More specifically, I grew up around cats for as long as I can remember and currently have two of my very own. My husband and I have seen how different their personalities are, and love them all the more for it! About: Adopted a senior cat after my soul-dog passed of old age (he was a 13 year old husky). Shelter told me I would likely only be able to have her for 6 months, but I was able to spend 2 years with her. Adopted a kitten 6 months before she passed and she taught her everything she knew before crossing the rainbow bridge, including the sit, paw, and release command I had instilled in her. Adopted another cat after my senior cat’s passing and she’s been glued to my kitten’s side ever since.

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life so I’m used to being around them. I also have had one other dog before and now have a mini dachshund. I’m very comfortable with taking care of dogs and having them in my space. I work a full time job at home, but I’m in control of my own schedule and am very flexible. I’m also available weekends and in the summer, I’m even more flexible. I take my dog out 2-3x a day depending on weather. We go on walk across the street at the park for about 15-20 min and when we are back inside, he is allowed to roam freely. He eats 2x a day with snacks in between and he always has water out. My apartment is always clean to ensure that my pup doesn’t get into anything he isn’t supposed to.
