About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to my French Bulldog, Buoy. Being his owner has given me hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and all the little details that keep dogs happy, healthy, and comfortable. In addition to caring for my own pup, work as a babysitter, and many of the families I work with have both dogs and cats. I regularly help care for their pets as part of my time with them—whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company while their owners are away. It’s something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m very comfortable balancing both child and pet care in a calm, attentive way. I’ve also spent a lot of time helping family members with their dogs, including energetic Labs and a sweet Dachshund, so I’m familiar with a range of sizes, temperaments, and exercise needs. I’m reliable, patient, and tuned into each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, slow sniff-filled strolls, or just a little extra attention—or your cat prefers a calm, gentle approach—I’m here to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy. I work as a teacher, so am primarily looking to find pet care jobs on the weekends, but would potentially have availability during the weekday evenings if needed. I like to take the time to really get to know each animal and understand their personality, routine, and comfort level. Every pet is different, and I want them to feel safe and relaxed with me from the start. I prefer to schedule a meet and greet with both the pet and owner before beginning any drop-in visits or walks. This gives me a chance to learn their routine, go over any specific needs or preferences, and make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. It also helps your pet feel more comfortable since we’ve already met in a familiar environment.
About: Had a deep soul connection with my cat Marbles for 15 years 🖤🐈⬛🌹 I enjoy showing animals comfort and care. Not afraid to get down on the ground and play either :) I’m an intuitive and allow animals their space and time to enjoy nature. I prefer not to rush them but can stay on schedule if need be. Please book a drop-in visit if you’d like an in-person meet and greet. I prefer not to be around cigarettes, vape, artificial scents and harsh chemicals (detergents, dryer sheets, perfumes, candles, air fresheners, harsh chemicals, etc.) These are not healthy for us or our beloved animals ✌️🐾♥️). *Important* my house is temporarily limited at the moment, so for daycare services, I’d prefer to entertain your dog (or cat on a leash) around town, hang out at the lodge or go for a long walk or hike rather than back to my place. If this is an issue, please message me before booking. When messaging please include a “💚” so I know you read this. Thank you! Additionally, please message me if you would like to discuss rates. Thank you 🥰♥️🤗 I’m pretty flexible at the moment; albeit a tad busy also. I do have one other dog that I walk morning and night but we can work around that. If it is an emergency I could probably work something out for home care but right now I’m primarily caring for animals around their own home and neighborhood.

I cannot say enough good things about Krista... She walked our Bernese Mountain Dog multiple times while we were away and he was staying with my elderly parents. Krista communicated excellently with both me and my mom, and kept us up to date with texts and pictures on how each of the walks went. Our dog loves to walk off leash in the woods, and Krista worked up to that with him and had his utmost respect and confidence, as well as ours! We hope to be booking more walks with her in the future.
Gavin did an excellent job with drop-in visits for our dog! He brought her on neighborhood walks each time, ensured she had fresh water, and fed her meals as scheduled. He followed all instructions as far as returning her to her crate, making sure house doors were locked, etc.! Gavin was reliable, kind, and on schedule. We would definitely book with him again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
