About: I have lived with dogs my entire life! Currently I have one small senior little dog in our home today. Dogs are allowed on furniture and we have a large fenced in yard with plenty of space for your dog to run around! I 100% work from home and have flexible schedules so that I can play/take your dog/s for a walk throughout the day based on their schedule. I am fully remote and have a flexible schedule. When the weather is nice I tend to work in our backyard so your pets can play outside all they want. Summer months my 4 & 6 year old will be around towards the end of the day and they are balls of energy and love playing with new dog friends. I have a large fenced in back yard for your pets. They would be fed according to your schedule and requirements, and regular photos provided.
About: Having grown up in a multi-pet household myself, I know first-hand the level of care and dedication that owning pets entails. I began petsitting when I was 12 years old, and have greatly enjoyed doing such in the years since. Friends, family, and neighbors have entrusted me on many occasions to take care of their pets. Aside from petsitting, I worked at a doggy daycare for nearly two years, where I built genuine and deeply meaningful bonds with all of the dogs in my care. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, temperaments, personalities, and energy levels. I have experience with training young puppies, including my own. I am very knowledgeable in reading animal body language and understanding animal behavior. I understand that every dog or cat is unique in their own way and that building trusting and meaningful relationships with animals take time and patience. With this, I try to meet every cat or dog where they are at and adjust my approach where necessary. For example, with shy or timid pets, I like to give them the space they need and work slowly to build trust and confidence to where they are fully comfortable in my presence. I am committed to making every visit a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I’m currently working part-time at the moment, so I’ll have plenty of time to play and care with your pet(s). The routine for each visit will depend on your pets’ needs, personality, temperament, and energy level. I will send pictures and updates of how your pet is doing by text throughout the day. I’ll make sure your pets have an positive and enjoyable experience, get plenty of play time/exercise, enrichment, and attention. Your pets’ safety is of utmost importance, and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure the environment is safe at all times. This could include but not limited to making sure to close or lock doors behind me, gating off rooms that are off-limit, crating your pet at night or when I leave, keeping things your pet may get to out of reach or locked away, following medication or feeding schedules, taking dogs’ out more frequently or at given times throughout day, being respectful of any allergies you, your household, or pet(s) may have. This will depend on you and your pets’ needs. As always, I’ll send updates and pictures throughout the day.
About: I've been a dog sitter for over a decade, on top of having my own pets as well. I've watched dogs as small as shih tzus and yorkies, to dogs as big pit bulls and labs. I am pretty active and love to go on walks, and would love to bring your dog with me! I currently work from home, so I have lots of flexibility throughout the day to help take care of your pets! I am available for daytime walks or check-ins almost everyday, and available to house sit any time as long as you reach out in advance! I have house-sat for friends and family for over 10+ years, and feel very comfortable saying that I have always been a clean, respectful house guest. I am a non-smoker; and I would prioritize your comfort and privacy while staying in your home, ensuring your pet is well cared for when I am there.
“Alyssa was right on time, communicative and professional! My cat requires heart medication at specific times and she was able to give it to her with ease! She is the best!”

“Walter was so courteous and showed up on time every day and I could tell me animals were taken care of. He even offered more support for the animals for an extended period when my travel was impacted by the snow. He came 2x a day for my dogs and played with them and even stayed extra time s few times, and was able to give them medications and feed them, along with my cats as well. He was also very communicative, and followed instructions. I can tell my animals are happy. I will be using Walter again!”

“Danielle was great! She is very nice and responsive and was very accommodating to our schedule. Our cat seemed very happy and everything was very clean when we got back.”

“I have only the best things to say about Magnoly! She was punctual, professional, responsive, and so very caring with my 3 pups. She handles dogs of various temperaments with grace and knows when and how to step in to avoid negative interactions between dogs. Her Report Cards were thoughtful and the photos she took showed that my dogs were so happy and comfortable with her. We will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you for everything, Magnoly!”

“Xinlin did a wonderful job with my cat (and my aquarium). Her demeanor was friendly, her timing was prompt (even though I'm lenient with timing windows), and she exudes her affection for felines. She followed my instructions, got some playtime in, and messaged me about any questions she had rather than act on assumptions like I've had other sitters do. Surprisingly, she took some wonderful photos of my cat in action, something that is hard for even ME to do. I'll definitely using her services again. Thanks Xinlin!”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
“Bill and I always feel better after Jill checks on Murphy! Jill is timely, reliable and sends photos of our girls, which always makes our day. Murphy can't wait to see Jill again!”

About: Hi! I’m Youssef and I am an incoming sophomore at the University of Vermont majoring in Finance and minoring in Musical Theater. I volunteer at the animal shelter walking all sorts of dogs for two hours a week, and would love to walk your dog! I have been taking care of animals for over ten years, ranging from dogs and cats to chickens, birds, and even fish. Please reach out if you have any questions! I am usually always free, and I love getting my daily steps in whether it be walking or running. If I am not available, I will change my schedule so no misbookings happen! I will absolutely make sure that your animals safety is my number one priority, so I will be sure not to break any routines that you have in place or wander too far with your animal!
“Chloe is an excellent dog sitter! She comes on time, makes sure my dog is taken out, and fed. She also walks and plays with her. She is very responsive and will ask if anything is needed. I also like her pricing as it is affordable. I definitely recommend her as a sitter!”

About: ⸻ I have a soft spot for pets of all ages and needs! Over the years, I’ve cared for special needs cats and dogs, including those needing insulin injections or paraplegia support. I grew up with senior dogs—a sweet chow chow named Akeala (who lived to 16!) and two Scottish terriers, Abby (14) and Duncan (10)—so I understand the patience and extra love older pets need. My 9-5 role is fully remote, which gives me some flexibility in my schedule. Availability may vary, so please feel free to check my calendar and reach out with any questions. I’m committed to giving your pet the very best care. Throughout the day, they’ll enjoy plenty of potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m happy to take them for walks, welcome them into my home for boarding, or provide companionship for a set period of time. While I rarely offer in-home house sitting at the owner’s residence, I’m always open to discussing your needs. Please share your pet’s favorite spots, routines, or activities ahead of time so I can make their stay as happy and comfortable as possible. I’m happy to accommodate special requests and tailor my care to suit your pet’s unique personality and needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Tewksbury
Annabelle was wonderful! She took care of our 15-year-old dog with drop-in visits while we were away for a long weekend. Our dog can be nervous with new people, and Annabelle was incredibly patient and caring with her. She reached out to me a few times to ask if there was anything she could do to help make our dog more comfortable with her visits. I gave her a few suggestions, and she made sure to try them. By the end of the weekend, our dog had really started to warm up to her! Annabelle was very thorough with every visit and kept us updated while we were away. I really appreciated that she cared enough to ask questions and make the extra effort to ensure our senior dog was as comfortable and well cared for as possible. We felt very comfortable knowing she was in good hands and would absolutely recommend Annabelle!

Without a doubt, best sitter I’ve ever had. See my previous 5 star reviews. Alyssa is nothing short of amazing. If I died, I would trust her to take care of my pets for the rest of their lives, no question and no exaggeration. Begrudgingly, you should definitely book with Alyssa. Even if it might make her too busy for my own 💔

Adrianna has been amazing with our 3month old Oatmeal! She’s so kind and our Oatmeal absolutely loves her. Always on time and great communication! Always letting us know how he’s doing and keeping us informed on how his behavior has been! We are so lucky to have Adrianna, definitely would continue working with her!
