I have always been a go-to when it comes to friends going on vacation. There hasn’t been a time in my life where I wasn’t around a pet! As a student, I am currently on summer break, so I am available on a daily basis. I am available all day or night for care, walks, and check-ins. To ensure the best possible care for your pet I will familiarize myself with the home environment. I can utilize toys or tools you may have for your pet, or can even bring some of my own if need be! Able to walk around in neighborhoods or play in yards.
About: I’ve loved and cared for nearly every kind of pet, from doggies and kitties to chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, bunnies, chickens, turtles, geckos, birds, rats, and even snakes. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. Of all my amazing animal friends, dogs are definitely my favorite — I’ve had a dog in my home my entire life and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I would love the opportunity to help other pet owners by providing the same care, attention, and affection that I’ve always given to my own pets. I'm currently working part time so my availability is vast! I can do most mornings, evenings after 4, and some weekends as well! If you ask, we can easily work something out! I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort during every drop-in visit, walk, and house sitting stay. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications if needed, and exercise, to keep them relaxed and happy while you’re away. During dog walks, I make sure pets are always securely leashed, avoid unsafe areas, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. For drop-ins and house sitting, I respect your home, keep doors and gates secure, maintain a clean environment, and ensure your pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving experience so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident in my care.

About: I have cared for pets for friends and family for several years and have always loved being around animals. I also have an 11-year-old dog of my own, whom I trained from the time she was a puppy, which has given me experience with patience, consistency, and understanding each pet’s unique needs. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and am currently in graduate school pursuing a career in mental health counseling. My education and experiences have strengthened qualities like patience, communication, empathy, and attentiveness, which I also bring to caring for pets. While balancing part-time work and graduate school, I maintain a flexible schedule. I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June, with additional availability most Friday evenings and weekend mornings. I treat every pet like my own, making their safety, comfort, and routine my priority. During walks and drop-in visits, I stay mindful of their surroundings, follow instructions carefully, and always double-check that doors, leashes, and gates are secure. I also enjoy sharing updates and pictures so you can feel at ease while you’re away!

About: Hello & welcome to my profile! I have been blessed by growing up around animals my entire life! My older brother has had dogs as small as a Poodle/Chihuahua mix (Ari) and as large as a Newfoundland (Armand - which I was able to help leash train)! My brother has relied on me multiple times to take care of them, and I do so lovingly! In Ari’s later years, he trusted me to give him his medication, special diet food, and assist him walk around. Additionally, I grew up around cats for as long as I can remember and currently have two of my very own. Not only cats & dogs, but bunnies, gerbils, and guinea pigs are all animals I have taken care of under my own roof! I know that each pet has their own personality and therefore needs specialized care. I know how much I think about my own when I am away from them, and I would be honored to lovingly take care of them so you don’t have to stress it! I currently work full time M-F, but am consistently done with work by 3:00/4:00 pm. This gives me plenty of time to stop by and care for your animals during the week part time, or full time on the weekends! Within my own home, I make sure to be proactive with making sure my cats have fresh water and food in their bowls at consistent times. I do not currently own any pet supplies for a dog and I live in a one bedroom apartment with limited space. I am happy to house smaller animals when need be and take care of all other pets within their own furever home!
“This was my first time using Rover and I am very happy with the service. Mikayla and Alen made me feel at ease. They helped me understand the process and took great care of my dog. I would highly recommend them.”

About: I am an avid animal lover. Recently lost my 15 year old pup. I have a 6 year old son who wants to be a vet someday and he will care for your pup too. I have 2 cats in the house as well. I often care for my mother's 2 dogs as well. I work full time but am home on weekends and nights. I love to scratch behind the ears and good belly rubs as well. I hope your dog loves attention. Yary provided care for my two dogs with only one day notice! First time using Rover and so impressed. She went above and beyond to give them a break from a long day home alone. The pictures she sent were adorable. I know they had quality time outside. Will definitely call on her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
