“Samantha has been wonderful to have as juice’s “as needed” dog walker. She is always on time, very communicative, and enjoys actually spending some time with juice and our cat Luca. I highly recommend Samantha for all of your dog (or cat) sitting needs!!”

“Tati is great! She is very communicative throughout the whole process and answers quickly. She makes sure my dog is happy and comfortable on their walks. My dog loves her!”

“Andrew was a great dog walker! I've never, ever used a sitter before and I have a GIANT 4 month old Great Pyrenees. She's just a baby but she's about 35 pounds and FULL of crazy puppy energy. We normally walk her about 5-6 times a day but we needed a walker just for the daytime for 5 days. The first couple days was just once a day, but she was still having problems being crazy in her cage all day (until 4pm.) So I called Andrew and asked to up the walks to twice a day, and he was EXTREMELY helpful! It was a life saver! I spent the whole trip very worried about my puppy but it really helped to see pictures and get feedback about her behavior every day.”

I have experience working with all types of pets and I enjoy taking care of your fur babies <3. I can easily fit pet care into my schedule. I am a stay at home mom and enjoy spending time caring for animals 🫶🏼. I am available whenever you need me! I have a fenced in yard and would treat your pets with love, as if they were my own. About: Hey there! My name is Caley and I live right by North Beach in Hampton, NH with my fiancé, Garrett. I’m a photographer and a huge animal lover. We don’t have a dog of our own just yet, but I grew up with massive, drooly dogs (Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands), so I’m very comfortable handling pups of all shapes and sizes. I’m also a huge cat lover - so much so that we became “failed” foster parents to our now-cat, Barnett, who we fostered from The Odd Cat Sanctuary. BONUS: Because I’m a photographer, you can count on endless high-quality photos and videos of your pet while they’re in my care! I now work a 9–5 job as a Product and Marketing Photographer, in addition to running my own photography business on the side. Because of that, I’m only available on weekends (and some Friday's) for Dog Walking & Drop-in Visits. I am fully available to House Sit any day of the week, provided the commute to my 9-5 job remains manageable! I consider myself to be pretty laidback, go-with-the-flow and playful. My goal is to always ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care.

“Krista is amazing! We needed someone patient and trustworthy to come over and wake up our dogs, take them potty, feed them, and play with them. We have a blind dog and a deaf dog, and she took her time and ensured that they were comfortable with her! She went above and beyond and we are definitely doing to book with her again!”

“Cody was wonderful with our elderly dog, Amelia. So kind and thoughtful, ready to research our particular issues. I highly recommend her, and I will be sure to remember her if I need help in the future. Thank you Cody!! Lisa A.”

“Gavin did an excellent job with drop-in visits for our dog! He brought her on neighborhood walks each time, ensured she had fresh water, and fed her meals as scheduled. He followed all instructions as far as returning her to her crate, making sure house doors were locked, etc.! Gavin was reliable, kind, and on schedule. We would definitely book with him again!”

“I didn’t get any info about Macgyvers walk, so not sure how it went. Macgyvers walk seemed to be shorter than 1 hour that I booked, but Phoebe was very nice at our meet and greet and Macgyver seemed to like her at that visitvalso.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Hampton
I cannot say enough good things about Krista... She walked our Bernese Mountain Dog multiple times while we were away and he was staying with my elderly parents. Krista communicated excellently with both me and my mom, and kept us up to date with texts and pictures on how each of the walks went. Our dog loves to walk off leash in the woods, and Krista worked up to that with him and had his utmost respect and confidence, as well as ours! We hope to be booking more walks with her in the future.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
