The love that I have for my pets crosses over to the love that I will bring for your pet. Pet sitting is currently my primary focus. This allows me to have greater flexibility in my schedule and more time to take care of your pets. About: I regularly care for friends' dogs when they're out of town or need someone to swing by during a long day. Walks, fetch, general snuggles. I work full time but can get away during the day for activities. Love early morning walks and a good game of fetch in the evening. General dog sitting and care. About: Caring for others has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a large, close-knit family as one of six siblings and later raised five children of my own, so creating a safe and loving home comes naturally to me. I’ve been around animals since I was young. My father owned racehorses, and I later cared for a horse of my own for many years. Over the years, I’ve also had dogs, cats, and rabbits as part of my family. I recently moved to a new town and bought a home with a large fenced yard and farm space behind it. While I don’t have animals of my own right now, visiting pets have plenty of safe room to enjoy the outdoors. Since I’m home throughout the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. I will care for your pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. I’m home throughout the day, so your pet will have plenty of attention and supervision. I stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, so they feel comfortable and settled. Your pet will be treated like family in a safe, relaxed setting. I stick to their normal routine and make sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I've been petsitting on and off for over 3 years now, from the tiniest chiweenie you've ever seen to BIG "bully" breeds and herding dogs. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier mix named Saffie who is my whole world. I'm very big on 'your house, your rules' - you tell me how best to care for your pet and I will take notes to make sure your requests are met! More than happy to water plants, grab mail, and be covered in fur. I work a standard 9-5 Tuesdays through Thursdays but I'm available before and after. Mondays and Fridays I work from home so I'm fairly flexible. Weekends are almost always wide open I will make sure to follow your directions to the letter. My own dog is great with humans but reactive to other dogs so I'm used to re-direction and keeping my head on a swivel.

I have open availability for the summer, I do walk a friends dog from July 11-31st but that should not interfere with any drop in or walking visits! During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets the attention and care they’re used to while you’re away. I can provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, medication if needed, and plenty of affection. I always take the time to check on your pet’s overall well-being and make sure they’re comfortable and happy.

I am currently on summer break for college so I have a mostly open schedule! I work some days at Aroma Joes and all my other time I am free. I always greet dogs slowly by letting them sniff my hand and get used to my scent, I have walked dogs since a kid and know how to handle dogs that pull.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. From growing up with dogs, to working with them, they've always been there. I'm a formally trained groomer who has worked in various places around New England. My specially was working with puppies and dogs with anxiety. Both of those need extra patience and time to keep them safe, comfortable, and to make it the best experience possible. I've also worked for a doggy daycare, have done at home walks, and have a number of years experience with housesitting dogs of all ages. I'm a stay at home mom with two young kids, one in school, one will be going in the fall. We spend plenty of time in our yard, getting fresh air and sun. I have a large yard, unfenced, and a good sized home with plenty of space. There are stairs in the front to get upstairs, but no stairs by the backdoor, making it easy for dogs with mobility issues to come inside.

About: I have 8 years of experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments from energetic puppies to large breed dogs. I’m very comfortable handling a wide range of needs, including active dogs that require structure and exercise. For the past 7 years, I’ve worked in education as an athletic director, which has strengthened my leadership, responsibility, and ability to stay calm and consistent in any situation. I bring that same level of care, organization, and reliability into pet care. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve decided to pursue dog care full time starting this June because it’s truly what I enjoy most. I also have three dogs of my own—a Chihuahua/Husky mix (8), a Chow Chow/Husky mix (7), and a German Shepherd (6) so I understand day to day care, routines, and the importance of treating every dog like family.
