About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.
About: My schedule is very specific working around work shifts! I’m very communicative and we can work something out that is best for both of us!! I have both personal and professional experience with cats and dogs. I’ve worked with dogs during my time at Essex Tech. I have also have basic experiences with small animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. During my time there I learned the basics of training, grooming and overall behavior. This all led me to have a better grasp at caring for dogs and what their needs are. I have my own cat named Fasa and a dog named Summer, so I have personal experience with them! He’s the buff kitty in my photos! I have also worked at a doggy daycare located in Salem called Walk A Pup where they strive to provide a safe and enriching environment for the dogs in their care. During those six months, I not only walked dogs but also did basic obedience and evening check-ins at client's homes. I was also briefly a bather at Petsmart where watching behavior is a big aspect. Currently I work there caring for the animals we sell. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified. Working part-time fills in a lot of my time and my schedule is often on a week-by-week basis. My availability varies, so it’s best for you to just message me to find out if my schedule works with yours! I know leaving your pet to a stranger is very nerve-wracking and scary. However, I like to reassure you that because of my experience, I am equipped to make sure that your pet has the care they need while you are away for work, vacation, or any other situation. I am more than happy to update you as many times are you need me to. I am also certified in Pet CPR and First aid and have a car that allows me to drive your pet somewhere if something were to happen.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I’ve walked and fed them, and made sure they were happy at home. I have my own 11 year old beagle/terrier/boxer mix dog Bailey who I love to take care of, he’s my best friend. I’m a college student, and I have times throughout the week especially on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I like to bring calming and loving energy into every home. I love to make sure each pet is comfortable. I love to take dogs on walks, play with them inside and outside, and make sure they are getting fed and cared for.
“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”
About: I love spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I am responsible, dependable, and will treat every pet like my own! I also have experience with dog sitting and walking. I love being active and outside. I also am at school missing my puppies at home so I will give your all of the attention, this is just as much for me as it is for them! I am currently in classes so I am working around that but can be very flexible on weekends and Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays after 10 am! I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
