Chewbacca has various specific needs, including oral medication and prescription diet, and he gets very nervous when first dropped off. We have never had such a strong sense of peace of mind with a dog sitter as we did this weekend. Karen was extremely communicative, updated us through text and pictures throughout the day, and always made sure to go the extra mile so Chewbacca felt safe and cared for. We will absolutely be calling her again!”

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life so I’m used to being around them. I also have had one other dog before and now have a mini dachshund. I’m very comfortable with taking care of dogs and having them in my space. I work a full time job at home, but I’m in control of my own schedule and am very flexible. I’m also available weekends and in the summer, I’m even more flexible. I take my dog out 2-3x a day depending on weather. We go on walk across the street at the park for about 15-20 min and when we are back inside, he is allowed to roam freely. He eats 2x a day with snacks in between and he always has water out. I play with him as much as I can throughout the day to make sure he doesn’t get too bored with his day too! My apartment is always clean to ensure that my pup doesn’t get into anything he isn’t supposed to. Lastly, my apartment building is secure as you need a key fob or someone to buzz you in to enter the building.

Over the past few years my family has been dog sitting for months at a time and I love taking them for long walks and spending time with them! We host one guest dog at a time (or a bonded pair) to ensure each pup receives personalized care and feels at home.
