About: Hello! My name is Kate and I am in my early 30s. My mother is a veterinarian and I grew up around dogs - both our own family pets and animal hospital patients. Growing up, my family has had several dogs - all labs or lab mixes. I have extensive house-sitting experience for dogs of all sizes/breeds and absolutely love dedicating time to dogs. I have both worked at an animal hospital, and as a full-time dog walker. I am familiar with various leash types and am comfortable walking high-energy dogs, dogs who do not do well with other dogs etc.. I do have experience watching special-needs dogs and I am completely comfortable doing so ! I took a break from Rover while my work schedule was not compatible, but I am excited to be back! I have a Master's degree in Higher Education from Harvard and am currently working as college counselor at a private school. I have summer off, so I can dedicate plenty of time to your pup while you are away on vacation! My boyfriend and I have a dog of our own, Ellie, who is a very sweet doodle-mix. I am more than happy to sit at your home if your pup would not get along with Ellie, and we can always do a meet and greet of the dogs if it would be helpful. During the summer, I only work remotely with private clients as a college counselor, so my schedule is very flexible! I can essentially be with your pet for as many hours as they need - and can really mold my schedule around what works best for you! Dog care is always a priority in my weekly/daily routine - and I love that! If your pup comes to stay here, we tend to take Ellie on several long walks a day, both off-leash and leashed, as long as it is not too hot. We also have a small yard where we often play frisbee, or just let Ellie sniff around while we sit outside. Again, we have a doodle mix named Ellie, who will be turning 6 this summer. She gets along with dogs, but is generally more human-focused. We have a small, mostly fenced yard, as well as several walking trails nearby. My significant other is also a teacher who has the summer off, so your pup/cat will get double the attention!

About: I love animals and giving thwm so many snuggles. I have taken care of 4 dogs at once for three days. Two who are sisters, and very energetic puppies. I have that high energy, but know how to be neutral too. I'll send photo and video updates...except of the ones where I am singing and dancing to my own music, which are songs about your pet. What can I say? Feeling inspired! I work full-time during school hours M-F, until anywhere between 3:15 and occasionally 5. I am available M-F 6am-7:30AM and 4pm-9:45pm, and if you're nearby I can house and pet sit overnight! I am very affectionate and love taking photos and videos of the pets I take care of. I always send them to the owner as I know how much it meant to me, when my cat was alive. Communicate safety rules with owners prior to pet sitting, and making sure I know where everything is located, such as, food, leash, vet phone, medications

Our Aussie/Border Collie has extreme anxiety and attachment issues, but I could tell he immediately relaxed around her! We are so thankful to have found her!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and a bunch of other animals, and I have always loved taking care of them. My family, neighbors, and friends have all relied on me to take care of their pets over the years, whether it's for walks, check-ins, or overnights, and I would love to do the same for your pet. I'm a college student living back at home for the summer and have plenty of time during the week for quick check-ins and walks, and I will be able to stay overnight most weekdays and over the weekends. I am very comfortable around dogs and would have no problem going on walks, crating your dog, administering most medicine, or doing any other tasks that may be required.

We hired Selyn to stay with him while we went to a wedding and let her know he may not do anything but stare at the door until we got back. Selyn was perfect, very calm and waited for him to come to her. She brought toys and a did a great painting activity with him. I highly recommend her!”

“Zach cleary took good care of the menagerie while we were away. The dogs and cats were calm, not anxious in any way, when we got home. Also, to my delight, my plants were happy and best of all, the house was clean. The only criticism I can come up with is that I'd have enjoyed a few more pictures. Much more important to me is that Zach actually cared, as I could tell when our flight was delayed and Zach made an extra trip back to the house to make sure everyone was okay.”

About: Hi and thanks for considering me to take care of your dog (s)! I may not have years of experience in owning a dog, (just got our 1st puppy last year!) but I am a huge lover of animals and have years of experience in taking care of them. I'm the girl who stocks up on treats for when my coworkers bring their dogs to work! I'm the girl who cant walk past a dog on a trail without wanting to stop and pet the dogs. I am loving, caring, and will spoil your fur baby with lots of playtime, love, and a fun run or walks! Let's talk about you and your dog's needs! I do work full time from 9-5pm Monday through Friday, with most weekends off, But I can check in on your babies before or after work, if it's just drop ins, or schedule walks. We do live in a nice quiet and low traffic safe neighborhood with plenty of trails around to walk your dog, and I will always abide and follow any special instructions you may have with the utmost care and respect, so that he or she, and YOU, will be happy.

About: Dogs have always been my favorite animal. I grew up with family dogs my whole life. My dog, Ellie, is an amazing 13 year old lab-mix that we have had since she was 8 weeks old. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a stay at home mom with a lot of flexibility in my schedule. We are an active family that spend a lot of time outside and always have Ellie with us. I treat pets as another member of the family and ensure they are well cared for. I would love to help with all of your furry friends needs! I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of flexibility in my schedule. About: Growing up in a large family taught me responsibility early on, while also beginning to pet-sit at age 14. Though I initially pursued pre-vet studies driven by my love for animals, I chose to focus on sustainable agriculture and food access while continuing to care deeply for my own pets and yours! About: I have been dog sitting for others for 4 years now and have had cats and dogs most of my life! I am an avid pet lover and love helping out pet parents care for their fur babies. I have trained basic skills, potty trained and crate trained dogs. I am no longer offering boarding or house sitting as I have a new needy roommate, (pictured on my profile) Daisy 🌼 I am currently in graduate school and have an internship part time. My schedule is fairly flexible and I am able to be home often if needed for a pet. I am a good fit for dogs that are able to manage 6 hours alone for internship days and home the other days of the week! I live in a quiet home with another dog and no children. I have a small fenced in yard with a pet friendly neighborhood to walk in. I can accommodate dogs that are not friendly with other dogs if needed. I can easily crate your dog if needed but they are welcome on furniture in the house if that is more comfortable for them, especially at night.

“I have used Rover for years, and Erin has been by far the best dog sitter I have had the pleasure to work with. She house sat my 14-year-old Yorkie, Molly, for a week. Molly, in addition to being an elderly little one that requires daily oral meds, suffers from separation anxiety. She’s an extremely picky eater that tends to mope around and not eat when I have to go out of town and can’t take her with me. Erin kept my little girl company and was as sweet and kind to her as if she had known Molly for ages! She medicated Molly as instructed, took her for her little old lady slow walks around the yard, and sent me lots of updates and pictures. Erin was not only amazing with my Molly, but she was also very respectful of my house and even offered to wait for me to be home before leaving in case there were any issues with my flights.
