Paw-some Care When You’re Not There

Hi! I’m Allison, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets while you’re away. I’ve been caring for animals for over six years, with the last three years spent professionally providing pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Working with animals has always been my passion, and I’m incredibly grateful that I now get to do it full-time. Before becoming a full-time pet sitter, I worked at a veterinary hospital and completed two years of veterinary technician school. Although I originally planned to become a vet tech, I discovered that my passion was caring for pets in their own homes and building lasting relationships with both animals and their families. Making that career change has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I truly love what I do every day. I’m fully insured, Pet CPR certified, and experienced caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, senior pets, puppies, high-energy breeds, reactive dogs, and pets with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to help your pets stay happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Every pet is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and favorite activities. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, relaxing on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. Communication is very important to me, so you’ll receive regular updates and plenty of photos throughout each visit or stay. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, loved, and receiving the same care I’d want for my own animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I wasn’t able to get in touch with Allison yesterday. Our car broke down and we are stuck in Calais ME. I don’t know if she left the keys in the house or not. If she could leave the keys under the front door mat we could have a friend come over fir Smoky.

Schedule

As a full-time professional pet sitter and dog walker, my days are spent caring for multiple clients through scheduled dog walks and drop-in visits. If I’m house sitting in your home, I will come and go throughout the day to care for my other scheduled clients. Most days, I’m typically away for about 5–6 hours at a time, so your pets should be comfortable being alone for that length of time. Outside of those visits, I’ll be spending the rest of my time at your home giving your pets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away.

Where your pet will stay

Has 3 dogs, has cats

Safety, trust & environment

I take safety very seriously, at my home I have a fenced in yard it is short though so any dogs who could jump or have a history with being a little mischievous stay on a 15 foot lead. I am insured as well! If the stay is at your home then I follow your rules to the best I possibly can to keep your pup safe and happy at all times!

Pets

A typical day
