About: Hi there! I am a student athlete at University of New Hampshire, trying to make some extra money for towards my education! I have been a pet owner my whole life, from hamsters, to fish, to lizards and frogs, to guinea pigs, and lastly to dogs :) Pet Care for me works mostly on weekends but I am totally open to some school nights dependent on my class, practice, and game schedule! I will make sure to take good care of your pets! I will give them plenty of attention, play with them if they will, and of course feed them, freshen up their water, and keep them out of trouble!!
About: My schedule is very specific because of classes and working around work shifts! I’m very communicative and we can work something out that is best for both of us!! I have both personal and professional experience with cats and dogs. I’ve worked with dogs during my time at Essex Tech. I have also have basic experiences with small animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. During my time there I learned the basics of training, grooming and overall behavior. This all led me to have a better grasp at caring for dogs and what their needs are. I have my own cat named Fasa, so I have personal experience with them! He’s the buff kitty in my photos! I have also worked at a doggy daycare located in Salem called Walk A Pup where they strive to provide a safe and enriching environment for the dogs in their care. During those six months, I not only walked dogs but also did basic obedience and evening check-ins at client's homes. I was also briefly a bather at Petsmart where watching behavior is a big aspect. Currently I work there caring for the animals we sell. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified. Working part-time fills in a lot of my time and my schedule is often on a week-by-week basis. My availability varies, so it’s best for you to just message me to find out if my schedule works with yours! At the moment I have my Tuesdays completely free! I know leaving your pet to a stranger is very nerve-wracking and scary. However, I like to reassure you that because of my experience, I am equipped to make sure that your pet has the care they need while you are away for work, vacation, or any other situation. I am more than happy to update you as many times are you need me to. I am also certified in Pet CPR and First aid and have a car that allows me to drive your pet somewhere if something were to happen.
About: I’ve been caring for pets in my home since I was little and once I had my license I began pet and house sitting in my area. My favorite is when they need to be walked so we both get exercise and fresh air. I have experience with all kinds of dogs from different backgrounds including rescues! I am a college student in the Durham area who has a pretty flexible schedule during the day through out the week and on most of the weekends. I have had pets my whole life and have been watching pets in other peoples homes for about 5 years. I am comfortable caring for animals in new environments.
About: I have had years of experience with other peoples pets, and primarily my own. I have taken care of my own Dogs, cats, snakes, hamsters, horses, and fish over the years. I’ve grown up with puppies, and currently have my own 2 kittens, and also have had elderly dogs, cats, and horses before. I have always adored animals, and have always been an important part in my life so I would love to make more furry friends with your pets:) I currently am enrolled in school at The University of New Hampshire. My schedule is super open this semester since I took summer classes so my work load would be easier. In home care : I would make sure to send client photos if l was boarding their pet at my apartment, and make sure I follow the exact instructions given. When other people watch my pets , there’s always the anxiety of making sure they are treated well, and taken care of. Clients home: if I took care of the clients pets, I would make sure that I followed all the rules given and more. I understand it can be uncomfortable for a stranger to be in your house, so trust and reassurance everything is safe it’s important as a pet and home owner
About: I've helped to take care of family members dogs in the past and I’ve also worked as an aid in a kennel. I’m looking forward to gaining more experience! I'm a college student and have most of my availability on Fridays but I’m also open to working on weekend days on a case by case basis. Safety is a top priority for me. Before working with any owners I have a policy of having a short talk with them about any safety concerns for their animal(s).
About: I am a dedicated, attentive dog mom to my boy, Dobby, who is 10 years old. I adopted him when he was 8 weeks old and spent many hours training him to be the incredible dog he has always been. I have been a dog sitter on an overnight-basis for about 20 years now and have even more experience with care on a daily or drop-in basis for feeding, walking, playing or simply just some love and attention. I believe my love and compassion for not only my own dog but all dogs translates well into the meticulous care I provide. I have a proven track record of forming bonds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds and I look forward to becoming buddies with yours! I work from home on a freelance/contract basis so pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine. My schedule is flexible as a graphic designer and web developer so I will easily be able to fit your pet into my schedule. Safety and comfort of the dog are my top concerns and I take them very seriously. To address these needs, I go over what your dog is used to when you are home (i.e. set feed times, set walking route, specific leash requirements, schedule, etc.) and what your typical protocols are then adhere to what your dog is used to as strictly as possible. I believe a safe and comfortable dog is a happy dog and it is my job to ensure that through providing as much familiarity as possible.
About: Hi, I’m Leah! Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember, and I bring that same lifelong love and care into every visit, walk, or cuddle session. Whether it’s a long walk, playful games, feeding, or medication, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved—just like they do with you. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family, so I make communication and dependability my top priorities. You’ll always know how your pet is doing, and you can relax knowing they’re in capable, compassionate hands. Pet care isn’t my side gig—it’s my full-time passion. I’ve dedicated my schedule entirely to caring for animals, which means your pets get my full attention, flexibility, and consistency every time. Experience: I've been immersed in the world of pet care since I was young, starting at the tender age of 5 when my cat Spooky had a litter of kittens. Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of caring for pets at every stage, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors.
“I was very impressed that Morgan was able to squeeze in a Meet + Greet on the same day I had a cancellation + then swing back to do everything I asked her to do (walk + feed) for my border terrier including a quick let out right before she left which I didn't request! Thanks! I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I am a Biomedical Sciences Pre-Vet Major at UNH, and have had animals my entire life. I have experience handling dogs of all ages (newborn to senior) which includes obedience training, grooming and raising. I've been the main caretaker of my dogs since I was 12 years old. I have experience pet sitting client dogs, cats, horses, goats and pigs! I have 3 dogs, and have raised 3 litters of puppies. I have worked closely with a dog trainer/walker and have helped out before when her clients were in need of a sitter! Fostering dogs was also a big part of my life growing up, I helped home 14 dogs throughout my adolescence! There was a time where I even helped rehabilitate a baby bird! I have spent over 70 hours shadowing and interning at Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence (MA), getting practice handling and inspecting dogs and cats. I am currently a full-time student at UNH! I am available most days of the week, and in the past I adjust my hours around my clients needs (to the best of my ability). When visiting a client's home, I always make sure to check with the client on where keys are kept, which doors are to be used/locked and the typical routine. I try to maintain a calm environment as to reduce the stress of the animal, by using a calm tone and keeping an eye on body language to maintain boundaries. I have my own car which expands the area in which I can take the dog for walks, while also allowing me to transport the animal in case of emergency. This past summer I enjoyed taking one of my clients to different walking trails and dog friendly locations throughout my area. At my own house, I utilize crates and baby gates to provide safe, calm, separate spaces for rest while also allowing the opportunity for play.
“Willow is a little hesitant with new people but Patrick took the time to gain her trust. I appreciate the photos and updates after each visit and he was on board with all of willows needs!”

About: I have been out walking dogs and dog sitting with friends who also use Rover, and believe that i’m efficient and capable to walk other dogs as well. Flexible schedule due to going back and forth from school, will definitely be willing to pick up random walks and stays here and then when classes permit me to do so. As i’m not a dog owner myself, I’ve mainly just been walking dogs with instructions from family and friends and just checking in with the owner to make sure everything is alright. I’m good at following directions.

Jennifer was wonderful with Sunny, and it was clear right away that she has a lot of experience with dogs. He felt comfortable with her immediately. She was kind, reliable, and very responsive when our schedule changed twice. I appreciated the updates she shared about his walks, and I feel confident trusting Jennifer again for walks or overnight stays.
