“Alexa did a wonderful job in looking after my cats by feeding them and playing with them for 30 minutes each day while I was away for a week. My cats were in good hands!”

“Lydia was a fantastic cat sitter for our two cats while we were traveling. She was punctual, cared for them as instructed and even our cat that is wary of strangers warmed right up to her. Would recommend Lydia for your pet sitting needs.”

“Hannah was super nice and attentive. She responded right away when I asked if she was available, and we were able to arrange a meet and greet in just a couple of days. She took great care of our cat George and sent pictures and reports of her visits, and gave him lots of loving while she was here. Highly recommend! Great with cats but I am sure she would be great with dogs too!”

“We are so grateful to have found Haleigh S. to do drop ins for our very social kitty while we were away. Haleigh S. provided thoughtful, detailed Rover cards and pictures and we could tell our kitty loved getting to spend that time with her. We loved the souvenir polaroid waiting for us when we returned home. We will definitely reach out to Haleigh S. for our future drop in needs.”

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I have 4 cats and 3 dogs. I have large backyard right on the Piscataqua River which is great for your animal to run around. I currently work a part time job in Portsmouth, NH which allows me to be available everyday except Wednesdays and Thursday. I would be happy to work around your schedule. I currently do not have any pets at our house. I live right on the Piscataqua River with a large yard. My two adult children have moved out and my empty nest is looking for some fur companionship!
“Kate is wonderful! Super friendly and was really helpful when I needed someone for the holiday weekend. Potter loved her and I hope she loved him! She sent pictures every visit which I love. She even washed the dishes that she used 🙌🏼 would love to have Kate back again!”

About: Animals are my life— I’ve been a pet-sitter for most of it! I’ve had dogs and horses of my own, worked on a farm, at a zoo, and rehab facilities! I have two wonderful pups who are very friendly and welcoming. I just finished my graduate degree, moved to Portsmouth, and I’m currently looking for a career in marine conservation field. In the meantime, I’d love to watch your pets! I’m currently working for The Nature Conservancy, in-office only 2-3 days a week. My partner works from home and is able to help out with any needs if/when I’m away from the house. We spend a lot of time playing both inside and outside with the dogs, keeping the dogs entertained with new toys, chews, and puzzles. I have a partially fenced in yard, where my own dogs are trained to play within limits. If your dog can be trusted, I can do the same or keep them leashed!
“Julianne was lovely to work with!!! She checked in on our cats everyday and sent plenty of photos and updates. She was professional, friendly, and I felt safe leaving our pets in her care. Would book again :)”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in the house since I was a child and have since become a dog dad in my adult life!! I’ve done dog sitting and cat sitting officially for the past year with my partner and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with all of the lovely pets I’ve gotten to meet. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends!! I am currently working a full time, 9am-5pm, as part of the maintenance personnel for an apartment company in Newmarket NH. I have early mornings and evenings free and could do drop in visits during the work days if need be!! I’d prefer to not board pets, as I live in a smaller apartment with other people and pets. With that said, I have a lot of experience with pet care in their own homes and vow to follow all instructions for each individual client!!
About: Caring for animals is what I love to do. With an extensive background in animal care, I have worked at animal shelters, humane societies, zoos, aquariums, and many wildlife rehabilitation centers throughout my life. I have cared for animals of all shapes and sizes ranging from dogs to birds to tortoises and even to gorillas. Of course, I have had furry friends of my own and currently own the cutest little kitty, Sprout. I grew up with my childhood pups, Rosie and Moses. They always enjoyed cuddling up on the couch next to me, loved taking weekend trips to the dog park, and they especially always looked forward to some new fluffy toys that they could destroy. I don't want to use the term spoiled, but my animals are just that, and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I just moved to the area so my schedule is very flexible during the week and I can help take care of your furry friend whenever needed. I am also always available anytime on the weekends. Your pet will be treated as a part of my furry family. I provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for your pet, ensuring they feel at home while you're away. This includes lots of play time and plenty of affection, and yes all pets are allowed to cuddle up on the couch or sleep in the bed at my house. I also follow any specific routines or special care instructions to keep your pet happy and healthy.
“We couldn't be happier with Chris and the wonderful job they did caring for our two cats! They took notes during our meet up and immediately clicked with the cats (which means they are an expert at reading those sometimes subtle cat body cues). We really appreciated their comfort and confidence caring for the cats, including one who requires daily meds. They sent daily pictures and updates, gave the cats plenty of love and attention, and we returned to a very neat, tidy house and two happy kitties! We are looking forward to their next stay!”

Volunteer work with B.A.R.K, S.P.C.A, as well as experience working as a kennel assistant at Holiday Barn Pet Resort. Why I love dog sitting? I've always gravitated towards animals; I was that kid who brought home any animal that crossed my path, feeding strays, foresting. Growing up in a home where the pet to human ratio always favored pets, pet sitting is second nature to me. My experience administering medication I've done my fair share of administering medication to all sorts of animals. I am able to administer oral, injections, topical ointments, as well as suppositories. I currently work a dual remote position at NHPBS and have the flexibility to work from home which allows me ample time to provide the attention and care your pet requires. I’ll be an extension of your home and care. The goal is to provide a safe environment where your pet feels loved and has an enjoyable stay until your return.

About: I have taken animal science classes for past 4 years and previously worked at doggy daycare and boarding facilities. I am also proficient on administering many specialized medications such as insulin and heart meds. I have been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old and have worked with all types of dogs from Chihuahua puppies to senior Great Danes. I am currently in college and have class most mornings for a couple hours. I would be free to visit any pups all throughout the day on most weekdays, usually Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as the weekend. I always ensure that whatever animal I am taking care of is comfortable and feels that they are in a safe environment as well as others around them. Being with people other than their parents can be a stressful situation for some pets and I work to make that encounter as stress free as possible.
