“Brye took wonderful care of my two dogs. One of them is very attached to me and it was nice to see him connect with her. She was very on top of their needs, including their medications. My mind was at ease while I was away knowing my pups were well taken care of!!”

“This was my first experience with having someone from Rover house sit but will looking to keep booking Scout! She treated my pets with the same amount of love and was sure to send plenty of pictures while I was away. She made sure to ask about their schedule, preferences, and medications. I have a fairly reactive 65lb pound dog and she was walked with no issues which was a big relief for myself. Would definitely recommend for booking!”

About: I've been around many types of animals all my life, & especially over the past 40 years having various types of dogs & cats lovingly cared for in my home as an additional member of our family. Some were puppies & kittens & most were all rescues who all brought us many years of joy & happiness until the inevitable sad time came for them to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Let me help bring a stress free time for both you and your pet during your time of separation, and put your mind at ease, whether your travel is for a family emergency, an event, or a vacation. I'll even provide you with periodic communications & photos to help ease your mind. I'm retired now & I enjoy walking around my apt complex & seeing all the different dogs that live here. I've also been pet sitting cats, & dogs for other family members, friends, & neighbors. Including dog walking to help my neighbors out with their fur babies when they knew they were going to have a long day @ work. I prefer to pet sit in your home because it's less stress on your fur babies since they'll be in the surroundings they're used too.

About: With over 10 years of pet care experience, I've cared for various animals including dogs, cats, birds, farm animals, and lizards. I spent 2 years working at a doggy daycare, developing essential skills. Additionally, I traveled across Europe for 5 weeks, pet sitting from London, France and Spain, enriching my expertise with diverse pet care challenges and environments. One thing I do have a lot of is TIME! So please feel free to to reach out with any dates, times, or questions. :) Safety & trust are most important to me as I always want to create a safe space for any animal in my care as well as having trust amongst the pets and owners.

“Emily was great @ coordinating with both my mom and myself when we were both out of town (and my dog was staying with my parents.) She was able to handle my skittish little dude, and he was happy when the folks came home.”

About: I am a self-described "childless cat lady" who is an equal opportunity lover of animals. I specialize in caring for senior dogs and cats of all ages. I currently have 3 senior pets (one dog and two cats) and I am an approved foster for Old Dogs New Digs, an organization that focuses on finding homes for senior pets in need. I have extensive experience caring for pets with special needs. My previous cat, Clark, was with me from kittenhood until he passed at 16 from cancer. During this final few years, I administered twice daily thyroid medication, kidney supplements, prescription diets and managed his arthritis. I also manage all of these same issues with my current pets. Because of this experience, I have attuned my intuition and understanding of the subtle ways pets communicate with us to express their needs. I know how stressful it can be to leave a pet with specific medical needs in somebody else's care and I am committed to providing that ease of mind for others with special-needs pets. I work full-time from home, so I am available for pets who need extra potty breaks, specific medication needs, or may have trouble being alone for long periods of time. I do go into an office once a week, but I am rarely away for more than 6 hours. We can discuss any specific care needs your pet has and make arrangements for that time. At lunch and in the evenings, we spend time on walks or hanging out in the yard. Nighttime is for couch snuggles on my big sectional! I live in a two-story condo with my friendly, laid-back dog, Luke, and two friendly, dog-savvy cats. We have access to a large, shared yard on a quiet cove. While the yard is not fenced, it is set back and abuts trails. There's a great spot for swimming nearby if your dog likes the water! I do have stairs, so please let me know if your dog has mobility needs and we can work together on a solution. I utilize many rugs for my own dog to be senior-friendly. Your dog is welcome to sleep in bed with me, or on their own bed or in a crate. My experience fostering has taught me a lot about what dogs need when they are in a new environment. Special care will be given to make sure they are as happy as possible while you are away.

About: I have worked as an animal sitter since graduating from college in 2010. We lost our two adopted dogs this year at the ripe old ages of 17 and 14 and have not brought any new indoor pets into our home. I have volunteered with animals and worked in a veterinary setting with large animals (horses mostly!) I graduated with a degree in animal sciences. I am well equipped for special needs dogs with a large dog stroller and wheelchair! I work outside of the home 4 days a week and am home Friday through Sunday to spend as much time with your pet as they need! I love to run, so if you have a high-energy dog, then reach out to me! We can wear each other out. Our home is dog friendly with a large fenced in yard with indoor access for dogs that prefer to make their own indoor/outdoor schedule. We love to have pups and cats snuggle on the couch with us or play in our large yard. We have farm animals, lots of new smells and places to explore!

“Thank you so much for the peace of mind you gave me while I was away. I can't tell you how much I appreciate how well you took care of the boys and everything else. Thanks again.”

About: Hi, I’m Jessica—part-time animal whisperer, full-time pet hype woman. I was raised by Golden Retrievers (okay, not literally—but close), showed rabbits on a national level, and have trained dogs with trick titles because “sit” just didn’t feel like enough. I’ve worked with everything from high-energy herders to senior snuggle monsters and treat every pet like they’re the main character. Whether your pup needs structured walks, mental stimulation, or just someone to tell them they’re a very good boy/girl 37 times a day—I’m your sitter. I understand how important it is to find someone who truly gets animals (and won’t just phone it in). Expect reliable communication, lots of updates, and care tailored to your pet’s quirks and needs. Bonus: I’m a pro at enrichment, routine, and even the spicy personalities. Let’s chat! I’d love to meet your four-legged bestie I currently work as a nanny, and the kiddo is in school all day. I am always outdoors and start my days early! And usually can sneak in late night times! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my approach stays the same: calm, consistent, and completely customized to your pet’s needs. In your home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, walks, meds, play, naps—it’s all part of creating a stress-free experience. I respect your space, keep things tidy, and give regular updates so you never feel out of the loop. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family (unless your pet prefers some space—and I totally respect that too). I offer a safe, structured environment where dogs can relax, play, and decompress. I’m experienced with multi-dog households, crate routines, enrichment activities, and I’m mindful of each animal’s temperament, boundaries, and energy level. Whether they’re here for a walk, a weekend, or a month—I prioritize safety, structure, and plenty of love.

I started out as a handler at a doggy daycare/dog walking, and made my way up to a veterinary technician at an animal hospital where I administered medicine/bathed/ and cared for animals after surgery amongst many other things. 16. Jessica R.
“We are so grateful we found Jessica! We have a super energetic husky, a nervous rescue mutt, and a senior rabbit who pretty much rules the house—and somehow, Jessica won all of them over within minutes. Our husky came back from walks calm and happy (a miracle in itself), and our rescue pup, who normally takes ages to warm up to new people, was snuggling up to them by day two. Even the rabbit seemed more relaxed—like he’d been on a spa retreat. What really stood out was the thoughtfulness: Jessica sent detailed updates, adorable photos, and even flagged when one of the dogs seemed like she might be coming down with something (turned out she was—early catch saved us a vet bill!). Trustworthy, kind, and clearly loves animals. We’ve already booked them again. Five stars, paws, whiskers, whatever—just book her.”
