“Jupiter has been amazing! Often times, we would have to add or cancel day sitting sessions and Jupiter never had any problems with the change. Only reason we are leaving is because we were moving, otherwise we would keep Jupiter for our dogs entire life!”

“We had a great experience with Annette! She took the time to come beforehand and learn our guinea pigs’ routine, which we really appreciated. She was reliable, attentive, and took great care of them while we were away. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Natalie was amazing. My cat is a temperamental older kittie, and Natalie was incredible, letting Pluto set the tone. My cat is on blood thinners, and Natalie took great photos of medicine administration, really putting my mind at ease.”

“Annabelle took wonderful care of my dog, Abby, and my cat, Artemis, while I was away. Abby is recovering from a leg injury and has a detailed care routine, including medication and extra support getting around. Annabelle followed every instruction, made sure Abby received all of her medication, helped support her injured leg when needed, and cleaned up after her outside. She also made sure both pets always had clean food and water bowls, gave them plenty of attention and affection, and left everything neat and organized. When I got home, both Abby and Artemis were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Throughout the entire stay, Annabelle was incredibly responsible, responsive, and dependable. She kept me updated, replied quickly to messages, and paid attention to all of the little details. Caring for an injured dog takes extra patience and compassion, and she handled Abby’s recovery with genuine care. She treated my pets like they were her own, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Annabelle truly went above and beyond, and I would absolutely trust her with Abby and Artemis again without hesitation. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: I am a registered nurse with a lifelong love of animals. I have always had pets since I was a little girl. I worked at an animal hospital throughout high school and college, I gained a lot of pet care experience there. I also worked on a farm growing up where I took care of horses, cats and dogs! I know how important it is to trust someone with your animals, as I have 2 kitties I care for very much! I am confident in handling all types of pet personalities and needs. I currently work 3 days per week not on a set schedule. I have 4 days off per week which is why I would love to do dog walking/sitting on those off days! I live in a dog friendly neighborhood in Watertown, MA. I love to walk around Fresh Pond, I also live near several dog parks! I can’t wait to meet your pup :)
“My dog is not a very easy going dog if you first meet her but she loves Rebecca the first time they met. Rebecca did a really great job taking care of our dog and cat and our home. We are really impressed and grateful for her and would highly recommend!”

“Alyssa is, without a doubt, the best sitter we’ve ever had. We can leave our animals in her hands knowing that we might as well be leaving them with family; she’s that good. It’s a bonus that she takes the best pictures of our pets I’ve ever seen too! I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Sheylah has been wonderful. She’s reliable, easy to communicate with, and gives me real peace of mind. I really appreciate knowing my dog gets a friendly visit and a bathroom break during the day. Highly recommend!”

“Philip did a wonderful job taking care of my senior cat while I was away. He was always communicative, keeping me updated and making me feel confident that she was in good hands. He made sure she was fed on schedule and that all of her food, water, and litter were kept clean. It was clear that he genuinely cared about her well-being, and I truly appreciated the attention and kindness he showed. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: Hi! I am a Biomedical Sciences Pre-Vet Major at UNH, and have had animals my entire life. I have experience handling dogs of all ages (newborn to senior) which includes obedience training, grooming and raising. I've been the main caretaker of my dogs since I was 10 years old. I have experience pet sitting client dogs, cats, horses, goats and pigs, although I am new to Rover! Previously, I get clients through word of mouth and Facebook. I have 3 dogs, and have raised 3 litters of puppies! I have worked closely with a dog trainer/walker and have helped out before when her clients were in need of a sitter. Fostering dogs was also a big part of my life growing up, I helped home 14 dogs throughout my adolescence! There was a time where I even helped rehabilitate a baby bird! I have spent over 70 hours shadowing and interning at Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence (MA), getting practice handling and inspecting dogs and cats. I am currently a full-time student at UNH, but home for the summers! I am available most days of the week, but do work part time at an ice cream stand, and in the past I adjust my hours around my clients needs (to the best of my ability). When visiting a client's home, I always make sure to check with the client on where keys are kept, which doors are to be used/locked and the typical routine. I try to maintain a calm environment as to reduce the stress of the animal, by using a calm tone and keeping an eye on body language to maintain boundaries. I have my own car which expands the area in which I can take the dog for walks, while also allowing me to transport the animal in case of emergency. This past summer I enjoyed taking one of my clients to different walking trails and dog friendly locations throughout my area. At my own house, I utilize crates and baby gates to provide safe, calm, separate spaces for rest while also allowing the opportunity for play.
“Courtney is great. She go along great with our energetic puppy! She sent so many cute photos of our dogs and a report of how the day went. We look forward to having her babysit our dogs again!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
