About: I have had dogs my whole life, all different breeds with all different needs. My current dog lives with seizures and continuously needs attention, meds, and different foods, so I understand that all dogs need special care, and lots of love! My schedule varies, but I am actively looking to make extra money over the summer, so I will do my best to make bookings work! If visiting your home to care for your pup, I can take them on a walk, play with them, feed them, clean up any accidents if necessary, or give them meds if needed! I want to care for them just the same as you would.

“Sofia was extremely conscientious and communicative with us, while she looked after our cat and fish while we were on an extended trip. Our cat is a senior kitty and needs a fair bit of TLC and Sofia was wonderful with him, engaging him with his favorite toys and making sure his prescription food needs were met. Everything was cleaned and neatly put away when we came home, and that we appreciated as well. We highly recommend Sofia and will definitely be booking her for our future pet sitting needs!”

About: I’ve had animals of all kinds in my family since I was born! I have been dogsitting, cat sitting, and babysitting since I was 14. My sister works at a Doggy Daycare center where I have helped her with night shifts. Additionally to that, through her rover app, I have done overnight pet stays I’m currently a junior at the University of New Hampshire! Tuesdays, and Thursdays-Sundays are my most flexible days! But I’m sure things could be worked out for Mondays, and Wednesdays too. I can easily follow whatever rules your fur baby is most adjusted too! Whatever the case may be, I will make sure they stay on their schedule 😊

About: My schedule is very specific working around work shifts! I’m very communicative and we can work something out that is best for both of us!! I have both personal and professional experience with cats and dogs. I’ve worked with dogs during my time at Essex Tech. I have also have basic experiences with small animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. During my time there I learned the basics of training, grooming and overall behavior. This all led me to have a better grasp at caring for dogs and what their needs are. I have my own cat named Fasa and a dog named Summer, so I have personal experience with them! He’s the buff kitty in my photos! I have also worked at a doggy daycare located in Salem called Walk A Pup where they strive to provide a safe and enriching environment for the dogs in their care. During those six months, I not only walked dogs but also did basic obedience and evening check-ins at client's homes. I was also briefly a bather at Petsmart where watching behavior is a big aspect. Currently I work there caring for the animals we sell. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified. Working part-time fills in a lot of my time and my schedule is often on a week-by-week basis. My availability varies, so it’s best for you to just message me to find out if my schedule works with yours! I know leaving your pet to a stranger is very nerve-wracking and scary. However, I like to reassure you that because of my experience, I am equipped to make sure that your pet has the care they need while you are away for work, vacation, or any other situation. I am more than happy to update you as many times are you need me to. I am also certified in Pet CPR and First aid and have a car that allows me to drive your pet somewhere if something were to happen.

I live right in downtown Durham, so I’m within walking distance of many nearby neighborhoods, and I also have my own car for clients a little farther away. I’m able to work around my classes and can be available during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends depending on your pet’s needs! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to any instructions about feeding, walks, medications, playtime, or specific behaviors to look out for. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other safety measures are always secure. I also know how reassuring it is to hear how your pet is doing while you’re away, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos!

About: I love spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I am responsible, dependable, and will treat every pet like my own! I also have experience with dog sitting and walking. I love being active and outside. I also am at school missing my puppies at home so I will give your all of the attention, this is just as much for me as it is for them! I am currently in classes so I am working around that but can be very flexible on weekends and Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays after 10 am! I have a huge fenced in backyard where I love to throw the ball and play with my pups. I also walk them around my neighborhood when I feel they need a change of scenery and some new smells!

“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”
