“Our cats loved Allison and Max! We have one typically very shy cat who is always nervous around new people. To the point I was worried she might not even eat from someone different. But when they came over to feed them she was so comfortable and had no problem coming out and eating! Such a relief for us! They were super kind and sent updates after their visits too!”

About: I am a pet lover with multiple years of experience under my belt! I regularly dog sit for three families and have helped others. My experience includes working with multiple pets at a time, dispensing medication, and working with elderly dogs. I have also cared for families with cats - and have two orange tabbies of my own! I am happy to come over at your convenience! I work an 8-5 job during the M-F week. I am available before work, after, and weekends. Hoping to help when you most need it! I will care for your pets in the comfort of your own home- where they are most comfortable! I can travel to where ever you may be.
“Michaela was absolutely wonderful. She’s responsible and kind and sent me informative reports every day along with photographs. She really eased my mind when I was out of the country recently and she was here every day to take care of my six cats! I can’t recommend her highly enough. I will definitely hire Michaela again when the opportunity arises! Thanks for everything, Michaela!”

About: I'm a local cat mom with 13 years of experience. I have a 9 year old Raggamuffin named Patches. I specialize in cat care, but also have hands-on experience caring for dogs of my friends and family. Whether I'm visiting a shy cat who needs space or an energetic dog ready for a walk, I promise to show up consistently, follow your pet's routine, and keep you updated with photos so you can relax while you're away. I currently have an open and flexible schedule which means I can accommodate early morning visits, evening drop-ins, and multi-day house sitting stays. Whether I'm doing a drop-in, a dog walk, or an overnight sit, I treat your pet and home the way I'd want mine treated. For cat visits I follow feeding and play routines, scoop the litter, and refresh water. For dog walks I keep them to familiar, low-traffic routes until I get to know your pup. For house sits, I keep the space tidy with doors and windows secure.
“Ann Marie was an amazing sitter for our two kitties! My first time using a sitter but she made the process seamless and gave us peace of mind. She even took time to take photos and give them treats. Couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely rebook next time we leave for vacation.”

“We recently had Beatriz watch our 3 cats and we are so happy we booked her. From the first meeting, she was very organized, took lots of notes on how to care for our cats and her communication is amazing. We felt so at ease while away because of Beatriz. She sent us images, gave our cats cuddles and lots of love. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: Hello everyone, I’m new here! I’ve grown up and have taken care of pets my entire life, I have a dog of my own and have fostered many breeds and ages of dogs through Last Hope K9 as well since 2017 (more than 100 dogs saved). I treat all animals as if they are my children and give them as much love and attention as possible! I believe pets are a big part of your family. As a school counselor, my day job is to take care of families, and that’s what I’m looking to do here too! I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs and look forward to taking care of your furry friend! I’m a school counselor, so I’m available after work/at night time typically after 3pm for any of your pet needs. I’m available most weekends. I also have all school vacations, summers off and available for holiday sitting. Me and my husband have a fully fenced in yard in a safe, and quiet neighborhood on the Haverhill, MA/Plaistow, NH line. I have a very friendly and low/medium energy dog of my own who loves other pets and will definitely keep yours company! I always want to try to copy and paste what they are familiar with while you're away, so that they are as comfortable as possible. This looks different for every dog, and we are flexible to that. Safety is a huge priority at our house. Dogs are never left unattended in our fenced in back yard, me or my husband will always be outside watching them. We also never let the dogs off leash if we take them to the public park/walking trail across the street from our house.
About: I have a lot of patience for animals and I love entertaining them, whether that’s playing with them or going on a long walk. For the younger ones, or ones that just have more energy, I would love to run them and keep them in shape. I am super flexible this summer, aside from a few weeks of travel, so whatever works for you works for me. My main priority is going to the gym, but other than that I’m all yours! Whether it’s feeding, walking, brushing, playing, or simply snuggling, I’m always giving my full attention and affection. Also, I think mental stimulation is often overlooked in animal care so I try to incorporate fun games and activities.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family since I was in high school as someone trusted to do home check-ins, stay overnight to house/pet sit on vacation, or simply go for a walk. From puppies to seniors, I’ve taken care of dogs with various needs and feel comfortable no matter their age. I work from home so I can use my lunch hour to stop by to let out the dog and play or take them for a walk. That hour may shift day to day as meetings allow but typically falls between 12 - 2pm. I’m comfortable with dogs who free roam the house while you’re gone or those who are crated. I can easily adapt to what your dog needs depending on your schedule and the purpose of my visits - whether that’s a potty break or some quality play time to get their energy out.
About: Hello Audrey here, I’ve been fostering and watching dogs for 15 years now me and my dog Cash absolutely love making new friends everyone included puppies to seniors it doesn’t matter to us, weather it’s someone who’s not fully potty trained to someone how needs medication I’m here to help. I’m currently a part time flight attendant and only work weekends so most Mondays- Thursdays I’m here to help. Ever now and again I work a time in the week but I always text back quickly so you will know my availability. I have a fence in yard and one dog named Cash to keep your best friend company, our house is two stories with rooms upstairs with creates available if you are create training, I keep all kinds of treats and toys on hand at all times and a dog wash station incase someone gets a little to muddy outside:)

“Robyn is fantastic! Great communicator, timely, attentive to details, responsible, but most importantly our sometimes shy pup Brix LOVES her and has clearly been happy and relaxed each time we come home. She a Dog Whisperer(!) Highly recommend!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner and longtime animal lover! I have hands-on experience fostering puppies, so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic playtime and basic training to keeping a close eye on routines, feeding, and potty breaks. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m happy to accommodate different personalities, energy levels, and routines to make our time together as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Pet care is a very important part of my daily routine, and I always make it a top priority. I currently have a dog and a rescue cat, so I understand the time, attention, and consistency pets need throughout the day. I’m reliable with scheduling and communication, and I’ll make sure your pet receives the care and attention they need while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their home with the same care and respect I would my own. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable trusting someone with both your pets and your home, so I prioritize safety, following your instructions, and clear communication throughout the entire stay. I’ll keep you updated and make sure your pet’s routine is maintained as closely as possible.

“Great personal care taken with Klaus, Mike was very attentive to the instructions left for him! He took great care to ensure Klaus had everything he needed while I was away. He even brought him a tennis ball to play with! I will definitely be re-booking with Mike!”

“Heather does a great job - very conscientious and caring. She's in contact when she has questions, and she's very responsive when we need to reach her. Definitely our go-to sitter!”

Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy cat, or a senior dog who just needs company and care, I’m here for it. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and treating them like one of my own. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Groveland
Jonathan was so good to our dog while we were away! We didn’t have to worry at all knowing she was in great hands which was great peace of mind for us to enjoy our weekend. He did drop in visits and spent time with her and took her for walks each time. We will absolutely use him again anytime we need someone to do drop in visits when we go away.

We just returned from our vacation yesterday and were extremely happy with the care and attention our 11yr old puppy received from Tayla. His eyes were perfectly cleaned and clear from his eye drops. She administered his medication and kept great records. She has such a great way with Biscuit. He enjoyed her daily visits. We enjoyed the daily photos she posted with a new bow in his head everyday. While away we felt very comfortable knowing he was getting the best care. We would highly recommend her to others in need of their pets care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
