About: I have had cats my entire life, most of the time I have had multiple cats at once. I purchased my own cat when I was ten years old and took most of the responsibility of caring for her. Two of my cats lived to be over 20 years old! I have also cat sat for other friends and family members. I have a cat of my own who has had many medical issues and have experience giving cats medication of different varieties. “Gavin took care of my six year old orange tabby for approximately two weeks. This was my first experience with Rover. In fact, when I first registered with Rover and started searching for house sitters with availability, I contacted Gavin in error. (Technology is not my strong suit). Gavin was gracious and kind in responding to my newbie error. When I intentionally reached out to him to see if he was interested in setting up a meet and greet, he responded in a timely manner, as he did with all of our communications. While away, I received daily updates and pictures, detailing their breakfasts together, bonding on the couch during football games, etc. Gavin’s notes were warm, sincere and always included great pictures of his charge. He always responded quickly to my comments/questions from his updates. Gavin was extremely responsible and trustworthy during his time in our home. He tidied up, above and beyond, when his time with my cat wrapped up. We were away for 10 days on a cruise in the middle of a snow storm and very cold weather. Madison noticed it was cold in the house and let me know. As we were trying to trouble shoot, she rebooted my NEST twice and recharged it! Digger was in totally awesome hands! About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.
About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. My business is in insurance sales which has me doing most of my work from home. This allows me to take great care of my dog Sammy and any of his friends. We’ve got a spacious open concept home with a big grassy fenced in back yard for lots of play time. We can also easily crate your dog if needed. Have peace of mind that your doggy will be safe and well cared for by myself as well as Sammy!

About: Dogs have always been my favorite animal. I grew up with family dogs my whole life. My dog, Ellie, is an amazing 13 year old lab-mix that we have had since she was 8 weeks old. I would love to help with all of your furry friends needs! I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of flexibility in my schedule. I would have the ability to care for your dog multiple times in a day if needed. I am happy to provide any care that your dog needs. I am unable to take dogs in to my home at this time but happy to pick your dog up for walks and adventures or care for them in your house.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a kid. I started dog walking and pet sitting during the summers in college and am looking to continue caring for your precious pets as I start a new career as a teacher. I am experienced in caring and training puppies as well as taking care of senior dogs who need extra care. I look forward to meeting your pets! I’m currently off for the summer as I am a teacher. I am very flexible schedule wise to take care of your pet’s needs on your schedule. I have been trained in dog walking and pet safety for all kinds of breeds. I will of course follow any safety requirements that you need to keep your pets safe and well loved.

She loves dogs and treated ours as if he was her own (feeding, walks, playtime, safety). She would’ve taken him to the beach the next morning but we had to pick him up early and drive back to NYC. We would 100% recommend her when you’re in the Kittery/Portsmouth area!”

He is a one person dog, loves other dogs, but he does not do well sequestered away, crated, etc. He needs people interaction and cuddling! He got tons here. Nutty is high energy and loves room to run so the fenced yard was golden. Lol. Usually he doesn't eat when I'm not around but he ate all his food! I was amazed. So this is definitely my go to place from now on.”
