About: I am a dedicated, attentive dog mom to my boy, Dobby, who is 10 years old. I adopted him when he was 8 weeks old and spent many hours training him to be the incredible dog he has always been. I have been a dog sitter on an overnight-basis for about 20 years now and have even more experience with care on a daily or drop-in basis for feeding, walking, playing or simply just some love and attention. I believe my love and compassion for not only my own dog but all dogs translates well into the meticulous care I provide. I have a proven track record of forming bonds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds and I look forward to becoming buddies with yours! I work from home on a freelance/contract basis so pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine. My schedule is flexible as a graphic designer and web developer so I will easily be able to fit your pet into my schedule. Safety and comfort of the dog are my top concerns and I take them very seriously. To address these needs, I go over what your dog is used to when you are home (i.e. set feed times, set walking route, specific leash requirements, schedule, etc.) and what your typical protocols are then adhere to what your dog is used to as strictly as possible. I believe a safe and comfortable dog is a happy dog and it is my job to ensure that through providing as much familiarity as possible.

About: I've been a lifelong animal lover and have cared many of my own pets, including dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles. I also have professional experience working in boarding/daycare and volunteering at humane societies. I've handled pets of all ages, personalities and needs. I raised my dog from 8 weeks old (and been involved with even younger litters) so I'm very familiar with puppy and adolescent care and training. About: After deciding to not become a Veterinarian and instead purse a career in design, I take any opportunity to be involved with animals! I have volunteered at animal hospitals, shelters, pet sitting etc as I wait for the time to adopt a puppy of my own. I've taken care of puppies, dogs, cats, disabled animals and even reptiles for family and friends of family for years. I'd often be the go-to option for family friends when they needed someone reliable to come check in on their furry family, house-sit for extended trips or drop in to give important prescriptions to pets. Like I have done in the past, I'll always care for your pets as if they are my own - which means even a regular visit for breakfast/dinner means a little play time outside (if applicable) and a few extra belly scratches! Fortunately I am a full-time, remote, self-employed graphic designer so my schedule during the week is very flexible. I can bring my work anywhere too so even if there is work to be done, house-sitting is convenient for me to adapt to and daily visits are an easy addition to my schedule with at least 1 days notice. If your fur babies come to my house for pet-sitting, I have a large fenced in yard to walk them or let them run. With my work from home schedule, I like to get up and stretch my own legs often through the day so many walks around the yard or down the rail trail are possible. Though my apartment is 2 floors, the stairs aren't too steep for our 4-legged friends and they are welcome to roam. At night, if the puppy/dog needs to be in a crate I have the space to accommodate their little portable bedrooms (crate).

About: I graduated from college with a degree in Veterinary Technology. I currently work at vet hospital in Maine. I have been with animals all my life. And have two of my own. I work full time so during the week days afternoon potty time will be hard but if they can handle over 6+ hours of being alone then it will work perfectly. I would care for your animal at your house so it will be easier on your animal and not be anxious when at a new place. I will give them lots of cuddles and love. I treat them like they are my own. We will play all sorts of games too.

By keeping my schedule this way, I can promise that your furry family member won’t just “fit into” my day—they’ll become a part of my family for the day(s). When caring for dogs, I focus on keeping them active, loved, and comfortable. My two young kids (ages 4 and 6) have endless energy and love to play, so visiting pups get plenty of attention and interaction. I live in a quiet town with lots of sidewalks and nearby neighborhoods, which makes for safe and enjoyable walks. While I don’t have a fenced-in backyard, I do have plenty of grassy space for outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate dogs if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel secure. Whether it’s playtime, exercise, or downtime, I’ll make sure your pup feels right at home.

About: Besides owning a cat for most of my life with special medical needs, and petsitting for neighbors with 2 cats and a dog, I also have an education background in Zoology & Animal Behavior! This makes me a great fit with all kinds of pets, and shows you my dedication to the creatures we love. Although I have no formal education in dog training, I worked in a facility that trained dogs, and my lovely coworkers there passed me some valuable knowledge that has deepened my understanding (and love!) of dogs. I'm currently working part-time, which leaves me pretty flexible for sitting as long as I have plenty of notice! However, I do reserve Saturdays for time with my friends & family. Otherwise, the sky's the limit! I can easily and safely crate animals as needed, with professional experience in this area. In case of any kind of accidents, pet parents will always be notified immediately, and the area will be cleaned as necessary. I take the safety & cleanliness of your pets just as seriously as their enjoyment of their time with me.
