About: Please read my availability before booking :) Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with both dogs and cats, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with them. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers for years, and I truly enjoy caring for animals like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, walks, or just keeping your pets company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. You can trust that I’ll provide the best care possible and treat your furry family members with the same attention and affection I’d give my own. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I currently work in a medical office Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. Though I am able to house sit these days, I am unable to let them out during the day while I am at work. Saturday-Monday I am free to give all my attention to your pets! I am very energetic, just like your pups. I love to walk with or without a dog. If I am pet sitting, I am very good at sticking to directions so I can care for your animals exactly how you want them to be cared for while throwing in a couple extra play times!
“Jupiter has been amazing! Often times, we would have to add or cancel day sitting sessions and Jupiter never had any problems with the change. Only reason we are leaving is because we were moving, otherwise we would keep Jupiter for our dogs entire life!”

“Danielle was terrific! She was so quick to respond to me and she was so good to my diabetic cat. My cat has some trust issues but warmed right up to Danielle, which made being away so much easier. Danielle also provided detailed updates, which I was so appreciative of! I will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and have worked at a horse barn for 4 years. You name it I’ll take care of it! I’m currently working part time but my work is pretty flexible if I get advance notice. I’ve been trying to build my pet sitting business so let me know! I care for animals in clients homes. I am insured and put forward the utmost effort to ensure both safety and fun for the animals in my care. My goal is to turn every interaction into a positive experience.
“Exceptional pet care! Thu provides a perfect balance of professionalism and genuine love for animals. She followed all instructions meticulously and sent adorable photo updates. My dog didn’t just cope—they thrived!" 10/10 recommend!!”

About: I have had dogs for 20 years and will treat your dogs like my own. Every visit will include time to sit and visit. I will always walk dogs on leash and take extra time to care for your dog like my own. I can crate if needed for your dog.
“Xinlin did a wonderful job with my cat (and my aquarium). Her demeanor was friendly, her timing was prompt (even though I'm lenient with timing windows), and she exudes her affection for felines. She followed my instructions, got some playtime in, and messaged me about any questions she had rather than act on assumptions like I've had other sitters do. Surprisingly, she took some wonderful photos of my cat in action, something that is hard for even ME to do. I'll definitely using her services again. Thanks Xinlin!”

“Sheylah took care of my dogs for a week with drop in visit She was always on time, very Friendly and always send check in messages with pictures of your dogs very friendly girl definitely hire her again.”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
“Caroline was so great, Harvey absolutely loves her! From the second she introduced herself to him, he took to her. He is normally anxious and a little kiddish but Caroline did such an amazing job making him feel comfortable. Absolutely will be hoping to use her again!”

“Carina was great at taking care of Missy! She checked in on time each day and spent time playing with her, fed her, cleaned the litter box as we had requested her to. Our little Missy became comfortable with her on the first meet and greet itself. We will definitely hire her again when needed.”

About: Hi! I am a Biomedical Sciences Pre-Vet Major at UNH, and have had animals my entire life. I have experience handling dogs of all ages (newborn to senior) which includes obedience training, grooming and raising. I've been the main caretaker of my dogs since I was 10 years old. I have experience pet sitting client dogs, cats, horses, goats and pigs, although I am new to Rover! Previously, I get clients through word of mouth and Facebook. I have 3 dogs, and have raised 3 litters of puppies! I have worked closely with a dog trainer/walker and have helped out before when her clients were in need of a sitter. Fostering dogs was also a big part of my life growing up, I helped home 14 dogs throughout my adolescence! There was a time where I even helped rehabilitate a baby bird! I have spent over 70 hours shadowing and interning at Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence (MA), getting practice handling and inspecting dogs and cats. I am currently a full-time student at UNH, but home for the summers! I am available most days of the week, but do work part time at an ice cream stand, and in the past I adjust my hours around my clients needs (to the best of my ability). When visiting a client's home, I always make sure to check with the client on where keys are kept, which doors are to be used/locked and the typical routine. I try to maintain a calm environment as to reduce the stress of the animal, by using a calm tone and keeping an eye on body language to maintain boundaries. I have my own car which expands the area in which I can take the dog for walks, while also allowing me to transport the animal in case of emergency. This past summer I enjoyed taking one of my clients to different walking trails and dog friendly locations throughout my area. At my own house, I utilize crates and baby gates to provide safe, calm, separate spaces for rest while also allowing the opportunity for play.
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in North Billerica is $25
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Billerica
Without a doubt, best sitter I’ve ever had. See my previous 5 star reviews. Alyssa is nothing short of amazing. If I died, I would trust her to take care of my pets for the rest of their lives, no question and no exaggeration. Begrudgingly, you should definitely book with Alyssa. Even if it might make her too busy for my own 💔

This was our first time using Melanie's service, and the first time leaving our 2y old whippet Willow alone for an extended period of time (12 hours). Willow could sense we would be gone for a while and howled for the first 5 minutes after we left (we watched her on our webcam). Melanie came for two one-hour visits and followed my detailed instructions to the letter. I communicated to her Willow's experience when we left and she said she'd be sure to give Willow extra TLC, which she clearly did. Each time I checked the webcam, Willow was lying on or in her bed snoozing. Melanie came at lunchtime for an hour and let Willow out to do her business and then played with her in the backyard, giving her the treats I left on the counter when she left. Melanie came again at supper time, took Willow out back again, and then gave her dinner. She followed my instructions to mix the refrigerated raw food and veggies with the dry kibble and spent extra time with Willow keeping her company. Melanie shared several pictures at each visit and was in continual contact during the day, letting me know her ETA for each visit. We will surely use Melanie again and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
