Hello & welcome to my profile! I have been blessed by growing up around animals my entire life! My older brother has had dogs as small as a Poodle/Chihuahua mix (Ari) and as large as a Newfoundland (Armand - which I was able to help leash train)! My brother has relied on me multiple times to take care of them, and I do so lovingly! In Ari’s later years, he trusted me to give him his medication, special diet food, and assist him walk around. Additionally, I grew up around cats for as long as I can remember and currently have two of my very own. Not only cats & dogs, but bunnies, gerbils, and guinea pigs are all animals I have taken care of under my own roof! I know that each pet has their own personality and therefore needs specialized care. I know how much I think about my own when I am away from them, and I would be honored to lovingly take care of them so you don’t have to stress it!

Within my own home, I make sure to be proactive with making sure my cats have fresh water and food in their bowls at consistent times. I do not currently own any pet supplies for a dog and I live in a one bedroom apartment with limited space. I am happy to house smaller animals when need be and take care of all other pets within their own furever home!

We had a wonderful first experience with Melanie as our dog sitter. Our plans changed a few times, and she was extremely patient, flexible, and responsive throughout the process. She arrived right on time, stayed later than originally planned, and took excellent care of our dog. Melanie sent us pictures and regular updates, which gave us great peace of mind. She was pleasant, reliable, and very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend her and look forward to using her again!
Melanie is a lover of animals and dotes on her two lovely cats daily. She's also been a lifesaver for me in watching my dogs over the years when I've been away, taking care of both big and small sized dogs. Your pet will be in good hands.
Melanie is caring and compassionate. She cared for my dog on several occasions and always loved on him like he was her own. I was never concerned about my pet being looked after with love if Mel was around. I would use Melanie again without question. She is trustworthy and kind.

Schedule
I currently work full time M-F, but am consistently done with work by 3:00/4:00 pm. This gives me plenty of time to stop by and care for your animals during the week part time, or full time on the weekends!
