Donnie's expertise and love for dogs was clear on my first visit. My dog was sick and he helped me to narrow it down to an infection that I should visit the vet for, and continued to help care for him over the next few days. With a fenced in area, truck, and nearby forest he's well equipped to care for your pet.

About: Hi! My name is Julia, and I am a dedicated animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate to care for your furry family members while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. Whether it’s dog walking, pet sitting, boarding, drop-in visits, feeding, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I am comfortable meeting each pet’s individual needs. I have cared for my own pets throughout my life, as well as pets belonging to family and friends, which has given me valuable experience handling different temperaments and routines. I take pride in providing attentive, personalized care to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys long walks and playtime or your cat prefers a calm environment and extra affection, I will make their well-being my top priority. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized attention. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being cared for as if they were my own. I am dependable, responsible, and committed to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members and providing the loving, reliable care they deserve! 🐾❤️ Please note: For boarding requests, your dog must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs, as I may have other dogs in my care during their stay. This helps ensure a safe and stress-free environment for everyone. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. Pet sitting and animal care are my primary focus right now, so I have the time and availability to accommodate a variety of schedules and needs. Whether you need dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight pet sitting, or boarding, I am committed to being dependable and responsive. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I strive to provide consistent care that helps them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Because of my flexible availability, I can often accommodate last-minute requests and work with pet owners to find a schedule that best fits their needs. Your pet’s happiness, comfort, and well-being will always be my top priority Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a loving, supervised environment where pets are treated like part of the family. While my yard is not fully fenced, I have secure runner systems in both my side yard and backyard that allow dogs to enjoy fresh air and outdoor time safely while under my supervision. Inside, pets have access to a clean, comfortable home where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I closely monitor all pets in my care and follow any routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and special instructions provided by their owners to ensure consistency and comfort. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their home and pets with the same level of respect and attention that I would expect for my own. I understand the importance of trust when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I am committed to providing dependable, compassionate, and attentive service every step of the way. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

My 8yo dog Wilbur loved her time with Joshua and Rebecca! We haven't needed dog sitting or daycare often, and I am so glad I was able to find Joshua while in town on a work trip. Wilbur made new friends (she can be a loner but loves people), got out on tons of walks and creeks, and even got to ride in the dog van. It can be stressful finding the right dog care when on the road vs. at home with people you know, and I'm glad Wilbur got to spend a few day care days with this family!

About: Since childhood, I’ve been devoted to caring for dogs. Growing up with lively boxers, they really honed my skills for handling energetic pups. Now, I share my home with a super friendly 2.5 year old French Bulldog who adores people, kids, and other animals. We take daily walks, and I’d be thrilled to include your dog in our adventures. With a spacious fenced in yard for playing fetch and enjoying yard games, your furry friend will have a fantastic time with us! My wife and I both work from home, so there should always be someone around to take care of their needs. I currently am working part-time from home, so I will have more than enough time to play and take care of any of your animals needs! Since I work from home, my availability is wide open. I am open to dog daycare, boarding, and walking any day of the week. I have a large fenced in yard where your pet can play. My dog will also be more than happy to play and keep your pet company. I am also more than happy to crate your pet at any time during the day if you desire, I know that some cooldown time is needed with certain breeds. I’m also willing to take on any special requests you may have as long as they are within reason.

Heather was an absolute lifesaver and a fantastic sitter! She jumped in last minute when we needed her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She provided regular updates with messages and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was so sweet to hear how my dog enjoy playing together with her dog, enjoyed a little backyard chase, and even went on a car ride! Heather even let my dog borrow a coat for their walk, which was such a thoughtful touch. I truly appreciate all the care and attention she provided, making sure my dog felt comfortable, safe, and well-loved. If you're looking for a reliable, kind, and communicative sitter, Heather is the best! I highly recommend her and would definitely book again.

We brought our 4.5 m/o puppy to Krystyna and Sara for his first doggy day care. He was nervous when we left him, but when we came to pick him up he didn’t want to leave! They were great about sending us updates about his naps and videos of him playing with the other dogs. Really helped assuage our anxiety of him being stressed when left in the care of someone else. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Rebecca and her husband took fantastic care of our three dogs while we were in the area for a wedding. One of our dogs can be a little tricky, and I was really nervous to leave her in doggy day care. She's diabetic and also on anti anxiety medication - but Rebecca handled it like it was no big deal, and had her relaxing in the yard in no time. I really appreciated the check in during the day, to let me know how they were doing- and loved how obvious it was that she was paying attention to each of their personalities. Plus - with all the travel, one of my pups had been refusing to poop. Right until we got into Rebecca's house 🫠 but she handled it with such grace and made an awkward moment super easy for us. Thank you Rebecca!!

About: I always loved and had dogs. Until I had a small size dog I have realized that leaving them at home is very heartbreaking. I have a 12year old Maltese girl. I always looked for someone to take care of her when I was not available. Now, I want to be that person for your little precious ones. I can be their companion when you are not available. I can maintain the same standards you provide as much as I can. Little ones have access to my couch, bed, lap as long as they want or I have different types of beddings around my apartment if they feel like being alone. (My dog is very independent, sometimes she prefers sleeping alone.) They won't be alone for a long time. Maybe just a short period of time such as grocery visit, I have a camera at my home so I can monitor how they are doing. Looking forward to meet them soon! ❤️ I’m currently studying and working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pups in my care. We usually have two long walks and one shorter outing each day. On weekends, we enjoy exploring nearby parks and spending extra time outdoors. I have a friendly Maltese who enjoys the company of other dogs. My home is pet-proofed and set up to keep pets safe and comfortable, with crates, cozy pet beds, toys, a home monitor, and access to an outdoor area. I follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure they receive attention, exercise, and a calm environment.

About: My pack consists of 2 dogs and 3 cats. I have a 5 year old dachshund named Scout who is the absolute best boy you will ever meet! I trained him since he was a puppy to be my stress and anxiety service dog. He goes everywhere I go, including stores, restaurants, planes, and even Disney World. My second dog is a German Shepherd rescue named Nebula. She is the sweetest girl but unfortunately is very shy. Over the past year I have slowly getting her to break out of her shell. For any Disney fans out there I tell her to embrace her inner Merida and be Brave! My three cats are all unique in their own ways. My oldest is Lyla who is 17 and she only wants love and cuddles. My middle child is Stitch. He is spunky and adventurous and will follow you around the house even to the bathroom. My little princess is Willow. She is a calico beauty but would rather play with the dogs than do anything else. Her best friend is my 70lb German shepherd and it’s pretty adorable. I have large range of experience taking care of different breeds and different ages of pets! I love all fur babies! I work from home 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. I have Saturday and Sunday off. I am available all day to care for pets! I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run and play. I have lots of ramps for my dachshund to prevent back injuries! I have 2 dog crates that can be used because my dogs rarely need them.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. Currently have a dog and a cat! Meredith the cat and September the dog! I also have 7 year old twins that love to play and help with their pets, and love meeting new animals. I’m a stay at home mom, so I have time during the weekdays while kids are at school, to do drop ins or walks. I also have a friendly pup that has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs, if I’m doing dog sitting. My dog gets one long walk per day and we have a backyard perfect for catch and running. Sometimes we go to the dog park too!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Hampstead on Rover is $38 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 2,066 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Hampstead. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hampstead commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,066 sitters in Hampstead, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
