“Inge was very helpful, involved, and dedicated to keeping our cats happy and safe. She also made sure to clean up after our cats’ mischievous activities. There’s a reason she has great reviews!!”

“Tereza was very attentive and caring with our cat Sammy. She sent lots of pictures showing Sammy getting lots of love which made us happy to know he was in good hands while we were away. We highly recommend Tereza and will request her again.”

“Stephanie did an excellent job dropping in to take care of our cat! Pepper is elderly and very timid but warmed up quickly. Stephanie went above and beyond and even brought in some big packages that were delivered while we were gone. She was great at sending pictures and updating us on how Pepper was doing while we were out of town for a week. We would definitely trust Stephanie to take care of Pepper next time we are away!”

“Kristen did a great job taking care of our cat while we were gone, which included giving her medication twice a day. She sent lots of pictures and our cat loved Kristen. We will definitely ask her to watch our cat again in the future!”

“We are so grateful to have found Haleigh S. to do drop ins for our very social kitty while we were away. Haleigh S. provided thoughtful, detailed Rover cards and pictures and we could tell our kitty loved getting to spend that time with her. We loved the souvenir polaroid waiting for us when we returned home. We will definitely reach out to Haleigh S. for our future drop in needs.”

“An absolute stellar sitter. My cat is on tube feeding, which can be time consuming and complicated, and Nicole went above and beyond. She really cared so well for my kitty. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of pups for over 15 years. Unfortunately I do not have any of my own right now (just 3 monster kitties) so I am eager to spend time with yours! I work remotely so I am always available any day and time needed, rain or shine! I am also happy to accommodate any specific requests. At this time, I only do walks and drop-ins as I have 3 cats of my own at home. Whatever specific needs you and your animal have, just let me know and I will ensure they are happy and healthy in my care!
“Kate was wonderful with our three kitties. We had never worked with her before, and she was able to handle a complex situation that that involved medications with one of our kitties who is healing from a foot injury. She was also available on very short notice which was a huge relief to us. Her communication was excellent, and her enthusiasm and care for animals is immediately apparent. We highly recommend Kate and we’re so glad we have met her!!”

“Jessica was wonderful to work with. She was very kind and responsive and took excellent care of my kitties. She also took great care of my apartment and I came home to a very clean space. I highly recommend working with Jessica!”

“Excellent! Prompt and good with the dogs. Erin was friendly and kind. She sent messages and pictures. The dogs were walked and fed. House was clean and no accidents from the dogs! So happy to come home to my well looked after dogs.”

About: Hi! Heya! Hello! Are you looking for someone to care for your pet while your away? Well you've found them! Fun, energetic animal lover who can't wait to meet your pet! Drop-ins and Walking! Volunteer work with B.A.R.K, S.P.C.A, as well as experience working as a kennel assistant at Holiday Barn Pet Resort. Why I love dog sitting? I've always gravitated towards animals; I was that kid who brought home any animal that crossed my path, feeding strays, foresting. Growing up in a home where the pet to human ratio always favored pets, pet sitting is second nature to me. My experience administering medication I've done my fair share of administering medication to all sorts of animals. I am able to administer oral, injections, topical ointments, as well as suppositories. I currently work a dual remote position at NHPBS and have the flexibility to work from home which allows me ample time to provide the attention and care your pet requires. I’ll be an extension of your home and care. The goal is to provide a safe environment where your pet feels loved and has an enjoyable stay until your return.
About: I've had a family dog my whole life, but am patiently waiting for the right time to get my own (just finished grad school!) I utilized this service going into college (2019) hence why there is a gap in reviews. I have returned to aid in starting to pay off my student loans :) I'll be able to stop by your house and let the dog out whenever you'd prefer me to, I know most dogs are on a schedule! Little dogs are my favorite (as you can tell by my pictures) but I'm comfortable around all sizes! Feel free to message me with scheduling questions as my primary job is pretty flexible with when I work so it should be easy to work with you as well! I currently work as a full-time waitress, but have most mornings to mid afternoons off. Those who work 9-5's would work best with my schedule as mine varies week to week but I am more than happy to chat on a day-to-day basis for scheduling- which is why I allow same-day cancelation! Disclaimer: I charge an additional $6 for same day 30 minute bookings and $12 for same day 60 minute bookings. These prices offset Rover fees, I will only be receiving $5/$10. Walking: Making sure leash/collar are secure before heading on walks, being wary of traffic patterns and individuals walking in our vicinity. Sitting: If at my home- make sure to remove anything small or edible from the ground, keep doors closed If in your home- Make sure doors to outside are closed, watch when they're in the yard, following any requests you give me!
About: Besides owning a cat for most of my life with special medical needs, and petsitting for neighbors with 2 cats and a dog, I also have an education background in Zoology & Animal Behavior! This makes me a great fit with all kinds of pets, and shows you my dedication to the creatures we love. Although I have no formal education in dog training, I worked in a facility that trained dogs, and my lovely coworkers there passed me some valuable knowledge that has deepened my understanding (and love!) of dogs. I'm currently working part-time, which leaves me pretty flexible for sitting as long as I have plenty of notice! However, I do reserve Saturdays for time with my friends & family. Otherwise, the sky's the limit! I can easily and safely crate animals as needed, with professional experience in this area. In case of any kind of accidents, pet parents will always be notified immediately, and the area will be cleaned as necessary. I take the safety & cleanliness of your pets just as seriously as their enjoyment of their time with me.
Acorn Acres cat parents share their Rover experiences
Linda cared for my pets while we were away for a wedding. She was marvelous! Besides just feeding and walking them, she got to know them as individuals. Making sure that the more assertive cat didn’t eat the other cats food and learning how to manage the dog walks. She even let me know when there was a potential issue at the house…
