I grew up with a Labrador who showed me the joy of unconditional love, and I recently had to say goodbye to my sweet girl after 12 wonderful years together. Now, I get to share that love with my two young kids (ages 4 and 6), who absolutely adore dogs and treat every pup like their own playmate. Because I work full time during the week, I reserve dog care for weekends only—this way I can dedicate my attention and energy to your pup. My weekends are open for long walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, and my kids and I love having the extra time to focus on making each dog feel happy and cared for. By keeping my schedule this way, I can promise that your furry family member won’t just “fit into” my day—they’ll become a part of my family for the day(s). When caring for dogs, I focus on keeping them active, loved, and comfortable. My two young kids (ages 4 and 6) have endless energy and love to play, so visiting pups get plenty of attention and interaction. I live in a quiet town with lots of sidewalks and nearby neighborhoods, which makes for safe and enjoyable walks. While I don’t have a fenced-in backyard, I do have plenty of grassy space for outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate dogs if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel secure. Whether it’s playtime, exercise, or downtime, I’ll make sure your pup feels right at home.

About: I have had 2 dogs for the last 6 years although one recently passed and have helped out with dogs since I was 16. Not great with cats but could watch it needed. I can administer medication as well as I had to for my dog. Monday and Friday I can use my lunch break for a visit, middle of the week days , I am available after 3, weekends are wide open I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space and our dog cannoli is very very friendly and will love to have a friend. She is up to date with all vaccinations.

About: I have recently lost my 14.5 year old husky who enjoyed walks every day and all the Rover dogs that stayed with us in the past with Rover boarding. I have recently added service to stay in the pet owners home as well. I love the responsibility of caring for, feeding, cleaning up after and watching dogs socialize and simply enjoy life. One of the most memorable experiences of my childhood is when our golden retriever had 11 puppies. When they were several weeks old, my Mom agreed to bring in one or two for show and tell to my fourth grade class. She couldn't decide which ones to bring and much to my surprise (as well as my classmates), she brought in all 11! I'd love to care for your pet! I work full time during the week primarily remotely. My weekends are for the most part dedicated to caring for various pets. I have lots of love and attention to give to your pet. I have several years of Rover boarding experience and have recently added service to care for pets in their own homes as well. I am very calm, considerate and safety conscious and can't wait to meet your pet.

“Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! About: We are a family of four! We have my kids 50 percent of the time- they are 8 and 6! We have a fenced in yard that the animals can run in! I work from home so I’m home majority of the day- I leave for some meetings randomly but not for too long. We are members at a great dog park in NH that we take our dogs to often especially with nicer weather! We have two dogs- A 3 year old Bernadoodle and a 2 year old long haired chihuahua. Both very friendly with other animals! We also have a 10 month Mancoon Cat who loves playing with the dogs and acts like a dog herself!
