“I highly recommend Mackenzie! She is very responsive to all of my messages and timely in her drop-in visits. She watched my two free roam bunnies and was super great with them! It was a great peace of mind to know she was looking after them. I will definitely keep her in mind for my next trip!!”

About: I work as the Daycare and Kennel Supervisor at a Pet Resort in NH. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and can take care of dogs with special needs including administering medications or even catheterization, if necessary. I am Canine CPR and First Aid Certified. I am also an NREMT certified EMT. I've had 4 dogs of my own at one time, and have both trained and groomed them since puppyhood! I currently work Monday through Wednesday, but am home all day Thursday through Sunday to care for your fur babies! With 2 dogs of my own, I make sure that I spend as much time at home with them as possible. I have a very large yard that is fenced in on 3 sides, with 100ft tethers to give them the freedom to run around and explore the whole property. I have 2 very playful pups that love having friends over! I can crate a dog, if needed, or have multiple raised beds and large dog pillows with blankets to keep everyone cozy. The pups' comfort, safety, and well-being always comes first!
“Ann Marie was an amazing sitter for our two kitties! My first time using a sitter but she made the process seamless and gave us peace of mind. She even took time to take photos and give them treats. Couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely rebook next time we leave for vacation.”

“So nice to have the peace of mind that our girl would be shown some love and given company and a good walk while we were a couple hours away. Felicia was a great communicator and made us very comfortable leaving our pup with someone new for the first time. We would love to have her back to care for our girl again!”

“Grace was amazing! My cat Samosa can be tough to love as she doesn't like people other than me but Samosa was in such good spirits when I got home. I got a photo every day, including where the key was left, and it was great knowing she was doing well while I was away. It made visiting Island stress free!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, I know how important your baby is, my goal is to give your dog safe and happy visits! I am currently on summer break for college so I have a mostly open schedule! I work some days at Aroma Joes and all my other time I am free. I always greet dogs slowly by letting them sniff my hand and get used to my scent, I have walked dogs since a kid and know how to handle dogs that pull.

About: I have a wide range of knowledge in animal care. I provide senior animal care, medication administration (have experience with liquid syringe fed, food mix ins), I am patient and willing to learn and help out with any necessary training, exercising, and/or special medical care. I have two parakeets myself, and spend a lot of time at my parents house with my family dogs. I also have experience caring for rabbits, hamsters, and cats as well although I am willing to learn to care for basically any type of animal. I am a hairstylist, and often have the ability to shorten my days to accommodate bathroom breaks, feeding, and other important care times. The only main activity outside of work is going to the gym, but I can easily make a cardio day by going for walks/hikes with your fur baby’s! I am dedicated to following routines that you have set up for your pets such as crating, training skills, and special requests to keep your pets at ease and safe.
“Beatriz was very professional, punctual and friendly. She did a great job taking care of our cats with their litter and even watered our Christmas tree. Left the house in great condition”

“Bill and I always feel better after Jill checks on Murphy! Jill is timely, reliable and sends photos of our girls, which always makes our day. Murphy can't wait to see Jill again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for most of my life, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, & give lots of love to their pets for years. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and needs. I’m comfortable with lots of play time, long/ short walks, & special feeding routines. Your dog’s comfort and happiness always come first as they are family after all. I currently have a pretty open schedule. I work 3/ 12 hour night shifts as a LNA, so that leaves lots of time during the week and weekends to accommodate your pets needs. Your pet safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’m very mindful during walks, always making sure your dog is securely leashed & away from hazards or stressful situations. I will follow all care instructions exactly as asked to ensure peace of mind. I will treat every pet as if they are my own with love, patience, & consistency.
About: I have owned pets my whole life. They have a piece of my heart even if I don’t own them. I sit for my family’s and friends pets when they are away. They are loved and well cared for with all that I have to give. I am currently working full time. I am available at night after 4 and on the weekends. If I have days like holidays I can also do animal sitting then. I own 2 cats. My furry love bugs! 😀❤️😺I spoil them. They get plenty of belly rubs and kisses! Lots of play to keep them active. I can come to your home and provide whatever services you need. I dog sit and cat sit for my family and friends. I feed them as scheduled. I make sure they have plenty of water and the dogs get plenty of exercise. If there is meds needed I can provide this service. I have owned animals my whole life so I feel I can be there with confidence to care for other animals

About: My family has fostered many dogs from puppies to elderly, along with owning two of our own. Almost all of my highschool volunteer hours came from helping at dog kennels and daycares. From a young age my parents have taught me to have good patience and care for animals. I am currently a student home from school til March. I attend a maritime school for engineering. Other than two courses I am taking online at nearby school, I have a completely open schedule from the next two months. Depending on age I offer 1-2 walks through out the day. Along with interactive meal times! I do own 1 dog at home who is elderly but very very kind and social. I have a very large yard which allows all the zombies. However my pup is trained and therefore we have no fencing. I live in close proximity to dog park for free range fun as well. As for dogs that require daily grooming, I proved daily brushings as well.
“Arianna is an excellent cat sitter she spends time with our babies and takes the cutest pictures of them. She even leaves us physical copies which is adorable. Highly recommend!”

About: I am pet CPR and first aid certified through PetTech. I worked at a dog boarding facility for a year and a half. I have gotten a professional education in dog body language, handling, and training through Kennelwood Academy. I own 4 dogs myself. I have expirience with senior dogs, sports dogs, puppies as young as 8 weeks, dogs with disabilities and more. Available all day early mornings, no later than 8pm. I am a dog and cat owner so I am no stranger to last minute help. I follow your dogs schedule exactly as written. Schedule and routine is extremely important for animals. Especially while you, the pet parent, is not home.
About: I have always had a passion for animals, which I have actively pursued through animal care work and volunteering. These experiences have taught me the importance of having a safe, clean, loving, and happy environment for all animals! I currently have open availability, I am available on demanding hours such as; weekends, weekdays, holidays, and long hours. I have no problem with transportation, and can show up when needed! I have a fenced in yard with two of my own dogs at home. I also have animal daycare experience and can easily prioritize the safety and well being of all animals!
About: I’ve cared for Shiba Inus for several years—first helping raise and care for my girlfriend’s senior Shiba Inu for over 3 years, and now raising my own Shiba Inu from puppyhood. This has given me hands-on experience with both ends of the spectrum—from understanding the needs of an older dog, like slower-paced walks and gentler handling, to the patience and energy required to train and manage a puppy. I’m confident working with dogs that have strong personalities and require consistency, especially breeds like Shibas that are known for their independence. I’ve handled both a senior dog and a puppy, so I understand how to adjust care based on age and temperament. I’m detail-oriented, patient, and always focused on keeping pets safe and comfortable. I know how important structure and consistency are for a pet’s well-being, and I bring that same level of care to any dog I work with—whether it’s managing medication for a senior or reinforcing leash training with a younger pup. I work full time during the week, so I’m primarily available on weekends and holidays. I make the most of that time by planning dedicated pet care activities—whether that’s long walks or playtime. Because I have a dog of my own, pet care is already built into my routine, and I’m used to giving animals the time, attention, and structure they need to feel safe and happy. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision and regular routines. I make sure dogs feel comfortable and secure by providing familiar surroundings, structured play, and clear boundaries. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and follow all instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m also experienced in reading dog behavior, which helps me anticipate needs and avoid stressful situations.

Yary provided care for my two dogs with only one day notice! First time using Rover and so impressed. She went above and beyond to give them a break from a long day home alone. The pictures she sent were adorable. I know they had quality time outside. Will definitely call on her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
